On the surface with the help of certain propaganda outlets, Putin is being painted as evil by the West. However in light of what the American's consider stabilizing a foreign government, such as Libya, or Iraq. Putin is perfectly reasonable to not want the American's stabilizing a neighboring country, and that such a Iraq / Libya style stabilization program could be considered at least as much a threat as the missiles were in Cuba. Putin wouldn't be out of line if he considered it his humanitarian duty to save all Ukrainians from becoming the next Libya or Iraq.

It's practically impossible to organize standard clinical trials with Ebola because it's a virus (as opposed to bacteria) and it kills so fast that you don't have time to recruit patients. Also, there are ethical considerations - you cannot administer placebo to some while giving potential life saver to others. Logically, antibodies are helping against viruses that are not integrate into DNA. Enough statistics can be gathered to assess effectiveness of 2 mentioned treatments, ZMapp and a a blood transfusion from survivors, if only these treatments could've been available in abundance. I would bet on the latter to be more accessible.

A young mother has committed suicide by walking in front of a semi-trailer the same day her 14-month-old son mysteriously died at their home, authorities said.

Police in Canton, Ohio, discovered little Omoyele Gonzalez dead in a bed at the property in the 1600 block of 10th Street just after 7.30 p.m. Thursday. He had no obvious injuries and a subsequent autopsy has proved inconclusive.

Officers were called to the home because the child's mother, Kayelisa Martin, 20, was threatening suicide, according to a Canton police press release. Around the same time, a family member went to the nearby Canton Fire Station No. 7 to report that the toddler was dead.

When law enforcement arrived, however, Martin wasn't there. They tried to locate her, but soon received word that the devastated mother had died in a traffic incident in nearby Summit County.

According to the press release, Martin 'committed suicide by walking in front of a moving vehicle on I-77 at Milepost 115,' near Akron-Canton Airport.

A Summit County sheriff's office release states that she was struck when she stepped in front of a semi-trailer.

The northbound lanes were closed for about four hours after the tragic incident and traffic was detoured around the scene.

Stark County Coroner's office conducted an autopsy on the toddler Saturday and results released Monday offered little insight into how the adorable toddler died.
'Preliminary autopsy findings showed that the child did not die of any trauma,' coroner P.S. Murthy said in a statement.

The office is awaiting toxicology results but confirmed X-rays showed there had been no recent or past abuse, nor did Omoyele die from injuries consistent with a fall or from an infection.

The child's father does not live at the home. Police said they have interviewed him and they don't believe he was involved.

Gary Guenther, investigator for the Summit County Medical Examiner's Office, said Friday that Martin's autopsy showed she died of 'blunt force trauma to the head and torso.'
He said she was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the Canton Repository, the child and his mother were involved in a car crash earlier Thursday in Canal Fulton, though its unclear if it has any relevance to their later deaths.

The crash occurred at 6:35 a.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of Locust Street, according to a crash report released Friday by Canal Fulton police.

Martin told police she lost control of her black 2007 Nissan Maxima when the wheel started to shake and she couldn't stop, the report said.

The car went up over a curb, struck a fire hydrant, hit shrubs and landscaping rocks in two separate yards and then traveled across a parking lot before coming to a stop.
The mother was cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control, according to the Repository.

The family have set up a fundraising page to pay for the mother and baby's funeral services.

Isn't it a Liberian American who brought Ebola to Nigeria? Then Obama should consider sending it to Nigeria. What is good for Liberia and American doctors should be good for Nigerian doctors.

Muscle flexing in this way is show of bravado for consumption by the Russian people to get them behind Putin. All it will take is one miscalculation, just one misstep and we will have a war on our hands. All it will take is for the Russian planes and US planes engaged in this cat and mouse game to have a mid-air collision, causing a release of a nuclear weapon or loss of an aircraft and it will be game on. Let us all pray that the testosterone levels drop soon and all of these so call leaders give some rational thought to what is at stake here. The people of the world deserve better.

What a season of virus.

For me i think the safest bet here is for various African government to provide adequate facility and sanitary equipment necessary to prevent spread. Making containment more effective, as it would be in developed countries, it is probably a safer strategy than the widespread use of untested drugs. My 2cents.

BoboYekini: It isn't so far fetched to conclude that the elite( not neccessarily 'the Americans') want to kill off the masses in swarms. Through the ages, it's been a viable means of population control. To check local population, use wars( vietnam, the gulf wars, Afghanistan). To check third world populations, use engineered diseases (Ebola, certain strains of malaria, HIV, HPV,sickle cell anaemia) and induced civil wars, famine etc.
Nobody has all the facts, but it's safe to say they're out to get us.

Funding war in third world countries by funding rebel groups, insurgency, religious groups, coups, that i will agree. But Deliberately infecting a whole continent with Ebola, i don't think so. That will be callous, cuz even the doctors who are at the fore front of giving Medicare to Ebola victims in Africa irrespective of the risk and danger involved are Americans themselves. So, it will be counter-productive to their supposedly plot to deliberately infect us with Ebola, cuz their doctors are at the frontline...
