Insalling a custom rom on my galaxy tab p3100 and iT has been failing. I have recovery.tar.md5 flashed with odin and but installing from sd card keeps failing. Due to this I have flashed stock rom and even done factory reset but it keeps failing.
What can I do about this?

Make sure u install it from external sdcard. I'mhaving having problem with mine too until I install it from external sdcard and it install fine. Now using 4.2.2 but is draining battery faster o

I did a factory reset but I am not so sure on what is involved in updating the firmware. I actually thought it meant to update the software which I have been using for a while. Its android 4.2.2.

Please, can someone explain what I can do to update my firmware. Also, please, has anyone experienced this problem before? Is there any contrary opinion?
