I will try to make it short.
The journey started in early January 2022, I got an unconditional offer from university of Sunderland. I paid my deposit and ran my POF till February but they school wrote me that they couldn’t give me CAS after I called and sent very mails towards the end of February. They didn’t give any tangible reason.

I was disappointed and asked for a refund of my deposit. I was refunded after about 9 weeks but about $400 was missing from the money.
I went to bank and also contacted school but no resolution was reached. After all the back and forth I forfeited the money and started applying to other schools.

I got another offer from about 4 schools for September 2022 batch but I chose university of Derby. I paid the deposit on May 2022 and waiting for CAS. This time Derby disappointed a lot of people including me because of the surge in applications. They gave us option of refund or deferral to January 2023.

Out of anger I asked for a refund. When I calmed down, I decided to opt for the deferral since it was just 3 or 4 months away. So I wrote to them again to ignore the previous refund mail. Thank God I took that decision cos they wrote everyone that they would only give CAS to differed applicants and few new applications It was finally successful at the third attempt after running POF 3 times.

Visa Application - Nov 18
Biometric - Nov 25
No interview
No NSF
Collection mail - Nov 16
Pick up - Nov 16
BRP mail- Nov 18

God is too faithful. I want to encourage anyone still expectant to hold on and believe. It will surely end in praise. We shall all get to Youkay!!

And the question have you been to the UK in the past 10 years comes up, what do I answer?.

I feel its no but please can anyone assist with how to answer it?

Hello guys!

I sent a paid mail to ukvi and they replied that decision has been made on my dependent application but that they can’t disclose the outcome of the decision via email or telephone. I don’t know if I should stop the POF since I already got my own visa and my dependent got her brp mail since 25th November!!

What’s your suggestion guys?

I will really appreciate a swift response!!

From my observation, I noticed majority of applicants make use of IOM for their TB best. What of Qlife and St Nicolas hospital and others.

I really want to drop this here.
It is a personal opinion, and not expected to amount to any disparity or divisions.
You are free to drop a comment, however.

The spate at which UKVI has been refusing tourist visas is becoming very digusting.
More suprising, is the common trend of denying visas for same reason.
In my honest thought, i feel people should just slow down on this Uk for some time.
If you consider the amount of resources that goes into this process, at the end, refusal will be the outcome, applicants will see some validity in my opinion.
If there is too much work load, and ecos do not have time to properly go through documents, before refusing visas, i think people need to begin to shine their eyes.
OR maybe they have streamlined the visa quota for Majorly student visas, because i really can not imagine this.

I wish everyone the very best in their applications, but this is just my personal observation, and should not deter you from trying your luck.
Because, it is what it is now, it is a game of luck.
Even the best applications do not get approved, na God dey run everybody work now.

You will need to pay more school fees.... xchange rate is not friendly right now...God help us all

Guys if you plan applying any time soon, check your POF to make sure it's complete.
Just checked this morning and I'm seeing I have lost N1M and it's not 28 days yet

Just to let you know that after writing an email to the UK Visa service yesterday about my sister's Family Visa application, they said they are still currently being processed and awaiting a decision. Is anyone having same experience ?

Please guys, i just got admission for a Msc program in Poland. I had my Bsc from Benin Republic. Would i still need to go to the MOE/MOF before i go to the Polish embassy
to legalize my documents because its all confusing to me?
For anyone who studied in Benin Republic, if your school ever requests that you bring your degree certificate signed by the Ministry. It means that you have to go to Benin Republic to get this done and you have to know someone or ask from your friends who's graduated and japa already as they will be able to guide you through the process. It takes at least a week to get it done and at most two weeks. It costs money as well don't forget that. (budget 125k-170k depends on who's doing it for you and exchange rate)
If you're asked to bring a letter that shows that your degree was accredited as at the time you graduated, that letter is not as expensive as getting a minstrel stamp and signature but it costs money as well.. (budget 75knaira max. Hopefully exchange rate will favor you)
