Thanksful: Try to leave your room small and travel.
No state in Nigeria including Lagos has more small scale industry than Anambra State.
No state where you can get any locally manufactured machinery in Nigeria beside Anambra wake up bro! |

erico2k2: would U build a house where block bears the weight? We had this topic discussed here in full details by Civil Engineers here apyider/abdi Brabus etc back in 2015.Bricks as relevant to strength of ur house ais almost irrelevant as U can just use glass. yea a storey building can still be built with walls bearing some weight eg a litel sitting directly on the wall, saves cost. |

sonnie10: What do say about those houses in Lagos that they do the framework first, both downstairs and upstairs without any blocks, later they would use any size blocks to do the partitioning. What weight bearing support do the blocks provide in that case?
Blocks contribute very negligible weight bearing effect in a duplex. The framework does. that case is different, the columns are 225mm in size and the blocks are non-load bearing but in case where the blocks bears most of the weights in residential buildings done on budget and mostly non-engineered it's very wrong to use 6inch blocks. You are viewing with your eyes and think of the weight coming downwards however in Structural point of view we are also considering the wind loads, ground movements, active and passive forces on the foundation, the granular materials surrounding the building substructure. Those actions threaten a building stability more. |

erico2k2: 6 inches Solid so you made use of 6inches blocks for a building this tall, you aren't concerned about the slenderness ratio . That's an un-calculated risk just pray the soil properties remains unchanged for a long time. |

Beta male see this one, I have been their number one fan, I always admired his views and the way he spoke up against the system. Nothing I don't know about the Tate's but they went too far on this one. Hate women all you want but fact still remain they gave birth to every single one of us and a crime against them won't go unpunished. |

Tate is in for a very long ride. The money got into his head and started to think he's above the law. I agree with alot of his views on gender issues but this, nah I'm not in support no of it. I watched a clip of Tristan assaulting and coercing a girl into doing a content. It's very very wrong |

Rany4all: Blocks also come in fixed shape and sizes, but only laid pcs are paid for as long the agreement is per block. Whatever project you are doing, as long as the payment terms is per square meter, it doesn't matter how much materials eventually does the work or how much wastes. The payment remains per square meter of area done. Same goes for tiling, POP, wall cladding, etc, etc. don't be too strick like that or artisans will mess you up oh. painful part is no matter what u do damage is done and That's why on foundation level you don't pay per block. |

sonnie10: Labor charge is not just the amount required for nailing the tiles on the wood. There are other logistics. Did the installer give the labor charge as per square on the original quote or was it a ball pack? Go back and look at the quote, if there is no place something like below was stated
AB amount by 125sqm = x amount
Then, pay him the complete money. He might have charged just by eye balling. regular W |

Alusiizizi: 200 years Many western nations plan to legislate ICE(Internal Combustion Engine) vehicles out of production by 2030, that's less than 7 years from now. Additionally, electric cars are now competitive against ICE cars in terms of horse power and mileage per recharge, add all this to the fact that very active research is being conducted not only to increase the specific energy of electric car batteries(for example, an aluminum based battery would theoretically store 3 times more energy than a lithium battery, the only problem is that a practical way to recharge aluminum batteries doesn't exist currently) but to decrease the charge time and it's not far-fetched to expect a complete phase-out of ICE cars within this decade. all these analysis are just on paper bro, realistically Teslas are terrible with battery needing replacement in less than 3-4years so that means buying a second hand Tesla isn't an option. Google raw materials needed for batteries, it's aven more dangerous thank fosil fuel polution they are trying to cub. Not to mention the other needs for oil. Gas, butimen which is the most important element in road construction is from crude oil which can't be replaced at anytime due to its cost compared to cement roads. Electricity is becoming even more expensive to generate lately the reason for high bills even at the West. The same electric cars per charge is $10-$12 per charge for just a couple of mileage. Batteries especially litium dies after about 1000circles of charge how long does that translates to per year lest assume you don't go for any long travels. Electrical cars are the future but for now they are not completely reliable |

The lands were fought for and secured by their forefathers and the forefathers wanted such enjoyment for this descendants. THAT'S A SYSTEM THAT WORKS! we over there, all the sufferings of our heroes past has clearly be in vain sorry to say. |

Wilson500: They're not prudent in their spending They're just lucky to have a small population The side effect will become evident when crude oil loses relevance crude oil isn't loosing relevance even in 200years to come. Electrical cars are a joke, solar power supply is inconsiderably low compared to word energy demand. The minerals used in batteries and other stuffs are even more expensive and far more dangerous to mine so bro arabs will be on top as long as they are friends with USA |
