OK,I am not in Lagos,I checked for gtl registrals and found some numbers,I called them and one went through,he said he is in Abuja that I can come to the office with a valid idcard. I am not in Abuja presently so I have told my mom to go there but she seems skeptical about it that hope they are not 419 ,I told her to just go first and it must be the office.


Now the main question is,what exactly are we going to claim? The money for the shares or the dividend(gains right?) .

the closing price is the benchmark.As at today 1 unit of Union bank shares is worth 5.25 naira.so if your mum bought 100000 units of the bank then,the physical worth today is 5.25×100000 which is 525000 naira.depending on the amount of units she bought.The dividend paid through this yrs will come in separately.
