Go to the airline website to check and not just truly on the resellers like Wakanow and the likes.
There are great deals out there.

I learnt this late, hurrying for flight isn't a good idea, take your time and check on the airline website itself and not just the resellers website.

Just plan ahead and you'll be fine.

You should call them and complain, I don't know the effect of that sorry.

I finally aborted the plan, it's not making sense. Searches will show you one thing and attempt to book, you'll be seeing increased fares. BS.

Stick with wakanow, keep refreshing every few mins if you can afford to, you'll get lucky. Just make sure you're searching for next day flight. My wife got for herself eventually even when we're searching at the same time, but the UK IP possibly hindered me from getting the deal. She got Egyptair 803,239 for tomorrow's flight.

I think the whole CHEAP cotonou to London flight is overrated right now. Here are my discoveries...

2 stops
over 30hours
self transfer
requiring transit visa

if you add all of the above together + uber cost from lagos down there
it's already more than 843k from wakanow with just 24-41hours as the only hassle.
even the wakanow, requires schengen transit visa

NOTE!!!! It’s just an OBSERVATION and it worked for me

Get your luggages arranged/ready and search for next day flights. You will get one with a very low price. If you live in any of the States that has an International airport, you can also try same day flights. I noticed air fares tend to drop 10 to 35 hours before departure due to last minute cancellations and some other unknown factors (Like i said before, my observation)

I got a next day flight for N512,000 which ordinarily was almost 3 times that amount. Good enough, it had just an hour stop. Got to The UK some days back

Try your luck and see. Just hope this helps someone
