Here in Nigeria, Frugality is a non existent word...
I have no qualms with folks who decide to spend their money how they want, but these bureaucrats who waste our money , Someone would STEAL from govt coffers and marry tons of wives+concubines, have dozens of vehicles when they can only ride in one at a particular time.
Even employees STEAL their employers money and boldly buy a huge generator for their church with part of it.. undecided

fratermathy I contribute to Google maps, Named a couple of roads and places in Onitsha (Ziks Mausoleum et al) , idemili LGA of Anambra state and the FCT.
it's not a paid affair, I just love doing it, I know someday some tech savvy person would want to use maps, and it feels good knowing that I might have contributed in some way.
There are perks though, Google sends me their apps that are not yet out for the public to test and enjoy.

There's no need for data borrowing since you can borrow call/data credits already, On Etisalat I can buy airtime of N1200 with my money, then borrow N1000 from the network making my balance N2200 (also remember there's a small % they take when u borrow), then i use it to get what I want
