I will ask you the same question 4 years down the lane and i would hope you will still stand by your answer.
Lolz, i do not have Nairaland as part of my sex organs, so the chances of me still active on NL four years from now is very slim, especially when tribal fights are the norm on the streets of NL.

All I am saying is that, the situation of Nigeria needs a total and acute turnover, else we all drown. These two policies will go along way to put us back on track.

How do you come about this wonderful discovery? Does Tinubu himself knows what he is doing?
Anyone with the slightest knowledge of economics knows that the two major policies is to revamp the country.
So yes, I bet Tinubu who set these things in motion have an idea of what he is foing

Well to correct you, my spelling is correct because this brand is a scottish brand.

Now learn this, whiskey (with an 'e') refers to grain spirits distilled in Ireland and the United States. Whisky (with no 'e') refers to Scottish, Canadian, or Japanese grain spirits.

PoliticsRe: Graphic Pictures: How Every Sector Of Nigeria's Economy Is Dying Under Tinubu by Wainey: 10:17am On Aug 09, 2023
The things most of us don't know is that, Nigeria is dying slowly and if a desperate measure isn't taken, Nigeria may not survive another 30years, we are in a slow but peaceful death.

What Tinubu did was to take measures that will avert this painless death, we are either to chose the painless death or the painful recovery.
Take it as giving a malaria patient some medication, the effect of the drug is sometimes more sever than the sickness itself, but that recovery fever is temporary.

My concern is does Nigerians have enough strength to survive the painful recovery? What is the govt, both local, state and federal putting in place to help Nigerians survive the hard times?

It foolish for u to say so, u word is like someone that is deaf, even in news meeting he said so, likewise during party engagement with inec, and also in UK he said in real time ,in polling unit. Read the line be4 talking
The problem with most of you is that, you don't ever listen very well before you spread information.

INEC said there will be electronic voting, they never said electronic transmission of results, these are two different things.

Bring a proof that they said they will transmit results electronically, I bet you have none
PoliticsRe: INEC Has Constitution Right To Determine Transmition Of Election Results - Court by Wainey: 9:17pm On Aug 08, 2023
TheGoodJoe:
The grammar is too simple. INEC promised to verify every result it declares.
You have no proof of INEC not delivering what they promised.
And also, INEC has verified every result declared.
If you have the total result of every state which is different from what INEC declares, you can raise alarm.

After all, Peter Obi was looking for witnesses yet he couldn't find any, if you have proof, you can go and be his witness, hence it is better to verify claims before you open mouth "waaaah" and say nonsense cos others are saying it
PoliticsRe: INEC Has Constitution Right To Determine Transmition Of Election Results - Court by Wainey: 8:56pm On Aug 08, 2023
TheGoodJoe:
The point is too simple. Electronic verification. All collated results must tally with the result on IREV. Don't pretend as if you don't understand such a simple point.
Oga where is your proof that INEC promised electronic transmission of results?
PoliticsRe: Warning: Niger Republic Will Dam River Niger And Nigeria Will Lose Reputation by Wainey: 8:33pm On Aug 08, 2023
BLACKPRIEST:
The masquerade is yet to dance in the square. If things do not take a different turn, the real issues will play out after the dust is calm.

Firstly, BOLA Ahmed Tinubu took a thoughtless decision to cut electricity supply to Niger Republic, breaking the 1960 pact between the two countries. A forward thinking leadership will plan for the possibility of a retaliation from Niger Republic. But, it looks like the man is busy trying to make name for himself.

If the other country eventually decides to build a dam over the River Niger, it will have noticeable socio-economic impact on Nigeria.

Secondly, If Tinubu does not execute his treat of invasion, there will, undeniable, be a serious dent on his capacity, further diminishing the perceived image of Nigeria as the African giant. Also, this will also establish the narrative on the international scene that ECOWAS is a puppet of the west.
This is the kind of threads Obidients always create.
They just follow the crowd and type all sort of rubbish.
Heads with no brains
PoliticsRe: INEC Has Constitution Right To Determine Transmition Of Election Results - Court by Wainey: 8:28pm On Aug 08, 2023
TheGoodJoe:
INEC promised real time verification of results. Every result transmitted and collated must tally on the IREV. Their rules, not mine. They put it in their electoral manual. Not me.
Oga bring proof that Inec promised electronic transmission of results.

PoliticsRe: INEC Has Constitution Right To Determine Transmition Of Election Results - Court by Wainey: 6:51pm On Aug 08, 2023
TheGoodJoe:
INEC has the right to determine the way it wants to transmit results, and chose to use IREV for verification through the BVAS. After that, INEC put it in its manual that it has chosen to use IREV to verify results. Travelled to London and that using the BVAS/IREV is chosen.

So, no one is arguing that INEC does not have the right to choose how to transmit its results. We are pointing out that INEC chose a process and decided to change it during the election, which marred the process.

Simple English.
INEC promised electronic voting and not electronic transmission of results.

INEC delivered as promised

I will not explain because it is a waste of time and energy
So you have no evidence then.

If you can't convince someone how a democratic coup was done in Nigeria, it's better you don't even say it cos everyone is saying it.

As long as I am concerned, INEC didn't promise electronic transmission of results, they only promised electronic voting. You can't hold INEC responsible cos they didn't deliver what they did not promise.
I never voted Tinubu, but it's time to move on if you dont have concrete proof that the election was rigged, we just have to be smarter in next election and ask questions before the election.

You guys and propaganda.

Which hidden agenda...?

But the OP told you that it was an Igbo who carved SS out...so?

Before 1914 why did the hidden agenda come up..so Igbos will take your land?

In your SS there are Egbemas...half of them are in Imo state...so what will you do with them?

Were they consulted to find out if they wanted to be part of River state?

Nobody wants your oil...or you land.

No this and have peace.
if there is no hidden agenda, then allow the South south to chose if they want to be called SE or they are comfortable with SS.

I have not seen anyone from SS complaining about the name, it's always the south east that isn't comfortable with it.
Please let us be, we do not have problem with the SE people but we are comfortable with the name SS name.

Ohu rest.

Old eastern Nigeria is dead and buried.

Face your Biafra on your own.
The south south aren't complaining, infact the SS will rather agree to continue with the name than becoming part of SE.
It is only the SE that isn't comfortable with the name cos they have a hidden agenda
