RomanceRe: Do You Believe In Public Displays Of Affection? by vilively: 10:34pm On Jul 12, 2012
kandiikane: I don't know how I feel about it.

Eg. Last friday, I went out with my bf to a club. He won't leave my body alone. I mean he doesn't usually do it often, but whenever we go I.e night outs or something he always tends to show too much. I was in two minds about it.

I am thinking it's his vanity and ego, he likes to make sure others see what he's dealing with and owns.

U r soo right....sometimes I even feel like its not that they love u that much....ure just like some trophy they want to tell the world they have...
Sometimes we ladies don't even feel for a guy to the extent that we don't do the whole PDA thing but its all a sign of how into the guy she is

PoliticsRe: Say Something Positive About Nigeria by vilively: 9:28am On Jul 02, 2012
In Nigeria,we have the strongest ability to overcome tragedies and pains....we have the most rare ability to smile thru the difficulties of life..and make a joke out of it.

We have one of the strongest Resilience to hurt, and even death.

And we have a beautiful family setup..that is most times very helpful.

I love Nigeria in its good and bad sides,in its ugly and beautiful ways,it in fight against corruption and in its corrupt ways....I love my country, but I've got to speak the truth that we have a long way to go b4 we get to that place we all wish to b

RomanceRe: Why Are There So Many Single Grown Ladies by vilively: 4:16pm On Jun 28, 2012
duality: because it written in isaiah 4;1
And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach.
^^^ I saw that one coming..

Well.some of them can't be blamed.family responsibilities pushed them to take up work and take it up with all force, that relationships became secondary.

Some of them actually want to remain single ladies, like they see in the foreign and nigerian female celebrities.

Some of them have become very bossy due to their kind of work and financiAl status that its hard to kip them in the house..

Some have had too many breAkups and they r afraid to enter another relationship

Some are well behaved that didn't get the opportunity to date ontime...now its hard to even find the men.

And so on,but u can't call all the women not married above the age of 25.....'Chaff'.that is wrong.

ola_boy: At first it was so difficult to grasp this topic in-depth, but reading comments from other people here cleared things up.

I really respect Vilivey's comment and openness below

"None...but the question is how many have I kept without sex?once agAin None.sex can never b a derterminant.u will be fooled to think intimacy will keep him or without it will prove to him u r modest.
Damn it aLl he will find open legs anywhere,if he wants to. The truth is if its meant to be...with or without sex,he will stay because he sees something worth staying for. And this also apply to we ladies.

And pls can we drop that 90day stuff.its just un- realistic.what if after ninety days u sleep with him and the ninety-first day he leaves...so much for the long wAit.huh?
Its always has to be what WE want"

When I get married, then ill answer that question for u
Coz when u say the right guy u mean a husband practically. A boyfriend will be a boyfriend and until he becomes a husband...u never know if he is the right guy.

sosoluv: If every man expects his woman to be faithful and loyal why should you be the one who allows him to do otherwise with you?
Girl ,lay ur 90day rule on the tAble..and he will b sleeping with other girls till u r ready.
Lay ur 90day rule on the table, and he will wait like a man.
Lay your 90day rule on the table, and the 91st day he is gone...
Lay it on the table and after A year u break up.
Lay it on the table and after 2mnths u both get married

IT HAS NOTHING to the number of days u make him wait for sex...its the number of days u make him see that u r worth the wait..

NO WOMAN wants her MAN to cheat on her..NO WOmAN will have it.

sosoluv: I totally get u but I jus wanna know if u found a real man without any guidelines...a guy who still loves u crazy without the sexhuh
Not guidelines from a book tho.. I tried it once,he found out I was going tru books and he walked out the front door..literally speaking.
But the fact its not a bad thing, at all,it shldnt just become us.
As for the sex....that question is an overstatement for the kind of guys in this country and generation.I can't speak for other countries...even they(the guys) don't believe they can love a girl like crazy without the sex these days, even if we can do it.they just dont

sosoluv: Steve harvey's book 'act like a lady, think like a man'
Let's make it easier if pple don't understand free-spirited they should consult a dictionary before putting a comment....
A girl who has standards has certain qualities she expects a man to have, she has certain expectations from her relationships,,,she does things in a formal manner,,, she doesn't compromise with certain things,,,
As gals we both know that either ways don't work..a little of both works mosttimes. but I'm just surprised at the number of guys that prefer gals with standards...but its a good thing
But do u hoNestly believe that steve Harvey book....I hate having to read bOoks that forces me to accept that this is how I am as a lady.makes things just complicated for us all.gals don't get to discover themselves truly coz they stick to what's in those type of books.....but HEY!!!its just a book right
RomanceRe: awper by vilively: 8:10pm On Jun 24, 2012
I hope y'all are being honest coz its usually not the case in the real world..they r always shoving the whole idea of being free spirited and open down our throats....its all good tho

But the topic isn't being very clear eithr...u r depicting. Free spirited gals as selfish and gals with standards as Rigid..and pls which movie did u get the whole 90day rule from.
RomanceRe: awper by vilively: 8:05pm On Jun 24, 2012
B4 I used to think that it was only girls that sed something with the intention of meaning another thing.....but from what I see....Guys like gals with standards morehuhwow..where did that come from.

What about the thousands of baby industries situated in Abia and other ibo towns ? IBOS. ARE NOT WORTHY TO BE CALLED NIGERIANS..No wonder they are the highest in foreign prisons.
If I were u ill take back that statement highlighted..evr heard of 'let he who is without sin.....' Complete it if u can and if u can get someone to tell u.U have no right to say that...wether u r a better nigerian or not...if we do what is right everybody will claim 'ah nA naija boy,na naija gal' but if we do wrong we r not worthy to be nigerians...bloody hypocrite...we never even wanted to b called nigerians in the first place,we are condemned for trying to seperate now we r condemned for beAring the nAme...its a pity
I HATE nigerians sometimes for their hypocrsy.its sickening.
What's mAkes u better.what makes ur tribe better...don't u do wrong things as bad as other ppl.who r u to make such statement.

When an issue like this comes up...and somppl only take note of the tribe,in this day and age, then its just sad that the intelligence of many have so fallen below Average....but right I doubt if it was ever up to Average. This country is in trouble with ppl like this in our midst.

As for the woman I hope those kids never see her again.they deserve better. How much can u get.how long will it last and the kids r gone forever and you will b stuck.na wa

jmaine: I also mused about your post as well . . .imagining the scenario when it Started dropping from that height to where the struggle of the plane became visible to Iju inhabitants . . .Am sure some people died before the actual crash cos of shock and fear . . . . cry
Hey!I lost a friend on the plane....I still try to picture what he felt.was he trying to be a man for the young lady sitting beside him or the little child crying beside him.Was he scared to death...did he cry?the thot never goes away. We will get thru this. And the souls lost wiLl rest in peace.Amen
TravelRe: Eye-Witness Account Of DANA Plane Crash: Like A Movie by vilively: 4:57am On Jun 06, 2012
Jiah011: Planes are not built as helicopters where one can just jump out. So parachutes and such items wouldn't work. And generally to do such things, one needs training on how to do so properly. Think of the children and babies on the flights, even the elderly. Parachutes and jumping would not be an option for them. There are many safety concerns with parachutes too. Even the safety equipment on board commercial planes are generally for crash landing over water. With an experienced pilot, a crash landing over water can be done without loss of life, given the type of problem the plane is having and such a landing is possible. However, over land, crash landing is often a tragedy, simply because of the harshness of impact.

My heart is hurting for those that lost their lives. What hurts so much is that there were warnings that this plane was bad and shouldn't have flown out. These lives could have been saved. But seeing as how bad the aviation industry is in Nigeria and from other accounts, its a wonder that there are no accidents daily. May God help us out of our habitual stupor and show us the way forward. If anything, so that these who perished would not have died in vain.
But I always wondered when. U board a plane b4 it takes off, there is procedure the crew on board guide the passengers thru on safety exits, life jackets and all.is it that those that made planes only expected the planes to land in water in cases of accidents....there has to be some kind of reform made to the world avaition industry..if there is something like that

safarigirl: Proper advantages now. Everyone finds you portable. Rarely got body odours cos we don't sweat. Celebs like em small and portable. Wardrobe malfunctions are rare. Flexibility means good dancing skills (most of the time). We look good in lingerie. Wedding Night's gonna be awesome! And most slim gurls look elegant and classy.
