PoliticsRe: Buhari, Time We Stopped Lying To Ourselves - Abimbola Adelakun by vigasimple(m): 2:57pm On Feb 11, 2016
The joke is on anyone who doesn't know that Buhari is a failure ab initio. (Iatin word meaning from the beginning)

Every sensible and successful government set their bold agenda within their first 100 days in office, but Buhari said 'they call me baba go slow, I am going to go slow and steady' . Those were his word for a man trying to lead Nigeria in 2015/2016!

You can fool most people most of the time but you cannot fool all the people all the time.

Buhari is born to rule Fulani man with power must go back to the North agenda.

These people are trying very hard to win south south or south east states especially an oil producing state. APC need the governor's money to prosecute the 2019 election the way they used Rivers state with help of Amechi for the 2015 elections.

One thing is certain, even if they conduct the elections 100 times, PDP will win.

Infact, if APC somehow managed to win any of those states, chaos is what will ensure. The judgement by the Supreme court may not be perfect but the end result is right and fair.

Since APC won the elections, then it must be corruption according to Sharareporters. Nonsense.

When Fayose said that everything about APC goverment is INCONCLUSIVE because they are incompetent and not ready for governance, some people were busy calling him all sort of names.

That is what you get when you 'elect a NEPA BILL' certificateless unintelligent person as a leader of Nigeria in 2016.

Mind you, the election is about power must return to the north otherwise the nation can burn.

Even without the budget saga, Mr. Buhari has no direction as to where is leading this nation, shouting kwaraption is not enough to deal with the state of the nation.

APC are sour losers. Fayemi is the sitting Governor with power of incumbent.

The people of Ekiti soundly reject Fayemi.

Even if the election were to be rerun 10 times over, Fayose would still win.

The only reason APC are desperate to remove Fayose is because he is the only one challenging APC failed change point by point.

Emefiele isn't the problem here. The cbn governor cannot unilaterally devalue the currency and buhari has said he will not devalue it .so the cbn gov is just doing all he can do to rectify a situation which he can't help. There is no economic policy or frame work on ground. The president has spent over 2months out of the 8 months he has been in power outside Nigeria touring all over. The finance minister is a rookie ,and even if she has any wonderful ideas ,she possibly is scared of saying or carrying them out in other not to be seen as been disloyal or too forward. Look at all the ministers non of them is performing, amaechi goes to the airport every morning to take pictures as if that is where is office is. There is something terribly wrong with this government and it seems no body wants to ho beyond a particular boundary or line
The change zombies don't know that Buhari is at minimum, an economic illiterate. But I think , he is also lack the capacity to lead in the 21st century. When it comes to cow business, trust a Fulani man. Unfortunately, we are in a country where born to rule Fulani man is the order of the day.

GEJ is not a bad leader but he was afraid to die because the North want their power back otherwise the country can go into flames , they don't care.

If the country was to be in flames, few thousand almajiris will die and few hundreds in the south but would they care?
CultureRe: Ooni Of Ife Visits Alake Of Egbaland (Photos) by vigasimple(m): 9:11am On Feb 08, 2016
aribisala0:
Why do people like to create unnecessary controversy.

There is no such thing as Hierarchy of Kings in Yorubaland.

The Yoruba mythology about Ife is NOT that Yorubas originated from Ife but MANKIND did , In short Ife is the Yoruba version of "Garden of Eden" It is important to pause and digest this for while.

There never was such a thing as a "Yoruba" Nation as we know it today until around the time of colonialism. Basically you had different nations Ijebu ,Egba Sabe ,Oyo,Ekiti, etc who saw themselves as DIFFERENT and INDEPENDENT nations with similarities in language and custom but no aspiration to one nation. The closest there has been to a hierarchy was under the Oyo Empire. It is important to pay attention to that word EMPIRE . It reflects the relationship between Oyo and its vassals who were forever trying to rid themselves of the yoke. They were DIFFERENT NATIONS. One does not use the word empire for a single people. Now we are in Nigeria and it is convenient to unify bu thee is nothing like king of kings. Empires came and went throughout history and today the main empire is the USA . Queen Elizabeth cannot claim to be Queen of queens
To then say on the basis of a now defunct empire that Oyo has any divine supremacy is like saying once upon a time there was a Roman or a Greek or an Ottoman Empire who has supremacy over others, clearly a ridiculous proposition. Oyo at one time was a dominant military force but by the time the British came Ibadan was the CURRENT champion and Oyo was derelict. Empires owe their supremacy to force but cannot live on past glory.
There never was a Yoruba nation or even an aspiration for such.
Ooni of Ife was a largely irrelevant king for much of "Yoruba" history and in practical terms UNDER Oyo as long as the empire lasted Ooni was never an Alase in Yorubaland as far as any other Oba was concerned
The home of the Yoruba' s worldwide is Ile-Ife and throne of Oduduwa is what the Ooni is occupying. All the other children have gone out of Ife to resettle and the Aalafin and Oyo empire was the hotbed of warfare and the political headquarters of Yoruba's but cannot take away the Aarole from the Ooni. It is like saying, since the Ibadan warriors succeeded in warfare when Oyo failed, then Ibadan is now the head of Yoruba's .

Historically, the was no contest because Oyo empire was respected but the headship was never conceeded as nobody is seriously challenging Ooni the beneficiary of Odua's throne and crown ( Aare). The Ooni still wear the Odua crown till tomorrow. There is no contest.

Loool.

The Ooni is visiting everyone based on the true hierarchy, but the Alake just had to use the opportunity to start another disunity. grin

Why put Oba of Benin there? And who made Egba number 4 on the list? grin

Ooni knows what time it's, hence he visited the big two first. grin
That is not actually true, otherwise, Ooni would have visited Alaafin first, then Oba of Benin. But he started with Ogunsua of Modakeke.

The first 3 oba's he visited was to do with politics. I will say no more. Definitely, Awujale is the longest serving Yoruba monarch as of today, 56 years by April 2016. And the Oba of Benin is indisposed.

The Alaafin is the political head of the Yorubas while the Ooni is the spiritual head. I used to think that the seven sons of Oduduwa were the ranking Obas. Make we dey learn dey go...
That is the correct interpretation.

Whoever is the Ooni of Ife is the Spiritual leader who sit on the throne of Oduduwa.

The political ranking is Alafin, Oba of Benin and others

We are after the unity of Yoruba's and hierarchy is not the concern here.

Opoki:
Because the budget is being funded buy the nation's income, the Nigeria's current economy rested solely on the sales of crude oil which is currently crashing in the world market.

If there is no income to fund the budget, the government will have to borrow!
You are being disingenuous with your answer like Bhuari. If you need 6trillion to fund your budget. And you projected that you will earn 4trillion from your sale and 2trillion shortfall which you want to borrow with lenders..conditions, interests and costs but you then find extra 2trillion somewhere, WHY THE BORROWING?
PoliticsRe: "TSA: We Realised N2.2trn In 3 Months" – Buhari by vigasimple(m): 7:22pm On Feb 07, 2016
plaetton:
Again, the president is either ignorantly misusing words or is being disingenuous.
No monies were " RECOVERED" , because no monies were lost in the first place.

The monies sitting in many different bank accounts were simply RECONCILED and pooled together into one single account with the central bank.

Of course, being too hasty, Buhari is also ignorant of the economic consequences of mopping up N2.2tr from the banking system ( where they earned interests) where they provided much needed lubrication to the economic engine of the country.

The 2.2 tr Naira drain on the banking system automatically hampers banks ability to do their primary function of creating credit for economic expansion.

No wonder our economy is suffering the double whammy of low oil prices and lack of liquidity in the banking and commercial sectors.
This is the most likely scenario BUT Buhari cannot communicate properly and he is making it to look as if they have recovered stolen monies and that is why we are all asking, WHY THE BORROWING then ?

Can we ask the President a simple question.
'If 2.2trillion has truly been recovered under the TSA regime, how come we want to borrow 2.1trillion to fund the budget when this 'new income' isn't reflected in the budget?'
Something is not right somewhere
This is the biggest question the fraudster 'certificateleless corruption fighter' is not answering.

Unfortunately, the zombies like him think they can hoodwink everyone with their propaganda.

Using your own monies is definitely far cheaper than borrowing if truly you have got the money.

The Yoruba citizens must come and postrate to the Ooni rather than him going to see them or they are standing when Ooni arrive or depart.

Europeans are very clever. They wouldn't want to appear rude. They will have copy of the speech before through member's of the press and also have interpreters available pretending it is translation from English to French or German etc

Even majority of honest Nigerians will tell you that they can't make out what the man is saying.

The beginning of corruption is when a man without sound intelligence or communication skills is 'leading' Nigeria in 2016.

GEJ may have many flaws but Buhari is certainly not an improvement on those flaws.

Thank you. That is what APC goverment by propaganda led by a born to rule super clueless guy will continue to do for the next 4 years using whatever failing by the previous goverment as an excuse.

The question for the sai baba brigade is, apart from "fighting corruption' whilst surrounded by corrupt people, what are goverment policies in different sectors of the administration: Economy?, jobs, business , health, education, agriculture etc

Buhari is not a leader but a ruler.
