PoliticsRe: All Diasporians Know Nothing About Nigeria, They Make Me Laugh When They Argue. by walakolobo(op): 5:04pm On Nov 10, 2009
Thank you Afam- a place they dont know about, they call it jungle, hell, failed system, they refer to Nigeria as "that country", they think they have all the knowledge, they are far worse where they are, but they think they are living in paradise- but to be honest, if you look at these ones who describe Nigeria as hell, they are the ones who lived in the villages before they travelled, the ones who couldnt even step inside a shopping mall, now find themselves shopping in Tesco, in Sainsbury, in big shopping malls and suddenly, they remember they couldnt do so at home, and they begin to think in their minds, oh, these kind of things are not in Nigeria, rather than say, oh, i have no opportunity to be in a place like this in Nigeria. They call it a failed system, they call Nigeria all manner of names possible, they call the President all possible ill mannered names on earth, is this just right? Because you stole someone's credentials and use it to travel abroad, wait till nemesis catches up with you, either here or heaven or hell, you will know better to shut up rather than whine un necessarily.

If you want to effect change, come home and do so, we have seen the likes who came home and instead of making their marks, they left Nigeria worse than they met it - look at Ibori, Tinubu, Ayo Fayose and many more- these are diasporians who use to shout on top of their voices, see what became of them when they touched the system - it is a shame.

How can someone in her right senses say a non living entity has gone mad? These people dont think at all, they just write anything for the sake of criticising. And what is the meaning of what is written here? Poster, i think it is someone else who has gone mad, and the finger is actually pointing at you - a non living entity can not go mad, darling.

Who will drive the bus? Yourself? if not yourself, then you will be wasting time and money buying a bus for 500k and giving it to someone else to drive.

You are more concerned about wife and kids that you dont yet have? You will put them thruough more hardship if you relocate to Canada- ask those who had been there. What are the things that scare you about Nigeria? Should it not be asked if this was not the country you grew up? Please lets be modest and think properly, everything is not gold abroad- so which type of Visa do you expect to have to make you live and work in Canada? Use your brain man.

R Kelly and Tu face in the news again, speaking exclusively to our man- James Kol in his home town in the States, upon touching down from Nigeria, he was asked to make a statement on the Tu Face issue - and he just said, yes, I did it with him, it is real, Tu Face aint faking. Well, he has promised to make real the pictures and stage and studio shows showing this to be true. He says, why will Tu Face lie about something as simple as a collabo? It is true, he says.

Ask yourself- The people that invented the aeroplane, what pushed them? The peolple that invented motor cars - were they poor, hungry and battered? Use your head.
PropertiesRe: by walakolobo: 9:13pm On Jul 28, 2009
Only poor folks buy from the UK, what they can buy in Nigeria. It is more prestigious shopping for UK goods in Nigeria than going abroad yourself to buy them or shipping them in, it shows you are poor, you are not ready for the high life - high life begins when you dont look at price labels, you just shop, point and pay. My friends bought their TV, Cooker, Washing Machine, Drier, Fridge, everything all the way from the UK - I go to Naija shops, look for the same label, the same type, exactly what they have, buy and pay and arrange in my house - no stress of calling the shipper, no stress of paying 3kg per kilo, no stress loading and un loading, no fear of damaged goods, no time wasting - its called bigger boy shopping.

Chaircover:

Imported things are cheaper in Nigeria. I also run a business. I love-vendor. When I love-vendor in London, each service is £100 - equivalent of 25,500Naira. When I love-vendor in Nigeria, I only get paid 15k - equivalent of £60 - u see, then, imported services are cheaper, so are imported goods. Benin girls charge £150 per night in London, but in Nigeria, they charge only 10k Naira - so, imported pu ssy is cheaper. I can go on and on and on.

What kind of question is that? Why not do a simple market survey and research by yourself? Dont you think that will give you a more logical answer than what you will get here? Chaircovers are even cheaper here in Nigeria than in the UK - oooppsss - your name is even Chaircover!, will you be buying all that from the UK as well? Me think it is an arrant waste of resources to bring what you can get in Nigeria, all the way from the UK, and you guys are the first to talk about bad Nigerian economy, why wont the Nigerian economy be bad when everyone prefers to shop and buy stuff that is made abroad, when in actual fact, most of these things made in Nigeria are actually made for Nigerian weather and will serve you better. I equiped my house with items bought in Nigeria, noone will come to my house to start asking me, oga, where do you buy these stuffs from! In actual fact, go to stores like - Park n Shop, Exclusive, Grand Square, Amigos, and you will see all these things you want to bring in, all at cheaper prices, so why waste time, money and effort?

There is absolutely no sense in buying what you can buy in Nigeria all the way from the UK, exactly the same thing, whats the point realy? It only shows some people still think Naija is all bush and nothing good goes, meanwhile, if you have your money, you will buy the same stuff and better, and even all made in Naija, big deal!
