I really do not see any reason why you should "feel sorry for" me. I never said doctors are all-knowing. But now that u have explained the context of your post, u are entitled to your opinion.
You will readily agree with me that there are "silent killers"- as far as diseases go - such as hypertension and allied ailments.
I also disagree with you that you should not visit a doc if u feel 10/10 healthy. How many times have we heard of seemingly healthy people (who must have been feeling healthy) slump and die?

On the other hand, I have personally worried myself sick a couple of times in the past, believing I have some kind of sickness only for me to get to the hospital and the doctor finds out it's nothing to worry about.

I used the words 'truthfully' and 'effectively' in my earlier post to underscore the need for unbiased and objective assessment.

Feeling alone can sometimes be deceptive. That's the point I'm trying to make.

How can u truthfully and effectively rate ur own health? A doctor should do that after a comprehensive check on u

The real problem here is not whether the woman can cook better if taught or not. The real issue is that the woman is a stubborn, obstinate one who doesnt see anything wrong with what she does.

Please dont get me wrong, I am not saying you should leave your home. All I am saying is that you should find ways to fend for yourself and take care of the bare necessities, e.g personal hygine, clothes, entertainment, niceties for baby. Try to make your home as pleasant as possible, when he's away invite family and friends for dinner/lunch and cook up a storm.
