RadicallyBlunt: They say 50℅ of a man's personality is from his mother (or the woman he grew up under). The other 50℅ is shared btwn the father and the environment. Some men actually inherited irresponsibility from thier mother as mothers are the closest friend to thier children at early age.
No matter how responsible an impending husband wishes his children to be, it still depends on the level of responsibility of the wife he marries bcus shes d one who will instill manners into the children. Men depend on women for everything. |

Health › Re: Today Is World Aids Day. Have You ever Gone For an Hiv Test? by Vyolet(f): 7:16am On Dec 01, 2017 |
Frenchfriez: This ain't right. The fulcrum of HIV diagnosis is VOLUNTARY COUNSELLING AND TESTING with emphasis on voluntary. No test or health procedure should be compulsory, even if its malaria test. The patient's consent should be sought and documented. Its just unfortunate that we find ourselves in a country with zero care for human lives. It is not right,we all know that, infact I had a fight with one private hospital sometime ago where they carried out the rest without my consent, they ended up apologizing. In the case of pregnant women,i don't think the compulsory part is that bad since it involves another life, the earlier the better for mother and child. The slogan is voluntary counseling and testing but how many Nigerians go for tests voluntarily? Mention HIV test and everyone tries to dodge, me inclusive. |

Yes, severally. If you are a woman and pregnant, it is compulsory unless you won't register for antenatal.
If you live in Abuja and go to government hospital just to complain of headache, you will do the test.
It is free and compulsory. |

blingxx: What do you know about hijab.. Go and Google it sir... We have different types from different Muslim countries...
FYI the kind of hijab you were talking about are for people who stay in desert areas like Saudi Arabia (to protect their face and body from sandstorm) and they have been using it centuries ago... What are you saying? humor me please. Hijab is hijab anywhere, anyway, anytime. The reason hijab is worn is not to prevent sandstorm or whatever, the main aim is to cover your nudity. It is believed that your body should be for your husband alone. |

jacyhelen: Poverty and illiteracy is the bane of poor Muslims. Compare Qatar to Pakistan Compare UAE to Afghanistan Compare Oman to Syria Compare Bahrain to Northern Nigeria Poverty and illiteracy is a problem, Oshoola Assisat is a Muslim, but how many times have you see her on Hijab even on social events, not even a head covering. Sometime ago, Sanusi's wife graced on homepage, but she was wearing just a head covering, the wife of a revered emir in the north. Let northerners keep allowing themselves to be decieved by their elites, they keep pumping you guys with Islamic teachings while they send their wards to study abroad, they keep funding Quranic recitations while their children keep attending conferences in their career niche, after studying Islamic studies, what career in the society would you work? When you don't see jobs and see that you are useless to the society, the same elites channel your anger that it is the infidels on the other side are the reason for your poverty and the killing spree starts and continues.. .. You seem angered over something, calm down mate, the way the northerners live or dress should be the least of your problems. You hammered on religion and likened it to poverty, you may be right because truly, religion is practiced better when one is rich. You mentioned that it is poor people that the hijab thing affects, you are totally wrong, you need to get some education, enlighten yourself on individual's preference and way of life. There are more than a million educated and enlightened northerners that dress in hijab. You should know that it is a choice depending on your belief, whether you are a strict follower of religion or mild or just there. When you get to those countries you mentioned, you will find hijab among the rich, the average and the poor, anyone can use. Many families in Saudi Arabia are not poor yet they use hijab and they are still beautiful. Religion is there to guide people on certain things, it is left for you to adhere to the teachings or not, whether you are poor or rich. Do not commit fornication or adultery, people still do it, is adultery or fornication based on poverty?, both the rich and the poor commit it regardless of religion. |
