Politics › Re: Atiku Abubakar's Aide Reacts To Aisha Alhassan's Comment On Buhari, APC, 2019 by Voice234: 7:04am On Sep 10, 2017 |
Billyonaire: Please do not call Atiku stupid, except may be he has fuccked your lady. I am the one here making the comments, and I expect you to battle me and criticize my choice for Presidency of my country. Avoid Fallacies; Argumentum ad hominem will not be responded to.
Let me ask you; Do you want to take away my right to choose who I should vote for ? Is it illegal for me to make my decisions known on nairaland ? Do I still have freedom of speech in this country ?
I have evaluated Atiku for many years, I do not know the man personally, neither do I believe he is a saint, just as I do not know Buhari personally. I campaigned against Buhari and even when he won that election, I congratulated him but warned Nigerians of what to expect. He has done worst than I expected. People know my opinions, my ego, my senses and nonsenses on this forum and I have 8 pages of followers, 8 pages dear friend. People love me. It does mean that my nonsense, as you call it, has some sense in them. If you want to insult, I am equally good at it.
So do me the favor and bear with me as I state as follows; 1. That I am not a saint, I will never be a saint, and I will choose not to be perfect. 2. Atiku is not a saint, I do not think he will ever be a saint. 3. Atiku will loot some money when he becomes President, he will not be a perfect President, but he will not be a failure like Buhari. 4. Atiku's enterprises are in consonance with my drive in life vis-a-vis;
a) Education of the Masses b) Employment Creation for the Masses c) Call for Re-structuring of the Country d) Never supported OBJ's 3rd term Agenda even though he knew he had opportunity to stay there with him as VP for ever e) If Atiku was as corrupt as we are told, OBJ would have exposed him during the time they were fighting f) Atiku spearheaded Privatization of core sectors of the Economy and took the corrupt FG from continuously mismanagement of national assets. g) Atiku is a de-tribalized Nigerian f) Religious tolerance, oh my God, he is good with that. h) Many more.
I feel insulted when people respond to me without facts. Who ever wants to respond to me, should not commit Argument ad Hominem, I have no time for the unlettered. Nigerians, I weep. 30 Pieces of Silver |

Johnnyessence: No form of pmb or atiku charms can charm me here to be gullible and be following serial thieves as the leader. Both Apc and PDP are corrupt. The same senate president Bukola saraki are in the good books of atiku. Once atiku got elected the same looting and corruption continue again. Corruption and looting can never be eliminated in Nigeria if we keep supporting corrupt leaders in the high places. Am asking why is that atiku hasn't go the united state of America to answer series of FBI inquiry on corruption cases against him. Atiku is corrupt and shouldn't be allowed in the corridors of politics in Nigeria. Let me hint nairalanders here Apc promise us restructuring. Am asking where's the restructuring they promise us again. As it stand Atiku is a northern fulani politician that will only satisfy the northern elites in the north. Atiku can never transform Nigeria. He will even destroy this country more. Don't let us be fools and carried away with their empty promises. Nigeria politicians are liars. No truth in them. They spread propaganda as much as they can. GBAM. VERY CORRECT |
Politics › Re: Atiku Abubakar Replies Twitter User by Voice234: 6:50am On Sep 10, 2017 |
Deeldorado: You can criticize him on many grounds but he is probably the most cosmopolitan and pragmatic Northern politician. He has also succeeded outside government via his businesses. He's also a very organised person - look at his family, the way he raised his children and the way he runs his companies. Atiku's Media Office is the best professionally run media office in the country.
He thinks home with his investments too. If he can honestly bring his pragmatism in business to governance, I believe he should make a difference. Emphasis is on 'honestly', you never know how humans will turn out at the end of the day. I also feel OBJ maligned Atiku unfairly and damaged much of his public repute and I think it was because he was a tough vice president not the usual weak vice presidents we are used to. Not that he was a saintly Vice President but Atiku also doesn't get recognized for the contributions he has made as a private citizen.
He's one of the few politicians I can actually pick a trait from despite the negative public repute - his pragmatism is quite outstanding. A Nigerian wrote this?? It's your opinion. But I smell 30 pieces of silver |

danchuzzy: Just one question.
Why weren't we contacted via mail? Just like the LSS Scholars were contacted. Everyone who was awarded LSS, including those who applied for OSS but were given LSS were contacted. This is because 1) Unlike the OSS scholars, must of the LSS guys are yet to secure admission. 2) Last year, ptdf had challenges with most of the top institutes in the country because these institute saw "government money" and were charging the sponsored PTDF candidates almost double of what they charged the self sponsored candidates and this led to the late payment of tuition and slash in allowance of LSS scholars by PTDF. So Ptdf need info on the schools they plan on attending so they can sort it out with the institute in time. |

Education › Re: 2017/2018 PTDF Scholarship Scheme (Overseas And Local) by Voice234: 8:37pm On Aug 29, 2017 |
) athorello: Bros, you're kinda wrong. You must pass written tests and oral interviews before you enter any of those schools-- no sort of fast tracking. And not all students are lucky to be sponsored. You're only advised to apply for ptdf as you're making plans to apply for admission. However, it's easier to get ptdf while you're already on the program. Possible explanation is that those centers normally send a list to ptdf (I'm aware of that) and if a tangible number of students have got the award on their own before coming in (their names won't be sent), the rest stands a better chance. That's how a full set of students may be ptdf sponsored. I think ptdf have a separate budget for those centers. Thanks bro. What you said is true. Also there was a meeting with the directors of these institutes. ptdf can help you get admission in these institutes. Ask anybody in IPS how many persons were admitted for the next batch or Ask last year scholars that got AUST Abuja or CGP UNIPORT or OTI after the induction. As long as you meet their requirements, can pass the entrance exam and can pay the fees, bro, something can be done about it. They are also in the business of making money although impacting quality knowledge is their primary business. |

SnowJay92: Lol, I'm not a sir, I received the mail, and I was asking if receiving the mail means the person has gotten the scholarship? What is one required to be filled in the form, and what if someone doesn't have admission yet? your pin, name, msc or phd and if you have admission, the school and course. If you don't, ptdf is in partnership with some of the best institutes in the country (IPS UNIPORT, COE UNIBEN, Offshore Technology Institute UNIPORT, AUST Abuja, CGRP UNIPORT etc ) and ptdf will be of assistance in fast tracking your admission into these schools |
