FamilyRe: Could My Wife Be Cheating? by wagazala: 2:02am On Jul 13, 2015
Mutendiwashe:
It will always be easy for any 12year old child to come online and give advice on marriage when they have never been in a committed relationship before.

Marriage comes with its ups and downs and if you always think of getting off the next bus stop everytime an issue arises be ready to do the same with the next 5 or 6 women you will marry.

Show me a perfect man or woman and i will show you the world's biggest liar. Too many imperfect people expecting a perfect spouse.

This is something that can be worked on my being more open in the relationship. How can a person remove his ring and still expect the other person to be 100% perfect when they have given that person a million reasons to mistrust or grow distant from them.

To freelance777 if your excuse for removing your wedding is not either because you are allergic to the material or it was too tight, i would say you created reasons for your wife to find consolation in other people. You need to sit down with her. If her removing her wedding ring affected you this much, dont expect your removing your wedding ring to have done anything less to her.

Find the root of the problem and fix it. The grass is not always greener on the other side. Perfect women do not fall from the sky especially for an imperfect man.
Just like you said, any 12 year old comes online to spew trash. Your opinion is yours, same as mine is mine. You don't have to throw insults if you disagree.
Marriage is an institution that has no direct working formula, we can preach to the affected couple all we want but only them, regardless of whatever anyone says on this forum, can solve their problems. We don't even know for a fact if it's a real story.
So next time madam no courtesy, share your opinion, don't talk down on others if you disagree with theirs.

PS: Been married 10years and I've had my fair share of issues, and I know more will come. I don't put my ish out in public if I'm not ready for different opinions.

Bullshitt.
If blatter wasn't so corrupt then maybe england would not have anything to attack him with.
Corruption is the problem here, not england.
Blatter hasn't been found to be corrupt. I'm not a Blatter fan but there's more noise coming out of England than the rest of the world over Blatter stepping down.
SportsRe: Content Removed by wagazala: 6:31am On Jul 10, 2015
Blatter has a point but his words would have held more value if his cabinet didn't smell of corruption. The honorable thing to do is to step down. The English are known to always go after anything that doesn't favor them, they destroy it.
Platini shouldn't feel too comfy too, if an English club doesn't win the Champions League in the next few years...they will be coming for you too.
SportsRe: FIFA Rankings: Super Eagles Crash 14 places, Now 57th by wagazala: 5:05pm On Jul 09, 2015
The once Super Eagles, just hope one day someone will come and save Nigerian football. I like Oliseh but dont think the solution to our football lies in the hands of a ex Nigerian player. Just because you played for Niaja before no mean say you fit coach Naija team.

Unfortunately we have kids together, 2 kids to be precise. So am on some serious hanging here. If not, I might probably have parted ways with her.
Marriage is not easy and this is why people have to ensure they are emotionally ready (regardless of parental, society or status pressure). It looks like your wife is not ready to let go of a certain lifestyle or her past. Or perhaps there was something you provided her before that you no longer do.
I know a married woman that complains all the time that her marriage is now 'boring' due to the fact that her hubby doesn't take her to movies, clubbing etc. She then cheats on him for this excuse.
OP, as a man, stand your ground in you home, let your woman know what you want and what you dont....but also re-evaluate yourself, perhaps you've lost your mojo a bit.
FamilyRe: Could My Wife Be Cheating? by wagazala: 11:38am On Jul 04, 2015
Bros, begin find new wife.

If your wife would go as far as cook and confide in another woman's husband other than you then obviously something is wrong. The usual template answer most people will give you on this forum is have a heart to heart talk about it to your wife, pray about it, etc. Forgerrit, if you don't have kids yet, i'll suggest you start packing your bags.
PoliticsRe: This Is How Ambode Wants To Solve Traffic Problem In Lagos by wagazala: 5:12pm On Jul 01, 2015
LASG can't build 8 lane roads to everyone's house in Lagos. There will always be bottlenecks hence traffic. They should invest more in alternate means of transport like the waterways and rail/tram etc. Then the over dependence on Lagos motorways will reduce.
PoliticsRe: Banks May Deny 14.6 Million Customers Services By Wednesday - The Punch by wagazala: 7:19am On Jun 29, 2015
These service restrictions are not enough to enforce Nigerians to register for BVN before the deadline. The banks should also state in clear terms if we would be allowed to register after the deadline or BVN registration closes.

What if that bullet had hit it's mark? There would have been no Dre, Eminem, Snoop, 50Cent, Kendrik, Beats Headphones.......Typical example of how a few minutes of anger/madness could damage ones future and others too.
Let's all learn to keep our cool.

Perhaps the database of the Bvn is shared with FGN and these numbers also used as Social security...ie we get an automated tax system?
RomanceRe: 8 Things You Should Never Do For A Lover You’ve Not Married by wagazala: 12:00pm On Feb 28, 2015
I wonder why so many do's and dont's nowadays when it comes to relationships. People in love are too blinded to follow any guidelines, what works for A might not work for B. Enough all these guides as if following them guarantees a happy relationship.

*And make sure anybody sitting close to you put their hands were u can see them* grin grin
I was going to quote this too....sounds like a scene from a movie..Lol.

But OP's points are valid. I had a guy pick me once, unfortunately for him I was listening to music via my earphones so I was startled when the music went off. All I could see was the other end of my earphone hanging loose then I pounced on the guy beside me. We were seated on the last row in the bus so nobody else could have reached me, but I was rather late. His partner had dropped at the next bus stop with my phone but after several brushing I got my phone back.

OP sometimes they come in two's. Be weary of fully grown adults that insist on lapping each other in the bus too.....ensure the put their hands where you can see em too... grin
BusinessRe: Ecobank ATM Paid Me Counterfeit by wagazala: 10:39am On Feb 20, 2015
I was also paid a fake #1000 note by UBA ATM on Awolowo road Alausa. It was a Sunday and no witnesses, i still have the note with me. I didnt even know it was fake until i was handed the note back at a shop, all i thought was that the note was probably washed in someones pocket. I didnt bother going to the bank as i know Nigerian banks will not help but i am glad at this thread. I believe there is some sort of fresh influx of fake notes in our system...so everybody SHINE YOUR EYE!!!

Thanks bro, really appreciate your comment. The rewire guy said he'll have to remove it and go fix it at Willoughby (Hope I got the spelling right) and I should budget 20-25k! cheesy

In my head, I was like... "For where!! When Nairaland never shut down!!!" grin
You are welcome bro, 25k too much for fixing. wink Make sure he takes your extra key along and they ensure both of the keys work. My extra key stopped working after mine was fixed, it couldn't turn on the ignition.
Car TalkRe: Please, Help... Key Won't Start Car (Accord 2004). by wagazala: 9:25pm On Jan 21, 2015
This fault is common with 2004 Honda Accords, ive had to battle this countless times. The key slot in your car is faulty, sometimes dirt and some other residues causes the malfunction. What you need to is to have your rewire remove it and take it to folks that rearrange/reset the slot pins. The tricky part is if its not done properly, any key will be able to turn your ignition. You have to insist it is taken to the right place. I am sure you can find good repairers in Olowu (Ikeja), Ladipo (Mushin) and Oyingbo. The cost will vary but you should be good with 5k thereabout.

I remember when Nigerians celebrated Obama winning the presidential elections in the United States like he was going to reach out and solve all our domestic problems. Years later and the relationship between both countries is on a decline, how did we come to this? Its about time we make our votes count, we cannot continue this way or else there will be no Nigeria, we are loosing international allies by the day.

CelebritiesRe: Why People Love Don Jazzy And Hate D'banj by wagazala: 9:38am On Dec 24, 2014
Mr OP, perhaps you are paid by the Lee crew to write this. I dont see any reason why this topic should be brought up after it has been laid to rest several times.
This is a lame attempt at trying to resurrect an already dying career for Dbanj. Like we all know, 20 kids cannot play for 20 years, it is only natural that a group splits over time, same will still happen to the mavin crew over time.
Dbanj has peaked, and by laws of nature, will and surely fade, same will also happen to Don Jazzy and every other artist out there as nothing lasts forever. Don Jazzy knows this, understands this and has decided to invest his time in future / upcoming stars hence staying relevant for a tad longer, perhaps Dbanj should do same.

SportsRe: Equitorial Guinea To Host AFCON 2015 by wagazala: 4:13pm On Nov 14, 2014
rickkid:
By the end of the tournament in February, Equatorial Guinea will have scored a massive image coup and Nigeria and the other countries who chickened out will be left with egg on their faces. This was a prime opportunity to project Nigeria positively and display a leadership role on the continent. Imagine Nigeria being the country which bailed out the rest of Africa and put on a great show against all outside expectations. Imagine Nigeria successfully defending the AFCON trophy in front of 68,000 Green and White shirts in Abuja. Imagine the rest of Africa and the world looking up at Nigeria as it would have sent the most evocative statement about our confidence in ourselves and our ability to get things done.
Instead, it's a TINY country like Equatorial Guinea which will now bad mouth us afterward saying things like "What Nigeria dared not do, we did excellently."
When all of you will be complaining that other people badmouth Nigerians, you don't see how things like this create these negative pictures of us.
After we've gone around beating our chests about how we are Africa's first ever $500bn economy and the largest economy in Africa, ordinary 4 week, 4 city tournament which we already have the infrastructure to host, we choose to chicken out.
Country of loud mouth, big for nothing, unsubstantiated egos.
Lets just pray that at the end of the tournament, there are no cases of Ebola in Equatorial Guinea. I think its was a wise move for Nigeria to back down.
