Forget this small crowd, even Okowa knows he would lose in his community in Agbor talk more of the entire Delta state.

I'm not a fan of Wike and he can be very petty and arrogant too. However, no one can deny he knows how to galvanize people and can be very determined and passionate in whatever he wants.

If Atiku had chosen Wike, he would have been able to divide SS votes and also get significant votes for PDP in the SW & SE particularly in Abia, Oyo and Enugu. Unlike Okowa that likes to play solo and who also isn't a grassroot politician, Wike is a team player.

Some people argue that Wike is using Rivers state money to buy relevance but that's not completely true. He probably wastes Rivers money in his personal ego trips but Delta state is also arguably as rich as Rivers state and Okowa didn't perform better than Wike. So, he can't claim to be a better manager of resources.

It has become very apparent that Atiku will not just lose Delta state to Obi but may do so in an embarrassing manner. The gale of resignations of Okowa's political appointees and defections from PDP to Labour Party in Delta state shows that Deltans would massively vote for Peter Obi, even in Okowa's domain i.e. Agbor and the entire Delta North.

Northern Muslim leaders must have advised Atiku not to pick Wike as vice but instead to go for Okowa who they believe is docile & easily agreeable than Wike that might want to challenge him. Atiku also knew how disloyal he was to Obasanjo and didn't want another person to do same to him. In all these, Atiku either underestimated the extent Wike will go to undermine or he never knew that Peter Obi popularity would grow to such dizzying heights. However, it's too late to make any changes now. The entire South seems to have been locked out of Atiku's reach so he is now condemned to win NW and NE by landslide margin to stand any chance. Now, the question is, how possible is that?

On Tuesday(that was day before yesterday), I travelled to my home town in Agbor, Delta state for some urgent meeting with someone.

As I was getting to Delta state from Edo state, I decided to look out for election stuff, if I could get any glimpse of Labour party banner.

Immediately I got to Agbor, I almost forgot my plan for the look out for Labour party banner or campaign billboard.

I was at the main town of Agbor, when I saw a billboard of PDP candidate for house of rep. Guess what! In this big billboard, I didn't see Atiku or his vice on it. It was just the guy and some of his colleagues(seeking for other seat of governance). I didn't see the PDP governorship aspirant(maybe I didn't look at it well but I am very sure that I didn't see ATIKU/OKOWA).

I was almost getting to the place I will drop.

GBAMMMMMM!!!. what I saw gave me a chill on my spine.. I saw a big billboard of Peter obi!!!!!!... FOR OKOWA LAND OOOOOO.

If you're not dumb, you will know that Obi was the governor of just Anambra then and he can't control what happens in states North of Anambra. Yet he was involved and identified with the victims by walking through the muddy waters to address their plight and give them hope. Even victims of flood from Kogi were given accomodation in Anambra and provided with food and medication. Corrupt and wicked politicians like Tinubu or Atiku would have either ignored them or sent people to go and check and dump their report in the trash can. You think flood didn't ravage Lagos during Tinubu's time? Can you show me where he identified with the pains of the victims?

What if Kwankwaso collapses his structure to Atiku or Tinubu?

Whether Kwankwaso collapses his structure for Atiku or Tinubu won't make much difference because his influence is only felt in NW. Either way, Obi won't get anything significant in NW except Kaduna.

So, if Kwankwaso drops for Tinubu, it will only make him to win the region overall, but it won't stop Atiku from getting huge percentage too and vice versa.

Buhari has been winning same region landslide yet he kept failing until he was able to win some middle belt and SW states, now imagine same region now split almost in half while Obi now has almost the entire regions Jonathan had when he won Buhari in 2011.
