Peter Obi is the next president of Nigeria. Even the two old criminals contesting against him already know that. |
zionstaar75:Sorry, but you're actually very DUMB! If only you're educated to a reasonable extent, you will understand how sample polls are used to gauge general population. Now, to break it down for you and hope you will understand this time; the organizers of the poll called random people on phone to enquire who they would like to vote and 51% said Obi. While few others chose Atiku, Tinubu and Kwankwaso. What even makes the poll more realistic in agreeing with the opinion of the masses is that they picked the number of people for each state that reflect their percentage. For instance, Lagos and Kano had more respondents than say Ekiti and Gombe. Some of those called are old people in the villages, students, men and women of voting age. This is not Twitter or social media as you clowns always console yourselves with. |
NaijaRoyalty:Gbas gbos! At least Obi bowed to a king but Tinubu bowed to a woman, an ordinary citizen! SMH. |
GuyWise101:Know Sometimes you guys end up doing more harm than good. "Aerial view of Aba"... Yet you only showed just a tiny portion of Osisioma. Aba is a relatively large city, show other parts too or simply rename your thread "aerial view of Osisioma flyover". |
We will wake up one day to hear that Nigeria is officially no longer a crude oil producing country. |
Taba21:Olodo, same Delta state that has nothing to show despite all the oil money. Is there any city in Delta state that is beautiful as Owerri? |
PDP is finished in Southern Nigeria. They're being disgraced everywhere and I think it's karma at work. While they're relegating APC as tinubu party in the North, we have abandoned PDP here in the South. |
Only hungry and no future ambition youths are still supporting PDP and APC while smart, educated and progressive youths are backing LP. While these greedy ones are fighting for money, intelligent youths are using their own money to sponsor Labour Party. Levels!!! |
Trinitycian:Working for Tinubu will never favour Kwankwaso. Most of his kwankwasiya followers are bigots and radical islamic supremacists who believe they're above southern Muslims like Tinubu. That's why Tinubu had to go for a Muslim vice because they see him as inferior Muslim. Kwankwaso is a shrewd man, he would rather contest for a show of power and dominance in the North. This would make it easy for Obi to win. By 2027, he would emerge as North's poster boy and would square against Obi. |
seunmsg:LP doesn't need to win huge votes in the NW. Provided that PDP can split that zone with APC we are good. Jonathan won 2011 elections without NW and LP will do same! |
ekineme:That nuisance is helenius. The BATstards don't mind voting for the devil provided he is from their place. Fools!!! |
Taba21:Owerri is more beautiful and developed than whatever shiithole you come from. |
Abeg focus oga on your stolen mandate. Is anybody arguing with you before? No dey bring this kind talks. They have sent you on a divide and conquer mission but you will fail. |
Voting for any of the two old criminals is like voting for Buhari third term. Neither Atiku nor Tinubu can do anything radically different to change Nigeria for the better. Unlike Peter Obi that will do everything in his power not to disappoint the masses. |
muykem:See how you people are gradually running mad because of Obi. SMH. |
garfield1:You have started drinking again so early abi? Look at my post and look at your response, does it show you're with your senses? |
Ebi2233:You've become a nuisance and the worst of all because you never make sense. I'm sorry for you. |
garfield1:You and your master are banking on rigging to make him win abi? You will be disappointed!!! |
garfield1:Another agbado urchin being excited at the mention of rigging. You will look back at your old age and regret all these. |
Kyase:And you can't contain your joy that a criminal intends to rig the election? Are you normal? Some Nigerians deserve to suffer!!! |
PassingShot:Another cashtivist deceiving himself. Many of you would delete your accounts when Obi is announced winner of the 2023 election. All these useless propaganda is dead on arrival. No one is deceived. I'm in the East and I can assure you that tinubu won't get 10% in any state here and Obi is getting not less than 85%.You can take that to the bank!!! |
ItsTutsi: |
asanausana91:Of course, every normal human being with sense knows that we have two old criminals contesting the election against a man that has fear of God and love of humanity in him. I didn't mention names but Nigerians already know who the criminals are!!! |
Kingspin:They're morbidly afraid of Obi. They are threatened by Obi-dients because for the first time, their is a chance that the masses could take power away from the rogue politicians. Everyone knows that Obi and his Labour Party is sweeping everywhere, that's why both PDP and APC have forgotten they're supposed to be fighting each other but have suddenly become friends while Labour Party is now their common enemy. Kudos to Nigerian youths and indeed everyone who is contributing in one way or another to recover Nigeria from these rogues and reposition the country for greatness. |
babavik:Nairaland has finally reduced itself to a garbage site where all manner of senseless rubbish will be sent to frontpage. It's even more ridiculous seeing how PDP and APC have joined together to be attacking Labour Party, the same party they say is structureless and of no consequence. If Labour Party is not a threat to these two old criminals, then why are they having sleepless nights everyday over Peter Obi? Even in Royal Rumble, wrestlers would team up to fight who they believe is the strongest fighter because individually they would fail. That is what APC and PDP are shamelessly doing at the moment! To Nigerian youths and indeed all Nigerians desirous of a better country where the masses control the power instead of the criminal politicians, please do not relent! The more desperate and alarmed these two criminal parties become, the more it shows we are on track! Do not be deceived by all these shenanigans being promoted on nairaland, the obvious truth is that we the masses could defeat these two goliaths facing us. Buhari has said he would ensure free and fair election, that's what makes Tinubu and Atiku even more scared. Let's stand our ground because the battle is about to become fierce. Even the kingdom of God suffered violence and only the violent will take it by force! Kenyans succeeded, we Nigerians would succeed too with God on our side!!! |
lereinter:I analyzed a worse case scenario to you but you're allowing emotions to becloud reasoning. Nigeria's breakup will affect Nigerians differently but the North would be badly hit. The factors are: 1. A large population that is mostly uneducated and unproductive. 2. Being landlocked and far from the coast. 3. Extreme poverty affecting over 90% of the population. 4. Radical and destructive islam that is anti-progress. 5. A laid-back and docile population. Contrast that to Southern Nigeria that has: 1. Large diaspora population with huge remittances. 2. Largely educated population. 3. Access to coast. 4. Abundant oil and gas resources. 5. A more resourceful and productive population. Since 1914, Southern Nigeria has been subsidizing Northern Nigeria. It has even gotten worse in recent years. If you're smart you will pray that Nigeria remains one otherwise your region will become the world's poorest and most miserable. |
Obi should ignore the BATstards who think everyone is like Tinubu who abuses public office and turn it to his private business. Everyone with sense already knows that Obi is one in a million! They should tell us a single Nigerian politician who ruled for 8 years yet kept a clean record. Obi is God's gift to Nigeria and we are hopeful he would change the destiny of this beleaguered nation for good. |
lereinter:There are many Igbos in the North but their numbers have reduced relative to what it used to be while the number of Northerners in the East have grown astronomically. Should Igbos leave North en mass, it would affect the East briefly due to the cost of resettlement. However, within a year or two, they would be fully integrated. The large Igbo diaspora community and their natural communal way of life would ensure that. However, the adverse effects on the North would linger for years. Most Igbos in the North are relatively comfortable. They're mostly into business, trade, academia, hospitals, artisans like mechanic etc. Go to towns and villages in the North, they own distribution channels for vital goods like drugs, building materials, motor spare parts etc. They contribute a lot to the local economy and if they leave at once, the economy would be hit badly. The North suffer beyond measure should Nigeria breakup yet they're so arrogant and have a superior attitude to Southerners. |
BigDawsNet:Northern Nigeria has every reason to be scared should Nigeria breakup. There is probably no country in the world that has the population of Northern Nigeria yet landlocked with majority of them uneducated. Their huge population would be a curse because they're mostly uneducated and unproductive. Hundreds of thousands of Northern Nigerians would besiege Southern Nigeria as refugees running away from hunger and crises. Northern Nigeria would be more populous than Ethiopia yet that country is not too far from the coast relative to Northern Nigeria. Boko Haram would overrun North once Nigeria breaks up. They would establish the worse form of Islamic doctrine that would lead to starvation and deaths. They would be forced to pay in order to transport goods to ports in Southern Nigeria and also pay fees for using the ports which would make everything expensive for them. The break up of Nigeria is a nightmare they would never want to experience. |
If Northern leaders are wise, they should back Obi and ensure he wins. That's the only panacea to the peace and progress of Nigeria. Obi will not only unite the country, he will also usher in a new hope, passion and fate in the country. Remember that his supporters are mainly the youths, this demography have almost lost faith in this country completely, the endsars protests almost snowballed into massive conflagration that would have consumed Nigeria. Another one would likely be more damaging and probably irreversible. If by ommision or commition Obi is rigged out, it would have a devastating effect and Nigeria may never recover from it. Allowing another Northerner or even another Muslim who is paired with a Muslim to succeed Buhari would result in instability. Coupled with the economic crises, would Nigeria not descend to chaos and anarchy? This is probably Nigeria's last chance to reset itself on the path of growth and stability. I wouldn't have given a hoot but I believe that a united and prosperous Nigeria will do Africa and Blacks globally a world of good. |
Truthisunique2:Tinubu is technically out of the contest. Atiku already has the support of Muslim Northerners and worse still, APC is a party now hated by most Nigerians. So, SS, SE, and Christians all over Nigeria would mostly vote for Obi. Atiku and/or Kwankwaso takes NW and Muslim parts of NE and NC. So, where is tinubu going to get the votes that would make him president? From SW Muslims alone? I laugh in Iragbiji ![]() |
