victorVIC1: wot about those who have not been under a paid employment before and the HR personnel insists your state ur least acceptable pay expectation?My point is stating an amount could mean you shooting you self on the leg, any possible means to avoid that should be taken, always mention that you're open to negotiations. That's what I think anyway. |
Also always study ur resume, a newspaper coy once called me and asked my duties as a publicist in a magazine coy, I told him what I did but unfortunately he wanted to know in details the duties of a publicist. Again never state an amount for the coy to pay you rather state a reasonable amount you were paid before (even if not exactly) and say you're open to negotiation. Hope this could help, my little experience though. |

Jobberman works well, my company used dem sometime last year, they even verified before putting it up, sometimes its the company, they don't give feed back, and most jobs in lagos are from fake coy, so far the abuja section have been very effective, my last 3 jobs have been from jobberman, my advise restructure your profile and keep applying, something meaningful will def show up, jobberman works well |

UcLloyd: My problem is that I can't remember what I applied for and my test invite sms didn't state it as well. How do I cover up this, cuz I will look stupid telling them I don't know the position I applied for.That shouldn't be an issue, something regarding that will pop up, even if you tell them you don't remember, its not an issue coz they invited after 1month + of applying and besides you must have done several applications not jst theirs, so I believe telling them that wouldn't be an issue (that's if they ask) and rossyc mentoned a couple of vacancies I remember being vacant on their site |
rossyc: If u applied for commercial executive, one of d requirements is the ability to drive, for credit administrator, the diving skill wasn't stated and is not d same as marketing sane with the poat of cash sales supervisor. As for the pay I learnt is around 100k though not sure, for the test is psychometric shl questions; verbal and numerical. Hope that helps.Thanks, |

Okay I had this experience and thought I share it here, this consulting firm called leap consulting and global services say they are a recriuting firm but is carrying out a written aptitude test with questions one is supposed to make research on but to answer in 2hrs. NEVER STATE AN AMOUNT TO BE PAID, every organization has a particular pay for every level, tell them "I know you organization has a stipulated amount for this position" but is they insist you can tell them "you earned xx amount in your previous organization or current organization" but never tell them to pay you xx amount, if they are okay they'll call if not, its on to the next one bruh |
