Nche95: I'm highly intro-verted. I can't even say 'hi' to a girl.. I think i'm destined not to get married.we kind of have same problem. |
@ op thanks. You have just save the soul of a ugly looking man like myself who cant talk to a woman |
Who says an average nigerian lives on $1 a day must be serious disturbed mentally. Course even the beggars on the street get to eat 3 sq meal per day is that not more than $1. |
Rimbaldi: It is usually best to relocate home alone at first till u get to know how things work here. Ur family can join u if u still want after 6 months to a year. This gives u time to acclimatize with the practices here and provide a soft landing for ur family. U have been away for long and u need a little time to learn about present day Nigeria. Is ur wife white or black? Sometimes the way the western media paints the picture, it makes it look like there's pandemonium here by the second. If south Africans and other nationals are queuing up at our embassies in droves despite the security challenges just to come make a living here, how much more u a son of the soil?@ bolded i love that part |
I have watch more than 20 of there films but jumong still remain the best of them all |
Rossikk: This is the problem with the media, exaggeration, and anti-Nigerian propaganda. Look at how this man's mind has been poisoned against Nigeria to the point where he cannot even see his country as it is, as opposed to the way enemies of progress want him to see it.thank you for ur post still dont know why the media like to paint us bad |
playmode: Thank you for your honest input,it is very much appreciated.you are welcome. And you should know sometimes what u read online is not actually what is happening in the country nigeria is not as bad as people take it to be. |
Home is home. You matter the challenges we face here in nigeria. It only you and i that can make our country better. No matter where u are you might one day find ur self in the country. So my advice you can come yourself to put things together first and survey the environment.before bringing ur family down here. Just my2cent |
Good can somebody put these up in the front page |
*Yawns* Nigeria can never and will never break up. [my 2 cents] |

Akpos' First day in a new Secondary School. Teacher: There will be an elementary science test next week. Contrary to his nature, Akpos reads his book from cover to cover like no man's business. On test day, teacher lines up about 5 birds, covering each with a piece of cloth so only their legs are visible. Question 1: Looking at the leg of a bird write down its' common name, species, family, zoological name, habitat etc. After about 20mins of frustration and not writing down anything, Akpos storms to the teacher's desk and slams his blank sheet in front of the teacher. 'Sir, this test makes no sense! I am going home!' Teacher: What a rude boy! Come back here. What is your name? Akpos raises his trouser and points to his leg: 'Oya u too, look my leg na, tell me my name, my surname, where I dey live, which tribe I come from. " |

By PETER OKUTU ABAKALIKI — A middle aged man, Chukwu Onyekachi, from Okofia Village, in Ezza South Local Government Area of Ebonyi State was arrested, weekend, by men of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, for allegedly vandalising Power Holding Company of Nigeria, PHCN, installation in the state. The suspect, 28, who confessed to have engaged in similar venture in Anambra State before coming to his village, revealed that his operation at Ezza East Development Centre will make it the 17th time he had engaged in the vandalisation of PHCN cables. Addressing newsmen at the Command headquarters in Abakaliki, the Corps Public Relations Officer, Assistant Superintendent of Corps, ASC Emmanuel Nwali, noted that the suspect sustained injuries on his belly, hands and face due to the electrical shock he received while attempting to steal a bolt from the high tension transmission cable behind Ezza East Development Centre. He said: “At about 7: 30 p.m. last night, we got a signal from one of our divisions, precisely in Ezza East Development centre of Ezza South LGA that a young man was caught vandalising PHCN transmission cable. “In fact, it was a surprise that a man of that age who knows what life is all about could risk his life by climbing transmission cable at that time. “It was as a result of him trying to remove a size 18 bolt from the transmission cable that made him sustain all those burns; our men tried to save his life by calling PHCN which eventually switched off power supply from the station. “From the victims confessional statement, we gathered that he has been in the business for a long time, making this last mission his 17th time. The law has caught up with him and he will face all the charges against him in court. “This is our core mandate; 24 hours we are alert to make sure that government’s infrastructure including PHCN are well secure. By YINKA KOLAWOLE The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to providing one million houses for Nigerians across the country on a yearly basis. Minister of Land, Housing and Urban Development, Ms Ama Pepple, reaffirmed the government’s plan recently, Yola, Adamawa State, at the launching of 400 housing units built by the state government through a N1.3 billion facility obtained from the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), with an additional N2 billion set to be released for other housing projects in the state. The minister, who was represented by Permanent Secretary in the Housing Ministry, Alh. Ibrahim Mahe, commended the Adamawa State government for embarking on the project, which she noted was in line with the National Housing Policy. “This is in line with the goal of National Housing Policy to aggressively tackle the huge national housing deficit by delivering one million housing units per annum,” she declared. Pepple expatiated on how government intends to achieve the goal of delivering the one million housing units every year. According to her, the houses would be delivered through various approaches, such as partnership between public and private sectors as well as collaboration among agencies of government at various levels. She added that state governments have been recognised as significant partners in housing delivery and as such urged them to help facilitate the realisation of the vision by expediting action on the provision of land and necessary infrastructure for developers. Managing Director, FMBN, Mr Gimba Ya’u Kumo, in his remarks at the occasion, said apart from the 400 housing units, the bank was also financing two other housing projects, comprising 95 units and 240 units, in the state capital. He noted that Adamawa State is an active contributor to the National Housing Fund (NHF), and gave an assurance that FMBN is set to provide an additional N2 billion loan to the state government for construction of more houses. Also speaking at the event, Chairman of Adasolid Properties Limited, the developers, Mallam Lawal Abubakar, said the project comprised of 120 three- bedroom bungalows, 244 two-bedroom bungalows and 12 semi-detached one bedrooms. In his speech while inaugurating the estate, Governor Murtala Nyako, renewed his administration’s commitment to execute people-oriented projects and called for support and cooperation from the people to achieve his transformation agenda.
