@Poster one thing I ll tell you is please do not invest all the money in whatever you choose to do. Plan well and use just a little to startup then watch it grow before you keep adding to expand it. Believe me I am talking from experience.

Otherwise just look for the nearest Central bank to you and go and enquire about buying bonds. Usually they pay you a monthly profit while your money is still safe and intact with them and you can tell them for how long you want to invest. This option saves you so much stress, heartache, hypeetension etc. I watched over 12million go down the drain.

I am talking from experience. Its not just about getting the business idea. Pls prepare well. If buying machines, go for strong uk used rather than brand new. Cos if it happens you decide to sell, even if you bought it in millions and used for a month buyers will price for chicken change. If business goes well and you are making profit then you can upgrade to brand new.

Business especially in a place like ibadan needs major planning, tact, plus you have to follow up employees aggressively. Also I hope you are not the goody goody nice type? Cos with staff thats the beginning of failure. Plus the envy of the indigenes. I mean even if your neighbour sells shoes and you sell food, the fact you are getting high patronage is enough to raise evil against you. So please pray hard.

I am not discouraging you, there are many succeeding here. I am only giving you advice that i wish someone gave me.

Goodluck

Thank you so much ma,

I understand that starting a business requires a lot and I'm not ready to rush in quickly so I don't rush out too.

I know a bit about manufacturing and the ills associated with that sector so I do not intend to do any manufacturing biz for now. Maybe later.

I hope I'm free to contact you when I'm on ground. I could use your help in making some plans.

Thank you

Sister, NOTHING will ever justify the irresponsible act of the wife. SIMPLE!

Meanwhile, he never meant to chase her out, it's like someone saying "get out, I don't want to see you again"...

Bros. You are right they both acted irresponsibly.

But can you tell your wife to get out of the house for you out of anger and expect her to feel cool and safe? - No disrespect-

If she told him to leave the house what would have been his response.?

After reading the husband's part of the story, I could sense pride, dishonesty and no transparency on the part o f both parties.

Mr husband, no one should take sides. You are both wrong and the problem didn't start recently. It started the day you used your part of the money to cater for your parents(justified though) but not carefully thrashing it out with her. She must have felt ambushed and arm twisted by your decision which you likely carried out MANLY of course.

For her to be suspicious of your dealings means something was actually wrong and all you had to do was give her some reassurance. You telling her to pack out just sent shit right to the ceiling.

Bros. You need to rebuild that home. Would you like to have your children grow up in a broken home and exhibit a worse display of character when they are grown ups?

Her family will never support her.( no sane parents would) they want their daughter to remain married so they will oonly castigate her and beg you to reason beyond anger.

See this as a collective fault and tackle it as the head of the house.

Carefully sort this out and live your life away from social media.

She's your wife. You guys allowed the dark spot to grow so big because you fuelled with lack of love and c communication.

Bros do well by talking to your wife and settling thius matter like adults and partners. Don't make her feel she's inferior to you because she's a lady.

You wanna take kids away from her? You both own them. The moment you do that, you create a bad platform for your kiuds and they will suffer most not your wife.

Think smarter and better bros.
Put anger under your foot where it should be
Throw pride into the sewage. It should be there forever
Rise up and filled your home with sweet smelling love and watch her apologise and behave like the lady you married.

Religion / Re: Is It Ideal To Collect Change When Dropping Offering In Church? by Vicyace: 9:15am On Jul 01, 2018
RadicallyBlunt:

So what happens to a person who sows a seed offering, prayed and fasted on it for days or weeks and drops it in d offering bag/box hoping he has send the money on a mission only for it to be taken by someone else as change probably to buy chewing gum or to give conductor on his way back. How would you feel as d sower?

BTW can you present a money gift to ur boss in d office and right there in his front ask for change?

Brother if u respect God more than ur boss, you will run round and get change before dropping d offering.

What you've given, you've given! Keep your dignity and respect Gods integrity.

These words are not true. This is misleading in all ways.

You mean God is more interested in that particular money offered than the heart that offered the money?

Let's look at it this way, you drop 500 as a welfare offering, someone drops 1000 and collects your 500 as change, does it affect or stop your 500 from doing it's work? Does it reduce its value and importance? NO.

We are too religious and neglect the true act and importance of Christianity.

I once attended a rccg and I drop a certain amount of money hoping to get my change later after the service for my tfare. At the end of the service, j was told I wouldn't be able to get my change as it was against their policy. I flared up and demanded for a written notice to support their claim.. in a nut shell, I got my change.

I think most churches don't give change because of so many reasons. People drop fake Monies and stop collect change.....people lie about dropping certain amount of money and still collect change. Blablabla

Op thank God you raise the question "Will kill me?" Answer is they will pay you 100k. After the testimony, they will pay you 200k and then, they will track you down and kill you, collect back their 200k if it was paid in cash.
Killing you is important to cover their tracks, and avoid blackmail or unnecessary troubles from you.

Her first post and outburst was a clear indication and strong symptom of depression. For everyone castigating her, just pray you don't get depressed in life.

Many terrible things happen to depressed people.
They can't think straight. They are suicidal. They see nothing beautiful about life anymore. They value nothing anymore even their life.
They only seek a way out to be free and be all alone. To them, it's the solution.

Many people suffer from depression in Nigeria and it's a pity that most people don't even know they are depressed not to mention looking for a lasting treatment.

May God help her and all the depressed souls in Nigeria and the world at large.

lol spoiler alert arabic is also used to teach sometimes.
schooling in Algeria is hard. not trying to discourage you but if you are sure you want to school outside the country and with a different language you have to be prepared mentally. because it really bleeps some of us nigerians here up.

alright i will be here to help incase you need more info.
Goodluck man

I thought as much too.
I'm interested in Microbial Biotechnology (masters deg)
How did you apply? Couldn't proceed on the website due to the language barrier. I've sent a mail and hopefully I will get a feedback.
Could you explain how you applied.?

Well, nothing is easy in this life. Staying alive in nigeria can't be less difficult than studying further in another country.lol

In fact I see learning the language as a plus.

for anglophones you learn french for a year before you start your given courses.
yh there are schools that teach in english but they are given to students on other scholarships(pan african scholarships i think). schooling in Algeria is almost free. i paid 400 dinars last year which is like N1200 and accomodation is given which is cheap also.
for research purposes you can check this schools.
USTHB alger.
universite d'oran(i school here)
universite D'alger.
the webaite for the scholaeship is edu.gov.ng but our government closes it till january when it is time for registration.
Just use google you should find better answers than the one i have given.
Goodluck.

Thank you so much. I have been doing some research on my own. Most of the info on their web are in Arabic and French. The info you have provided makes good sense and I will keep you posted when i have more enquires

you can go to the federal ministry of education website then go to scholarship boards. normally there used to be a website for it particularly, but they closed it and i heard they open it around january when it is time to apply. but there are threads for it on nairaland. it is called bilateral education agreement(bea). and there are also wide range of countries to pick. even european and asian countries. and the application is free

about algeria, Algeria is a very peaceful country generally. though it can be a bit boring if you dont go and look for fun because they are very reserved people. and life can be so cheap here lol. almost everything is very cheap that you might consider them as being free.

Bro, what is general language of study? French? Are courses offered in English too?
Which university do you attend?
What is the tuition fees like? Kindly give a range please?

Do not start a sachet water business without carefully studying the business. I have seen many people that have invested heavily on this business and are back to ground zero because of lack of proper planning. Production and manufacturing in naija no be child's play.
If you wanna start a business, look into wholesale distribution first. Gather enough understanding, experience and contacts.

Personally, I would give settling in canada a shot via PR. While I carefully seek a more business to do here on Nigeria if plan A fails.
