What Police cannot do... Bees do! We need such policing in Nigeria. |
That's his blood... The jaw says it all. I admire people with powerful gene. If they fine, na added advantage! |
lexy2014:Wallow in your ignorance friend! Is he monitoring elections? He only redesigned and printed money and stopped the usage of old. Please cry me a RIVER! |
lexy2014:You are not an objective person. Did the CBN Governor print voting material or purchase voting machine? Did he disqualify any from contesting election? Did he annul any primaries? Is he monitoring elections? Printing money is within his ambit. Recalling old notes is within his ambit. He didn't do that without the authorization of the President. The CBN Act confers such power on him. My Brother, A New Nigeria is Our General Duty! |
lexy2014:From his side yes! From your side... Yes! We all have a role to play! |
lexy2014:Everyone has a role to play in fighting corruption. Every process is affected positively or negatively by fiscal policies. He understands the power of money as the CBN Governor. |
Why Detention for 60days... This is Politically motivated. Is not far from hindering his influence or policy that would ensure free and fair elections. DSS... Nigerians are wise! |
Modestanewsreel:The woman must be a lazy one, if her compound is so unkept like that. She has a nice accommodation, what will it take her to maintain it? See water licks everywhere! Let's not encourage lazy women! See my house, see my car... You have all of that, and you can't maintain it. There are people seeking for a hut. Entitled Gender and Generation. |
Truvelisback:Baba this comment na for you o! Garri wey dey combine with cold water and milk dey douse tension and stress every close of business. Na una dey form with am... If e no dey house, food no dey house. |

baralatie:Who aided that? How did it get into their hands. This is the question, since morning we have not come to terms with. I said the Commercial Banks Officials are aiding that... Most of you disagreed. Is either the apex bank staff or commercial bank staff helped them get their hands on it. You see the system is being sabotaged. |
baralatie:All we fail to understand is the idea behind the policy. CBN wants to limit physical handling of currency and encourage electronic transaction. So the Cashless policy is geared towards receiving the Old currency (1 billion), which must be credited and held virtually as your financial asset. The 200 million Naira is to be used to encourage few transactions done on a minute scale. CBN is to Commercial Banks what the Commercial Banks are to individuals. So if you returned 1billion old notes and received 200million new notes, it means you have a virtual holding of 800 million and a physical holding (or cash) of 200 million... All na still your money. When you want to make huge transaction like paying for groceries, paying rent, shopping, buying land, buying building materials, paying for furnitures, paying educational fee, do it electronically. Transactions like buying pepper of #50, paying #50-200 t-fare can be done with cash. |
lexy2014:My friend the directive is, don't dispense above a certain amount of the new currency to an individual. Most banks and their officials deal out this new currency to corrupt individuals in exchange for the ill gotten funds. Why then will the new currency not be scarce. |
Nigerian banks are the issue... Bankers have been aiding corruption. Let there be a death sentence in place for people who operate in scale of corruption like this. |
advanceDNA:No I am not, I defend the Faith and refute every false teaching, in hope that he would see light and get closer to Christ. It is given to me by God aid to cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ - 2 Corinthians 10:5. |
Kobojunkie:Although He was God, he took a nature of servant [this was to achieve what he came for, which is to serve righteousness to humanity and deliver them from destruction] And because of this singular act, God has exalted him, that at the mention of His name, every knee must bow [in praise] and every tongue must confess [in adoration] that Jesus Christ is LORD. Read the below with understanding Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11 Christ is not still in the fashion of man... He has risen and is at the right hand of God. So he deserves all praises that is due to Him. |
Obaaderemi2:If you still give most Nigerians 2 years, they would still not make this transition. I kept advising some folks about making this adjustment since last year. All they kept saying is, "is this not Nigeria... E no go happen, they go extend am." Nigerians need tough hand, to sway them to do the right thing. The cost of minting money, the illegal transactions, the inflations calls for this policy. Let's monitor how most of the money (transactions) move electronically. CAD and USD is scarce is because, much isn't printed and in circulation. When a commodity is scarce the value increases. We have made new discoveries... This policy would sanitize our civil service, where these bags are carried and stored at home. One Minister in Nigeria, claimed we owe tax, even when these deductions are being made from our salaries. He refused paying us our consequential adjustments (Minimum wage differential) accumulated since 2019, and pocketed over 2Billion. We have sought for proof of our indebtedness, but none has been offered. He carried away this money in cash and it would rot with him. |
Obaaderemi2:That's not true... We have been shouting digital economy. We must leave the analog way of doing things. Give your ATM card some form of protection. Reserve money in one bank for daily transaction and get ATM for it. Buhari has tried in this one... Crime rate has reduced drastically. Is been a while I heard about kidnapping in my area. |
babyfaceafrica:I have been paying for those with transfer. Best way to go! |
Thank God for Buhari... His last days in office would be the best. He wants to steer this ship in a right direction. Nigeria would be great again. God bless you PMB. |
tungamaje:Use OPAY |
