Mind uploading a picture? Meanwhile, there's little or nothing to worry about when your tomatoes leaves or folding up. I do experience it once in a while especially when I forget to water the plants over a period of time. Then I noticed it all boils down to water moisture issues. Although some varieties are notorious for curling up angry . Nevertheless, feed your tomatoes very well and observe all the necessary guides in growing them. Above all, know your variety, it gives possible outcomes to a certain degree.

Peace.

Very concise schedule. Thanks for this. However, if I may ask, all these NPKs with different ratios, are they substitutes to the hiafa bonus n Di-grows that we have, or are they to be used together?
They are different... Not substitute.. Bonus is to make leaves greener, di grow red brings out more flower, di grow green makes the leaves broader... Npk makes the roots stronger larger and the fruit bigger

Hi, what exactly do you mean by very slow?. Do you mean the tomato sprouted seeds? How many days or weeks are they now? Pictures won't be a bad idea too.
I've transplanted already. It used close to 4 weeks at nursery before transplanting and before, it uses 1 and half weeks when I do the nursery on soil

Padma right? Well, so many factors comes into play when choosing your tomato variety most of which is; what time of the season are you growing? (Dry or Rainy season). Padma and Cobra are basically same to me if you ask me (my opinion though) although padma f1 are specifically grown for rainfed.

And for the Sakata, which of their products? Sakata is more of a brand abi? Just like Technisr or east west seeds.

Note: irrespective of the variety grown, a thorough program must be adhered to when growing tomatoes (fungi issues no b moi-moi ooooo).

I presently have 3 varieties in my garden; Lindo f1, Roma VF and a few local variety
I'm about planting padma.. I use taxiforce for nursery and it's very slow

That means I should have harvested when it was like this (35days) even when it had the potential of becoming bigger. Is 35days not too early?
I think it's the part exposed to sunlight that's turning yellow. There's this particular one under thick vegetation, with the size of the first picture and it's still green. I'll take a picture when I get to farm today
All depends on variety... Darina is 35-38 while mona Lisa is 40 days plus.. At this size, if it's mona lisa I can still leave it for a day or two before harvesting because I know it will grow bigger and greener unless it's on the soil, that's how most of them get yellow.. Darina at this size should be harvested.. If u leave for few days, it will turn yellow. Whether they are on the soil or not so it all depends on the variety u r planting

38 days after planting. I have few of them like that. Should I wait for 42days (6 weeks) before harvest when others must have been big enough for harvest or should I harvest the few of them like that? I'm afraid that the big ones must have been overripe before 42 days.
In mile 12,if you want to sell a bag of cucumber, they will pour everything down and Rearrange the cucumber themselves, while doing this they are checking what they are buying. They remove yellow ones, white ones and small ones.. If all dz are removed and the sack or bag, they will reduce their price with the difference of 500 or higher and you will wondering why you put that kind of cucumber and lose 500..its beta u harvest quick tho... Yellow and white cucumbers are no more cucumbers.. A pure green cucumber owns the market
Christianity Etc"Is There A Special Romance Between Religion And Poverty? " by vosquare(op):
If you go to rich neighbourhoods like Banana Island,Maitama etc you will see very little sign of churches and mosques.

But get into poor neighbourhoods like Ajegunle,Nyanya and everywhere littered with churches.

Is there a special romance between between poverty and religion?

I am a Christian but this special connection between poverty and religion has boggled my mind for a while.

Why are most preachers in public transport piss poor? Why are they usually raggedly, and survive based on the "kindness" of passengers. Mostly Religious beggars. Why?

Will the people preaching the word of God passionately in public transport and by the roadside continue if their lives are swapped with, say, that of Otedola?

Will that love of God still be there? Is their own form of love for God the purerest form is its altrusism?

And the people who scream loudest at churches, those who roll on flaws, those who "do the most".. forgive me for using that term. Why are they mostly very poor, why are they mostly the downtrodden.

Love for God or the circumstantial child of poverty and desperation?

Day 1 - Lindo F1 Tomato Planting (19/02/2019)

Okay, I got to excited this morning and decided to plant straight away before heading to work. (O yeah! I work kiss ). Got some Rio grande, UC 28 B and now Lindo F1 (my first hybrid tomato seed, though I already ordered for the Cobra 26 F1).
Let's see what the Lindo has to offer knowing fully well Rio grande remains my first love kiss .
The 1gram Lindo was able to fill up my 10x20 tray i.e 200 units after planting two seeds per hole. That means I got variably between 400-450 seeds in the sachet undecided . well, worth the price N700 naira.

Let the count down begin. Should be picking up more grow trays on my way back for my cucumbers.

Expenditure so far:
Lindo F1 tomatoes (Technisem) = N700
Nagano F1 cucumber (Technisem) = N800
Tray= N1100 (kind of expensive if you ask me)

Total= N2,600
Pls Which tomato seed is the best between pagma cobra and sakata?

My first dry season farming met with near disaster because of whiteflies. This is one of the most difficult pests to control!!!

From my reaearch, I found out the following solutions: bifenthrin, IGR Buprofezin, spiromesifen, cyantraniliprole, NEEM oil, whitefly fungal pathogens, whitefly sex pheromone, spirotetramat. who knows where i can buy any of them?
.
Note: imidacloprid, which i hav access to, work very well as a soil drench on seedlings. But dont use it when the plant is weeks to flowering. It is Very dangerous to bees.
Many methods...i once used morning and neem oil for whiteflies and it worked. I've used Confidor also for whiteflies. There are many methods to stop them but first, there should be unwanted Bush around your farm
