my people, see this picture written ‪#‎FREEDOMFIGHTERS‬, there is another one called ‪#‎OHMPA‬ by onitsha south/North yourths, here in Anambra state, they use this emblem with Biafran flag and axe as logo to force companies, big motorists and shop owners to pay them N50, 000 .00 or their properties will be destroyed, i just want to know if this is legal in IPOB or Biafra freedom fighting, does our leaders know about this,? If not it should be stopped because our leader ‪#‎Nnamdikanu‬ didnt teach us to swindle people using Biafra name. I hope our deputy leader will talk on this on our Radio.

With the good number of Emergency management and health care services in Lagos... An accident happened on Ikorodu road between Obanikoro and Anthony at about 6am...the victims are bleeding and even the driver is trapped in the truck....calls have been placed to different emergency and health care service providers, this is an hour plus... None of them have showed up..... It is well!

The family of late Ibrahim Momodu, friends, family lawyer and some civil rights activists addressed the press on 27th of January, 2016 at Barrister Jefferson Uwoghiren's chamber sequel to the landmark judgement of Justice R Ifijeh of Criminal Court 4, Edo state High Court which sentenced Corporal Amadin Idahosa to life imprisonment where they demand as follows:

1. The immediate arrest, dismissal, investigation and prosecution of CSP Carol Onyeka Afegbai, the then DPO of Ogida Police Station who from evidence before tyhe honourable court ordered the senseless and malicious murder of Ibrahim momodu. A petition has been forwarded to the Inspector General of police in that respect.

2. That the body of Late Ibrahim Momodu should be released by the police to the family for final burial as a complete hero.

3. That Edo State Government decision to appeal the man slaughter conviction and the demand for capital punishment is commendable , as the murder was intentional and premeditated.

4. That the personal items belonging to Ibrahim Momodu that was stolen by the police who killed him be released to the family in accordance to the order of court.
5. That the police should as a matter of urgency tendered an unreserved apology and full compensation to the family of slain Ibrahim Momodu.

We say caboodle rejectamenta to extra judicial killings of our youths by the police. Uhuru is achievable.

I am that Biafran locked up in DSS custody for 98 days without trial

Firstly, I wish to thank this honorable parliament, representatives of member nations and all her leaders. On the defense of rule of law and human right this parliament thrived. The making of a better world where mankind shall be free, easy life and prosperous world had been the banner of this parliament and never shall diplomacy or any form of tie cause a deviation or severe the cause of this great parliament.

I am a Biafran, I am that Biafran locked up in Buhari’s DSS dungeon for 98 days without trial, given inhuman treatments, tortured and abused. I am that Biafran competent courts of jurisdiction freed but Buhari by his powers held me illegally. I am that Biafran that left his wife suffers the pains of child birth alone. I am that Biafran his newly delivered wife is still having emotional trauma and mental torture of losing her husband to time or death.

I am that Biafran that never killed a man or man killed for me

I am that Biafran this parliament gave right to agitate for freedom, UN charter told to demand for freedom, Nigerian constitution also told to agitate for Biafra, when I did what the law said I should do, I was thrown into the prison without asking me what I want or how my want can be addressed. I am that Biafran that never killed a man or man killed for me, that Biafran that only stood a radio station as a weapon to fight for freedom, that Biafran that cherished freedom of speech, that Biafran that is persecuted because of truth. I am Nnamdi Kanu that Biafran Nigerian government under Buhari unlawfully oppressed.

I am that Biafran his 7 years old child was shot to death in Aba, that Biafran his brothers and sisters were massacred in Onitsha. I am that Biafran his people were again massacred in Aba, that Biafran his people are being kidnapped, extra-judiciary killed and illegally imprisoned by Buhari. I am that Biafran who Buhari illegally ordered soldiers of Gowon to invade my land and slaughter my children, sisters, brothers, fathers and mothers in their millions in 1967. I am that Biafran his people are being marginalized, subjugated and enslaved just because they fought a war and lost, instead of healing and forgiving us, they chose to keep punishing us.

Biafrans are losing their lives for lawfully asking a legal course

Before Buhari addresses this honorable parliament, let him be assessed and subjected to scrutiny, that he may not infect this honorable parliament with dishonor, lawlessness and primitive tendencies. Under his words, over 1000 innocent men and women lost their lives because of his political ambition in 2011 and today more Biafrans are losing their lives for lawfully asking a legal course.

This parliament having warned of human right abuses by Nigeria, Buhari has gone on without discretion in handling of call for Biafran independence which fully contradicts the ethics of this honorable parliament, hence I call for a discrete advise or compel him to respect human life and do the needful- referendum for Biafra and release his prisoner of conscience or a political prison without odds or record of unlawful act.

We are Biafrans condemned by Nigerian government

The treatment of Kanu represents how Biafrans are treated in Nigeria, we are Biafrans, condemned by Nigerian government and deprived of right to live, speech, belong, freedom and thrive. Even-though our land feed the country, our land is marginalized as diseases, contaminated land, bad roads, lack of infrastructure and social amenities bedevil us as virtually removed from federation. This federal absence left our land in decay that we today seek freedom to have a nation to call a home and enjoy human right which gives meaning to life. Congrats Once Again sir

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that the Judiciary is the only hope of the country, if the judiciary crumbles the nation is gone.

Speaking when the National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, led by the Acting National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus paid him a congratulatory visit on Thursday at the Government House, Port Harcourt, Governor Wike said that the Supreme Court passed judgment based on the constitution, while the lower courts aired opinions in the Rivers State Governorship election.

"The Supreme Court is the only hope we have in the country. There if the judiciary crumbles, the nation will crumble. The tribunal aired her opinion, the Appeal Court aired her opinion while the Supreme Court delivered judgment based on the constitution and the Electoral Act", Governor Wike said.

He said that the people of Rivers State remain confident in the ability of the Judiciary to do justice.

The governor noted that Rivers State will remain a PDP state as the party is part of the political life of the state which cannot be easily erased.

Governor Wike assured the leadership of the PDP of his support and that of Rivers State to ensure the resolution of the party’s challenges and set it on the path of recovery.

"As a party in opposition, we must put our house in order, so that within the shortest possible time, the PDP will return to power at the Federal level ", the Governor said.

Earlier, Acting National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Seconduscongratulated Governor Wike on his victory. He described the Supreme Court judgment as a landmark ruling which will positively affect the country and the political arena.

Also speaking, the Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the PDP, Senator Jubril Wahlid said that the judgment of the Supreme Court affirmed the will of the Rivers State.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has urged France to invest in Rivers State in the agriculture sector with a view to improving the economy of the state.

Governor Wike urged the French Government to assist the state in the area of commercial agriculture to create jobs for the youths.

The governor spoke on Wednesday at the Government House, Port Harcourt, when he granted audience to the Ambassador of France to Nigeria, Denys Gauer.

He further called for a partnership between France and Rivers State in the area of vocational training for the youths.

He said:“we have to adopt another strategy on how we can survive without depending so much on the Oil economy, and for us as a State we have decided to go into Agriculture, not subsistent Agriculture but commercial Agriculture.

"The commercial Agriculture will not be solely owned by Government, but government will give individuals grants so that they will be able to establish farms on their own in order to improve the economy of the State”.

He added that vocational training remains critical to the creation of employment opportunities.

He said:“We will have to put away our confidence as regards to Oil, for us the only way to survive is by going back to Agriculture”.

He appreciated the French Government for helping Nigeria to fight insurgency.

According to him, “we sincerely appreciate the support you have given to Nigeria in fighting insurgency, particularly as it relates to Boko Harram".

He assured that his administration will continue to promote security across the state.

Earlier, the French Ambassador to Nigeria, Denys Gauer said he was in the state to improve the relationship between Rivers State and France. He also stated that he was in the state to discuss the security of French citizens working in the state.
