A young lady identified as Kimberly Ofori has narrated on LinkedIn how she got stranded in Dubai after travelling there in hope of working a better job. The lady rejected a promotion she was offered at a bank she used to work for in Amsterdam because she wanted to take up a different job in Dubai.

So she resigned from the bank, packed her bag, and went with a one-way ticket to the United Arab Emirates. Before making that bold move, the lady had got a job with a housing company that offered a relatively better salary that is tax-free.

When she got to the new workplace in Dubai all excited, the director of the company was shocked to see her. Some moment after, she called Ofori, gave her a one-month advance salary and apologised that the job vacancy had been cancelled.

The boss revealed that they have been trying to reach her and inform her of the new development before she got to Dubai.

That was how Ofori got stranded and had to spend the next six months applying for over 70 jobs without success. She had to survive on water and piece meals like noodles and biscuits. She never told anyone back home of the situation.

When the young lady’s salary dried up, she got more desperate with her job hunting until she got one.

Though men get attracted to them because of the potentials of no being a liability, no man wants a woman that won't have time for them all in the name of job.

As much as possible, let your ambitions be well communicated such that it doesn't portray you as a wife that would end up being arrogant or cannot submit.

The need for respect is in every man's DNA, whatever feminism is trying to teach, if you cannot respect a man , don't go into relationship with him.

Date the man you value and feel deserve your respect, that is not being mumu it is secret of blissful relationship.

PS: Respect is reciprocal, a man that deserves your respect would respect you also because he is perceptive enough to recognise your value and vice versa, just that what a man calls respect might be a bit different from what a female perceive as respect and truth is men feed on respect more than love while women feed on love more than respect.

Yes agreed that the woman faulted but wat I find completely disgusting is the way some simps (yes I refer to them as simps) wld come all out and kip generalising and abusing all women forgetting that they were born of women and wld get married to women.

FYI, I'm not referring to all the guys here cos some are very reasonable, and wld take their time to dissect the truth. I respect the men on this platforms that are realist. Blame the man if he is at fault and vice versa.

Simps don't rest wen a topic that has to do with women comes up, it gives them joy to see that the women are degraded and reduced to nothing. Remember u have a mother and sisters at home.

Sorry to mention this, about the guy that saw some medication in his sister's bag, he was already fuming on wat to do with her, imagine where someone is talkn about the sister in a disgusting and degrading manner, how wld he feel?

Some women are useless but not ALL women are useless, same applies to me too.

how come this theory works only when the man has money. Broke men always recieve their kids. They even come on nairaland to complain how the mother left the kid with them. Face reality. The child is a means for collecting money.

How could you be sleeping with your sister's husband till the point you got pregnant by him and pinned it on another man?

I think it's fair for them to go to the court to resolve their custody issues.
