Hello! Compliments of the season. Please I need to be clarified. Are trying to say that requesting for Gcms notes can prompt the VO handling one's application to hasten in the processing and making of decision on visa application that has passed the normal processing time? Thanks for your quick response. ifechidi: Request a Gcms note. Mine is May 14th no update till I requested a Gcms note. There u saw how far my application has gone and that they were almost finalising it. I pray I get a positive response soon. My eligibility reads recommend interview. I'm all set waiting for them. Positive vibes |

Thank you Boss for this important advice. Seriously, it's not for the faint-hearted. The waiting is not easy to cope with. I pray for God Almighty sudden intervention on our behalf so that we all come out successful. Surely, it will end in praises for all of us. makano: Like I always advise applicants before embarking on the Canada study journey, you must really have a lot of patience cos the process of waiting for a decision can make someone depressed if you are not prepared for it..
This is my advise that will help a little, after applying for your Canada study permit and doing your biometrics, take off your mind from it and focus on other aspects of your life, I.e your Job, your business , your family e.t.c. Make sure you do somethings that engages your time and mind, do not put all your life around your Canada application, at least you had a life before Canada, so let it remain like that..
You can occasionally be checking your profile or your mails to see if there is any update from IRCC.. And this can be done once or twice a month, and not the every minute checking of your profile like some applicants here do..
This Canada Visa application is not for the faint hearted, this doesn't only apply to study permit application, Express Entry, Visiting Visa e.t.c also experience delays in final decision..
Despite the long wait and delay, it will surely end in oriase..
Peace |

I agree with you. I did mine at IOM Abuja on the 2nd and it was updated to pass on the 6th kennyjoy: With my own observation IOM is faster in submitting medical results to IRCC than Qlife. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Viewoliver: 11:53am On Dec 28, 2021 |
It will be updated to pass on your application status once IRCC review your medical examination. Keep checking your application status on your Gckey portal. Creativeowos: Thanks to everyone that responded to my question regarding my high bp during medical screening. My next question is how do i know if my medical exam result is passed. Please someone should give me the procedure so i can be sure. It's over a week now that i did my medical. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by Viewoliver: 2:48am On Dec 28, 2021 |
You will not even fail the medical examination or let alone be refused your visa as a result of HBP. I had same issue at IOM Abuja where both the nurses and the doctor complained of my Blood Pressure being in the high side. Though my medical was updated to "passed" in four days time afternoon the examination. Please, don't worry about that. Your medical will be updated to pass in as much as you don't have any other serious health challenges. It will end in praise. Creativeowos: Hello guys, please i did my medicals at Qlife last week and my blood pressure was high, i was really surprised because am just 27years old. Do they refuse someone because of blood pressure. Please anybody that knows the perfect answer should reply please |

I tap into your Grace and Testimony in Jesus Mighty Name.... AMEN! Congratulations!!! May Canada favour you. I slimberry16: Okay so time for timeline and Gist. This is my 6th admission to conestoga (crazy right ? ) I’ve been getting admission since 2018 but never really made it to the visa application stage because of one document or the other most especially POF but somehow this year I made it work and FINALLY applied. I’ve been denied US visa, Turkish visa and Australian visa in the past so I didn’t exactly have a good record. But the only thing I’ll say is, when you see agents RUN OOH !! They don’t do anything special you’ll end up doing all the work and the only thing they’ll do is fill forms ( secretary isonu ). I did my application by myself from admission to PPR. I don learn my lesson
TIMELINE Application submitted: Aug 23 Biometrics done : Aug 27 Medical Request: Oct 20 Medical done : Nov 12 Medical passed : Nov 22 BVL & PPR : Dec 13
DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED Sponsors SOA Affidavit of sponsorship Sponsors employment and promotion letter Sponsors Tax ID & Work ID Property documents in my name Employment letter Letter of introduction from my company All my certificates (Bsc and Professional) Birth certificate Police Certificate My personal statement of account Tuition payment ( only paid the 1500 deposit) Letter of Acceptance
That’s all (I think)
Again, If you haven’t applied do it by yourself! Agents don’t do anything special.
And oh thanks to mankind for sharing some vital information with me
Success to everyone still awaiting Goodnews✅ |

Hello! Please, was ur initial LOA meant for you to resume by Fall 2021? Secondly, when has your admission been deferred to? I think my case is similar to urs in terms of application date though no request for my updated LOA. Eligibility started 1st October. Application submitted on 20th July. It will surely end in praise for us. Sweetness24: No one can really tell how long it will take,in my case I got a request for updated LOA since Sept 30(applied july 13) thinking I will get my decision soon after that, but I am still here waiting...let's just keep praying and hope for the best |

Congratulations on your PPR. U will certainly be issued a new LOA in Jesus Mighty Name... Amen! Thank you for your detailed explanation and wishes. EstherAda92: I don't think so I submitted my application July 13th, in the time of waiting I raised webform where my school stated that if I failed to be in school by September 21st, that my admission will be withdrawn, saying that they don't do deferral, this was a mail from my school that I sent to ircc to enable them make a quick decision on my application, thinking it will propel them to make quick decision on my application before my admission will be withdrawn. 21st September came and passed I started regretting why I sent the mail to ircc that my admission will be withdrawn by the school which was actually true but was just considering the effect of that statement on my application. but I never failed to pray and fast concerning my application on the alter of NSPPD. I decided to reapply to the school since they don't do deferral, up till now decision has not been made by the school but the application has been acknowledged. Despite the webform I raised stating my admission will be withdrawn if I weren't in school on the 21th September ircc made a decision on my application, first my eligibility started on 22nd October, I also started my fasting alongside with it and on the 26th of October Last month I got PPR. In conclusion it will not have effect on your application.
I wish you the best, it will end in praise |

Yes.....I want to update them on my new LOA after PPR. But am still wondering if my LOA of Fall 2021 which has expired could be the reason why decision has not been reached on my application up till this moment. 20th July applicant I certainly believe it will end in praise by God's Special Grace. nairagrounds: Deferred? Yes
For LOA. You can send your new LOA to the IRCC later, but necessary, not necessarily before you get PPR. I learned this from my school.
I hope that answers your question.
Cheers! |

Congratulations on your PPR May Canada favour you. Please did u defer ur admission to that Fall 2022? Secondly, did u update IRCC with ur new LOA through webform before ur PPR dropped? Thank you for your swift response. nairagrounds: I want to send my passport to Lagos VAC for stamping, but I want to hear about the experiences of those that did the same in the past.
I did my biometrics in Lagos and won't be traveling till next fall, so there's no point in rushing.
Also, what did the folks that got 2024 on their TRV do differently? Is it normal, or is it because they sent a new LOA to the IRCC? I'd like to get that.
What’s the take of you all, Nairalanders?
Thanks! |

Congratulations on your PPR Please I have a question here and your response will be appreciated. How long did the 2M ur uncle sent to your account stayed before your printed MBS for your second application? Freebands01: Applied from Nigeria. 2nd time applicant. First application was submitted on April 28th. Got denied in august for financials cos I used my uncle. I paid half of my first year tuition in April so i stated again in my LOE I haven’t got the money back. Applied for GCMS notes august 21 after denial. After 40days I had to submit my application when I didn’t receive notes, used my uncle again and he sent 2m into my account. I stated how established he is and add pictures of his company this time around. Documents submitted
Pof: MBs of sponsor Personal MBs of myself Company documents Proof to show he is my uncle (parents marriage certificate and my moms birth certificate showing their last name, stated how much he is sponsoring me with and add proof of tuition paid.
Clients information: LOE 8pages My old passport and visa pages Family passport and Id cards Land properties in my name with court stamps Waec and testimonial Used the same police report I did since March cos I was like if they need it they’d sent a request to get another one and others I can’t recollect Submitted September 30th and I didn’t want to enter October with submission. Since I submitted nothing changed on my portal, cos I stopped logging in everything was updated today when I got mail (medicals and eligibility) even biometrics haven’t been updated. 5weeks after I got PPR this afternoon.
God did it regardless. |
