mrblessed: If "intent is the crux of the matter" how can the security camera dictate the intention of someone who took goods into her handbag with her own hands? It is not difficult to imagine that countless number of petty thivies have been caught in the past whose excuse for pilfering is based ALARMINGLY on intent. In fact, I found it amazing that you are protesting that the security camera should be a mind reader, to ascertain and prove your good intentions and consequently declare you INNOCENT. This is a basic problem of the black race: we always seek a scapegoat; someone to blame for all our shortcomings and missteps.
This is a non-issue, and I think the supermarket did have a human face in the treatment metted out to you. If I am in your situation, although I will feel highly depressed and disappointed, but I won't go shopping for a culprit. The charge that lockers weren't provided to eliminate the possibility of moving in with handbags is not only shaky, but based on slender foundation. Stop attempting to pass the buck; it is not only puerile, it casts questions about yourself. Oga go and sit down somewhere or better still fond somewhere to sleep. The OP didn't intentionally steal those items and I believe she put up this write up to get thjings off her mind and also to call people's attention to issues like this. Do not make the healing process more difficult for her please. She already knew and accepted her mistake. In a sane environment, the cctv would be played to really ascertain what happened and the events that led to the items in her bag. What if the items were purposely dropped in her bag by someone else without her consent? What if she claimed the items were hers, wouldn't they play the Cctv to counter her claim? Like she said, they just wanted a scapegoat and I hope they didn't take a video of her sha. This actually taught me a lesson. Not to be too lackadaisical and absent minded especially in public places. |

Peagee: Good day everyone, my wife and I had our interview @ Abuja last week. We were refused, please help me with your opinions to know what went wrong. VO - Passport me - Passed the passports to her VO - Where are you going in the US? me - Texas VO - Faced me, where do you work? me - told her VO - Faced WIfy, what do you do? WIfy- Told her VO - why are you going to the US? Me - Going for a short vacation and spend the Valentine's there. VO - Do you have kids? Me & WIfy - Yes, 3 children VO - Do you have anyone in the US? Me & WIfy - No VO - You are not eligible this time around.
NOTE: I had an uncle that was working with the Nigeria Ambassador to Canada about 18yrs ago, my uncle travelled to Canada with the Ambassador when he got the appointment(I don't know the type of Visa my uncle got to travel with him) After 4 years when he finished his tenure my uncle relocated to New York( I don't know the status he used to enter the USA). My uncle has visited Nigeria about 3 times since then and spent weeks or months when he comes around. About 4 years ago he had stroke, rushed to the hospital and died in the US, and he was buried there. Please I want to know if the embassy will have his record has been dead or they will have it as someone that travelled and didn't come back. I am just surprised that the interview ended almost immediately she asked if we have anybody in the US. Please I need your opinions because we intend to apply with the family for holidays later in the year. NOTE: No travel history, my wife just wanted to visit US because most of her colleagues have visited so I am just trying to fulfil her desire. Thanks everyone. Hello, Please I would like to speak with you concerning the refusal letter please if you don't mind. |

Story for the god's
If Kelly actually did most of those stuff, won't any of those women have taken him to court since
No evidence is been given so this is just talk
Innocent until proven guilty
Sue him if u think he is guilty and stop trying to bring d nigga down My thoughts exactly. So a documentary is now supposed to prove him guilty of all these allegations. So the court is now on TV? The kind of effort, time and funds used to air this documentary could have been used to file a court case against him but no. They didn't do that. Most of them have no evidence. They just wanna trend, destroy a life, pay back from being jilted possibly, and make some money too. I'm not saying Kelly is a clean dude, but sue his asss and make him pay for his atrocities if he really didn't all of those things. |

Carshopper: The man as a business and the man as a person are two different things.
The man as a business holds and treats every object that comes his way as a Business venture or opportunity. So if u owe the man in business 2k, he seems it his right to collect regardless of what u say. The man in business is there for profit and to profit from his skill sets he has to be determined, ruthless to an extent and provides his skill set at a fee he only determines and delivers such skill accurately. Note the man in business will ONLY deliver that skill set he was called upon to do.
while
The man as a person drives in between sentiments to achieve a need based on empathy. He shares the feelings of others, that's what drives him. The man in person always seek things on easy grounds. Sometimes he just talks without providing a solution other times he has d solution but keeps it to himself. He thinks about the actions of the man as a business and can't comprehend why he charges a fee... Bros, nothing is free when u are the man as a business.
whilst we shout n complain, always try to see apples for what they are ... just apples... calling someone names when you don't know about the person or u think that person actions is based on urs is just lame.
Las Las every one is out here to share ideas and progress... not to compete.. Good point. |

When two or more people say something about you that needs to be corrected, then there may be a pinch of truth in it at least.
Being rude doesn't make anyone a champion.

Dude, the printer of the book made a huge mistake by Arabic numerals rather than roman figure to differentiate the questions. That kid probably did it himself, hence the mistake. So I say he is smart, for identifying the smallest number. |

semitunde: I guess there aren't many taxify drivers in Ibadan yet. Yeah. That's true I have driven Taxify in Ibadan for a month and it's been a mix of good and bad. Obviously, earnings can't be compared with Lagos earnings but still manageable. Problem is fares just dey cheap mehn and pick ups are quite long most of the time. Could be really frustrating. If you drive in Ibadan, kindly come in and let's relate to move ibadan forward |
