@oyinda
I really do not see any reason why you should "feel sorry for" me. I never said doctors are all-knowing. But now that u have explained the context of your post, u are entitled to your opinion.
You will readily agree with me that there are "silent killers"- as far as diseases go - such as hypertension and allied ailments.
I also disagree with you that you should not visit a doc if u feel 10/10 healthy. How many times have we heard of seemingly healthy people (who must have been feeling healthy) slump and die?

On the other hand, I have personally worried myself sick a couple of times in the past, believing I have some kind of sickness only for me to get to the hospital and the doctor finds out it's nothing to worry about.

I used the words 'truthfully' and 'effectively' in my earlier post to underscore the need for unbiased and objective assessment.

Feeling alone can sometimes be deceptive. That's the point I'm trying to make.

How can u truthfully and effectively rate ur own health? A doctor should do that after a comprehensive check on u

Family / Re: My Wife Is A Lousy Cook by VIPICO(m): 12:44pm On Dec 06, 2010
The real problem here is not whether the woman can cook better if taught or not. The real issue is that the woman is a stubborn, obstinate one who doesnt see anything wrong with what she does.

I'm sure she readily pick an argument with the husband whenever he tries to correct her. So how do u teach that kind of person

Phones / If You Own Nokia E72, Click Here by VIPICO(m): 3:01pm On Nov 19, 2010
All Nokia E72 users, lets "rub minds". I find this phone an exellent business machine. It beats E71 to the fact that, among other things, I can conveniently edit my Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word documents without hassles.
Why should I pay 5000 naira monthly as a blacberry user when I have my E72 that does the same thing BB does?

Food / Re: .:. Why Do Nigerians Avoid Cooking Gas? .:. by VIPICO(m): 5:29pm On Apr 17, 2010
@axeman85,
No doubt we ocassionally hear about a fire inferno caused by careless use of cooking gas in homes but if we want to be sincere to ourselves, I'm sure the ratio at which that happens compared to kerosene explosion in this country is like 1:10

Na the same people! Politrickers! We need to employ Hitler's extermination method over atleast 100 political rogues in this country before they leave us alone.If we can set example with 5,others will go into exile then we can achieve our dreams of a prosperous Nigeria.

My point exactly. Until we all sum up courage to do this, this country will never change for the better
Family / Re: The Kind Of Husband I Have by VIPICO(m): 7:01pm On Mar 13, 2010
SA Lady:

Please dont get me wrong, I am not saying you should leave your home. All I am saying is that you should find ways to fend for yourself and take care of the bare necessities, e.g personal hygine, clothes, entertainment, niceties for baby. I'll tell you what, they say the best way to get back at adversity is to kill it with kindness.
This would be your chance to treat your husband in a way that he has never treated you before, like buy him nice things when you start making that money it will eat at his conscience.

Try to make your home as pleasant as possible, when he's away invite family and friends for dinner/lunch and cook up a storm. Make sure that everytime hubby sees you you are always smiling and laughing a LOT. This will make him start asking himself why is he being such a mean person. If nothing changes then I rest my case.

You got the formula, baby. You got it.!! I am a man so I should know what am talking about to confirm to you that unless that man is incorrigibly irresponsible, he is sure to melt when a woman does what you just recommended instead of the infamous nagging
