Thanks Canadianfly. All points noted but for the first question, there is a place to include the uci number as well as the PR file number.

Canadianfly:

1)I don't know about file number but I believe what it's asking is for that UCI number of your previous file. I had to fill mine too, though it was a UCI number for my work permit but I believe it's asking if you have ever applied to IRCC at anytime. Then the UCI number. Do put in the one they wrote in pencil, should be like 8 numbers.

2) I no get Canadian pikin. Na America I know grin

3) You don't need Naija passport. That is not what determines the baby is also Nigerian. You being Nigerian is what makes the baby Nigerian because Nigeria does citizenship by parent. And why fill Ningerian and have your profile calculate fee for the pikin? Abeg go Canadian all the way. My thoughts.

Thanks ajiifixing. I've checked the mail, there was no such number. The only details on the far right ofthe mail is their address.

ajiifixing:

Bwahahahah. The fear of the ''Badt gang'' is the beginning of not mentioning names. grin grin

I can only tackle below question:

1) I applied in 2014 for permanent residency through the paper based application, but was returned that my NOC has capped, and they wrote my UCI number in pencil on my form. Now I'm being asked if I have applied for PR before and I answered yes, and they asked for my PR file number and I dont have any such number, and the form keep showing incomplete without the PR file number. What should I do?

I had a File number too .It was written in the mail they sent to you at that time your prior application was returned. Mine starts with B0 followed by numbers with [SW1] in bracket at the end. e.g. B056761222[SW1].
If you check the top right part of the letter sent by CIC to you ,you should find it there.

2) I have a Canadian pikin, will he go through medicals as well? Modified: - He didn't need medicals

3) This same Canadian pikin does not have Nigerian Passport yet, but I stated that he is a Nigerian citizen as well, do I need to do a Nigerian passport for the sake of this application?

Thanks all for your anticipated responses.

I have responded. What campus did you finish from because they process transcripts separately. Okija or Elele?

Thanks, I appreciate.

40manlappy:

You don't need a gift deed for POF that is coming from your spouse. A letter from your spouse/LOE should do...

As stated on page 0, POF is even allowed in your spouse's name provided you can prove that you have access to it.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Virt: 4:03pm On Oct 03, 2017
Thanks dear.

Please is anyone seconding this? I just want to sure of the step to take now.

closetextrovert:

He doesnt need to give you a gift deed. He just needs to write a letter stating that he made the funds available to you for the PR application and attach proof of transfer i.e statement showing the transfer from his account to yours. He just needs to attach that day's statement.

Sorry dear, I'm reading backlog today.

Please PM for the guy's contacts. I cant put it here.

Olisedinma:
@ Virt. Thank God that you scaled through Madonna and WES. I have 2 questions. 1. Can I get your contact person's info, as i'm about to start my ECA process with WES. 2. Did your contact still do the needful and follow up till verification or did u have to go there yourself to sort things out? Tnx in advance.

Hello I need help here.

My spouse transferred a lump sum to my account for the purpose of the application, do I need him to give me a gift deed for it or just explain in the letter of explanation.

If yes, does gift deed need to be notarized?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Virt: 11:34am On Oct 03, 2017
Yes. sorry for the late response.

belushi7:

Was your WES scheduled for completion today? My friend's own had completion date for today 29/9/17 and she is yet to receive any result from WES.

Anyone with such WES experience?

TTTTTolu:

Category?
3. Is there any link to help with this?

Thanks guys. I will give a summary of my application soon. Alot of things i was worried about that ended up not being issues
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Virt: 10:49am On Sep 26, 2017
The answers to most of your questions are on page 0. Can you just read through that page and then revert for any further questions.

Mavor:
Guys please I need your advise. So I'm new to this Canada immigration thing. I have already applied via WES for a Transcript & B.SC certificate review. I have already paid WES and my school has sent the transcript and a copy of my cert. I have IELTS scheduled for 14th Oct.

My question to you all is this; (1) What next should I do? What are the next steps in the process? How do I initiate the actual application process with Immigration Canada? Note that I am doing this on my own without using any immigration lawyer or 3rd party. (2) How long does it take WES to do and complete their evaluation? Also please explain some of the lingua I see on this thread - ITA, AOR, CSE, CIC, PPR, etc.

Thanks.

Point taken. Thanks.

Ehrnie:

Hi - my advise: If the valid passport has no stamps on it and your spouse has travel history with relating stamps on the old passport, I will advise you scan pages of the old passport and submit that too. You only need pages that have visa markings and stamps.

This is what I would do ......better safe than sorry.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Virt: 3:51pm On Sep 19, 2017
Okay thanks.

Algbenguze:

Only the current passport is needed. They have their ways of verifying any other info they want about your travel history.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Virt: 1:57pm On Sep 19, 2017
Please do we include old passports with stamps and visas or only valid passports. My spouse's valid passport has no stamps but the old passport has visas and stamps.

Thanks for your response in advance.

I thought they said it has to be PCC from Alagbon only. Did you get yours at Moscow road?

cochtrane:

Yes you can. There's a police headquarters on Moscow Road. Waltz in there, flash some currency and you'll have a handful police officers at your service. smiley

I have sent a private message on twitter, but they referred me back the same online customer service form. Is there another way on twitter I can get their attention.

Though I have done as Canadianfly suggested faxing them, but I wont mind exploring all options now grin

boldinc:
Try Twitter...

Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Virt: 3:15pm On Sep 07, 2017
Thanks, I'll try that now.

Canadianfly:

I was stuck like you on how to contact them, and what I did was type in "contact WES" in the forum search button. I saw a post by someone suggesting fax. He had called and emailed WES to no end, so he typed out his complaints on MSWord including his name and reference number, then faxed it via hellofax to them. His status changed in less than 24 hours. I did the same thing he did. Typed out my grievances and rants grin and faxed to them. Status was updated that night.

Case closed grin
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Virt: 2:05pm On Sep 07, 2017
Please how can I contact WES other than the usual online customer service form as they rarely respond to it. It's been a week since my University responded to the email verification and WES has still not acknowledged it by updating my account. My account status still shows "on hold".

Thanks for your anticipated assistance.

Yes you are fine with just your marriage cert and newspaper publication. Also ensure you upload your degree certificate alongside the ECA or your application is rejected as incomplete.

CIC requires your ECA report AND Certificates you claim points for... Your application would be regarded as incomplete and rejected.

Okay, thanks @MummyJaygirls.

Eca is not all that's required, you are to attach ur cert too, its transcript that's not required.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Virt: 11:01am On Aug 08, 2017
I just have marriage certificate and newspaper publication. I believe I will be fine, because swearing affidavit now after many years of marriage/change of name may just appear somehow.

freeradical:
I do not think this is entirely correct. For my spouse I just uploaded marriage certificate and newspaper publication as evidence for her change of name and now we have our PPR
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Virt: 10:51am On Aug 08, 2017
I think your ECA report is all CIC requires, that's why they requested that we assess our credentials with those approved agencies. I doubt they'll need to see your certificates again to process your application.

cochtrane:

I tried to look into your question.

From what I can gather, CIC simply wants you to provide an ECA. Typically, this should be sufficient since it already proves that your education is equivalent to a Canadian degree. Chikena!

However, people go ahead to add certificates, statements of result and sometimes transcript to the application. Which isn't bad, but in real sense just superfluous.

I may be wrong sha. But if you don't have the certificate, there's not much you can do. You should go ahead and submit the statement of result. I believe you'll fine. WES after all accepted same without raising an eyebrow.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Virt: 10:31am On Aug 08, 2017
@Canadafly, I must say your posts so far have been appalling.

As you have presented yourself so far, it appears you should not need help from these wonderful group of people, since CIC website has been as explicit as they can be. Like someone else has rightly pointed out, since I joined this thread I have not seen condescending comments such as yours.

For this group to continue as a family, that it has always been, you may just want to stop posting here and send your questions directly to CIC, I believer they will answer your numerous questions nicely.

Please lets revert to status quo - One Naija Family...Cheers

Canadianfly:

What are you on about

Please show me where on CIC site it requires you to be present for pcc? Why does their website give options for people who live there and people who live outside the supposed country? And please do me the honour of showing me where I advised her to do gift deed. In case you forgot, my post was me laughing at someone else's response. In fact eh.... Are you okay at all or you have a fever

Hmmm , its well. I cant afford to go to that school o.

I just hopes he is not being fraudulent. I'll update here once completed.

DereI:

I'm sorry to say the delay might not be from the school but from the person you sent money to for the processing. Same happened to me. Please note, ''i might be wrong'' but you need to find out directly from the Exam and Records office if your transcript has been requested...probably send someone else to make the enquiry for you.

In my case, the person simply ate the money and gave me several excuses accusing the school of the delay. I had to go there myself and found out no request was made.

Wish you the best

My dear, I am still waiting for Madonna to send the transcript after 2 weeks of application. Not funny at all.

I have a contact person in the school who I paid to help me process the transcript. I expect him to send me the tracking number once the school have couriered it. I just hate the wait plus the expected 20 business days wait with WES. God dey.

You can PM me for the contact of the person if you don't intend going to the school. By the way, which campus did you graduate from, because it is not processed centrally, its per campus.
