The 2019 budget was made against an anticipatory $60pb of crude oil benchmark, now that it has fallen to $56pb, don't you think it is a cause for worry as there'll be need to cut off some "not so important to the economy" allocations e.g. NNPC TF reimbursement?

The price of C.O hasn't necessarily being $60... It's been fluctuating... What about the excess crude revenue accrued when the prices fall above? Bro, leave Matta... They should just try and pay local men/women alike.

However, APL is the ultimate trophy. Wish us all the very best.....

Hi y'all, so based on all I've been reading, it seems like there's sort of correlation between how you Inputted your account details and people that have been paid, I don't recall being asked anything concerning the wrist-tag on my hand. I know they wrote a certain number on it but no one asked me to memorize anything or any code, I wrote my name & details in the paper for GT (I wasn't asked anything other than "EH or GT" by the person at block D)
If there's anyone who has a similar situation and has gotten paid, please let me know to debunk this theory.

The number on the tag is sheet/row where your name appeared for easy of signing out. Mine was 1/6: meaning I wrote my name on sheet 1, and row 6 of the spreadsheet.

The same thing with July 8th. All the people I know that were interviewed on July 8th have not been reimbursed, including my friends from FUTO and other people I met at the TOWERS. If anyone here was interviewed on July 8th, let the person speak up.
Forget all the speculations, there can't be any correlation between TP REIMBURSEMENT AND APPOINTMENT LETTER.

I don't think there is a correlation b/w TF & APL. I think while processing the payment, some people/names were mistakenly jumped . I am no more worried because my aim is the APL not the TF.

They just released the results of two courses for 200L first semester and I had F, (3 credit load each) it is very painful because I read my books.


Anyway I want to ask if it's still possible to graduate with a good 2.1

I study physics by the way.

Of course, you can still make comfortable 2.1... it all depends on you. Gear up, brace up, let the failure be your driving force... trust me, you'd be amazed in the end. You should also learn how CGPA is calculated, that will help set a trajectory on the grades you possibly need for the remaining courses. Pls, don't forget to socialize, but know your limit and don't exceed it for anything in the world.

I asked my panel for feedback (more like what I didn't do right in the interview)

They listed some of the things they were looking for.

One of them was your ability to take your time to think when a question seems to jar you. It's not about rushing to say rubbish.

So in my feedback, one of the panelist actually commended me for taking my time to think (the question took me about 2 minutes to come up with an answer).

So you don't need to be worried

You can get up to 4/5 or 8/10 depending in the scale. Again depending on the mood of the person grading u. He expects u wear complete suit. If you are not complete, some people term it office casual even with a tie on.

lol. Mechanical seals. I was asked the same question. to be honest i did not prepare for such questions but heck! I had to improvise , left right and center....

When we all remember that an average of 900 people did interview per day, then would we realize that we all need to be sober.

And BTW, interview schedules was based on the role you applied for, not state. On the day of my interview for instance, PH, Lagos were there.

4 days earlier, a colleague of mine who did CBT with me same time and same centre had his interview but he applied for a different role and he confirmed he was on his panel with people with similar roles.

I will repeat, APL will be based on roles vs FCC.

Bros, no one can vividly say or predict accurately how the payments are made.

I did my interview on the 8th of July, EH Mech Main, in my panel, we were all EH from different engineering disciplines... I had a chat with at least 6 of them. Civil, Electrical, Petroleum, Materials,...... I even remembered some guys who studied business and an accountant all interviewed by the same panel... How do you explain this? During my interview, the chief panelist asked me a question on structural analysis... but one of them quickly cut in and said 'the question is for civil, before he started bombarding me questions on mechanical seals....''

With my experience, I can tell you, no one can propagate a definite theory as to how the interviews were conducted or how the TF reimbursements are done.

I have been praying.... and will continue praying even after I receive my APL... God is faithful. God is merciful. God is grace!!!

I am one of the readers club members of this group my take is rather than depending on your intelligence, qualifications or connections I would prefer you take the humble pill and pray for grace.. I may come from one of the most competitive states in Nigeria but I have come to understand the race isn't for the swift or the battle for the strong but grace would make the difference. As a human resources practitioner, I have seen unqualified persons being favoured and highly qualified persons rejected. Let's not forget companies don't just hire you because you have knowledge but also for skills and most importantly attitude. As little as Attitude is, it has disqualified alot of qualified candidates having said this i implore many of us to take the humble pie because in a recruitment such as this, favour would separate people, so pray for God's favour and stop displaying your intelligence everyone who has made it this far is intelligence and should congrats his/herself as it's been a race of over 25 million person's. I was inteviewed for EH position as senior officer. During application, minimum years of experience is 6 years for senior officer and 9 years for supervisor. I have morethan 6 yrs but lessthan 9. So, i go for the officer position which is SS4. My question is: if i am recruited would i be placed on some steps ahead of those with the exactly 6 years minimum requirement? Because by next year i will have the 9 years minimum requirement for supervosor which is ss3. I want kow if HR wil consider given me SS4 step 2, so that by next year i will prepare for promotion to SS3. Ideally, those with the exact 6 yrs minimium will spend three years before moving to SS3. But for me, i have 8 years experience now.
Plz those with Recruitment experience shall help and respond.
