You think you have a culture? I feel sorry for you. Research what I am about to say and if I am lying, May God punish me: You have a culture that predates the introduction of Islam into the Hausa communities. You also have a culture that predates the Trans-Saharan slave trade. You have forgotten it. Your fore fathers established the Nok civilisation 1000 years before Christ was born, but you have no knowledge of that.

There are Hausa names that are not Arabic. There are Hausa culture that is not Islamic. You do not have to abandon your culture to be true Muslims. You can be a Muslim and still retain your indigenous culture. Many times you laugh at Southerners. Unknown to you, you lost your own culture long ago.

Yesterday, I was heavily criticised for posting my photo at the beach by one Ahmed Al-Hassan, who called my photo “irritating and irresponsible”.

After I showed him and others photos of President Barack Obama, Prince Charles (the next King of England), and former Prime Minister David Cameron shirtless in the beach, like me, a number of people attacked me and said that that was Western Culture.

When I told them they were wrong, and that before the advent of the Tran-Saharan slave trade, which forcefully Islamised many Africans (do not hate me for saying this. Hate history) and colonialism, our people wore loin clothes, with the chest area completely bare (except during ceremonial occasions) and that in Dubai, Emiratis go to the beach in shorts, I was called a liar.

Well, please find below a photo of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, at the beach.

Please note that he is a Muslim, like those who criticised me (using very harsh language on me).
My question is this, is his Islam less than the Islam of my critics?
Mind you, in Dubai, there is absolutely no poverty. They do not have 13.5 million almajiri roaming the streets. They do not have a radical Islamic terror group, or killer herdsmen and bandits.

One of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s ex-aide, Reno Omokri, said yesterday he initiated the #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon protest because he wanted to put a closure to the #EndSARS protests which swept across the country last year. Recall that the US government said last week that there was no evidence to show that people were fire at by the military during the shooting at Lekki tollgate in Lagos. But Omokri said in a statement: ‘’I flew into London on April 2, 2021, to lead the #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon protest, and I went there straight from the airport. I did not eat, sleep, shower or rest.

‘’The President’s people called the City of London Police on me, and I was questioned. At the end of the questioning, which was streamed live to my followers, they announced with their mouths that I had committed no crime and that my protest was peaceful, orderly and within my rights. ‘’In fact, after General Buhari’s people called the police on me that afternoon, I calmly asked the officer questioning me this question: ‘’Officer, has Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, ever come to Nigeria to access healthcare? So, why should you be called on me when I am asking my President to return to Nigeria to use our hospitals? ‘’The police officer was touched. He told me I was within my rights and flashed the thumbs up sign, and allowed the #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon to continue. Buhari’s people failed big time! ‘’So, why did I decide to initiate this protest at great personal expense and risk? It is because I believe that General Buhari is not running a government. He is running an enterprise.

This man has been in office for five years. In that time, has budgeted over ¦ 10 billion for Aso Rock State House Clinic. ‘’This is the equivalent of $27 million. Is that not enough money to build a hospital and train doctors to treat him and other Nigerians? Yet, his wife, Aisha Buhari, admitted that that clinic cannot even provide ordinary paracetamol. Google it. ‘’However, that was not my main reason for initiating the protest. I did it really as a way of seeking closure for the victims of the #EndSARS protests, because General Buhari’s spin doctors are going around town misrepresenting the US State Department’s human rights report as a vindication that the Lekki massacre did not happen. ‘’That is not what the report states. Please read it yourself. The report states that the US was unable to independently verify what happened because the Nigerian authorities prevented anyone from obtaining the facts of the matter. ‘’The report also said that while Amnesty International revealed that ten people died, the Federal Government said no one died, with the Lagos State government saying only two people died and that that controversy makes it impossible to establish what really happened. ‘’Finally, the report said that at least one corpse was found riddled with bullets and that they could confirm. They also said that another corpse was found with ‘blunt force trauma’. Nowhere in that report did the US State Department say the massacre did not happen.”

Biafra, Oduduwa Republic: Nnamdi Kanu is evil, sponsored to destabilize Nigeria – Arewa youths

The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, AYCF, has launched an attack against Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Yerima Shettima, National President of AYCF, described Kanu as an evil agent pushing to destabilize Nigeria.

In an interview with DAILY POST, Shettima stressed that Kanu was being sponsored to destabilize Nigeria.

He called on the Federal Government to ensure that the IPOB leader is repatriated back to Nigeria “to face the music” of his actions.

Shettima also urged the Federal Government to listen to those genuinely agitating for both Biafra and Oduduwa Republic.

According to the AYCF National President: “The agitation for Biafra and Oduduwa Republic can permanently be sealed off when there is the spirit of justice to all and commitment on the part of the government to ensure that everybody is brought on board to resolve issues amicably.

“Though some are not genuine in their agitations, some are doing it for their selfish interest, while some are being sponsored.

“But those who are genuinely agitating, the government must give them a listening ear to resolve this issue amicably.

“I do not think any of them want to walk out of the country, apart from the evil one that is the so-called IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu. We should not be surprised if he behaves funny; we know that certain forces are working with him to destabilize the country; he is an agent of destabilization. I will not want to encourage anyone to give him a listening ear.

“But the rest, to an extent, are genuine and the government should listen to them, ask why they are agitating. There is probably certain perceived injustice on their side, so they chose to agitate to draw the government’s attention.

“And to those who are just being evil-minded like an IPOB leader, the government should do the need and ensure that he is brought back to the country to face the music.”

The AYCF National President also commented on the possibility of secession with bloodshed.

He said: “I don’t want to imagine that we will get to that, but certainly, it will not sound well for the country. I do not think they also want to go that far but that somebody is making noise does not mean that is what will happen.

“I, however, worry because some of them go out of their way to instigate violence, and I don’t like it. In recent times, a lot of things have happened in the agitation for Oduduwa Republic that some of us do not find funny.

“Somebody assumes to himself and starts dealing with people, even going as far as to maim and kill people from Northern extraction, all in the name of agitation. Some of us were watching not because we are cowards but we chose the peace part so that men of honour and those committed to project Nigeria, the government can intervene in the matter.”
