Okay, well if the eco determined that the documents at that time were fake, be it knowingly or not, the applicant would be served with a 10year ban and would have to serve the 10 years, especially in the event such refusal and decisions were communicated to the applicant at that time. But again, each application is handled on individual case.
The main applicant may want to write an AR for the dependent or ask an immigration lawyer to help do so.

This was her idea though cos she was like she wants me there so soon.. I was like we could even find easy ways aside the marriage stuffs
N she said one of her sisters said the marriage would be the easiest n fastest
Even her mom is a British/Nigerian and she also wants me to be there so just like we need any easy ways to be there

try and write a good worded letter. I saw on the general visit uk thread, A dependant that has served 7 years did admin review, there is a likelyhood their case will be looked at as the ar team has resnet the file back to the caseworker. You can go there and reach out to her. Her husband was initially denied and reminded that he is serving a ban.

I have a question. If an employer decides to sponsor you to the UK by giving u a COS and Tier 2 Visa.

What now happens when u decide to maybe study a course in the University in UK after some months.

Will you have to switch back to Students Visa where u only work 20hrs per week while u study or u just continue on the Tier 2 Visa where u can work unlimited?

Before you wow, I have a friend who didn't know her degree certificate was fake till she submitted a visa application.
I went through AR and JR because the ECO defended that I wasn't a genuine student but a refusal based on a fake document is serious hence, the reason I asked.
It isn't that deep.

It’s almost impossible for one to get a fake UI certificate and still get UI to send email to UKVI except the mail won’t be ...@ui.edu.ng ( I am not saying it’s a perfect system at UniIbadan, but a public school in Nigeria where her VC can’t influence her admission process ...)

Now to the main issue, with all the due respect, I think we need to collectively seek how to curb the excesses of these officers in UKVI (visa fees in Nigeria should be paid at a Naira equivalent of GBP just as it’s Pounds equivalent of NGN in UK for instance) and in this case, I see an arrogance in ignorance of the deciding officers, maybe, UI certificate now carries passport photo and DOB already since 2012 I think, which a 2008’s won’t ..., is there a way Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abuja could be involved?

My brother currently works in our Dad’s company.
1. Can we use the company’s account for POF and say the company is sponsoring him?
2. If we are doing this, given regular company transactions, by how much in excess does the company account has to have at each point in time if the POF needed is 14million?
3. What other documents do we need to back this up?
Or how best do we go about this?

You need to provide POF yourself and your dependent.
Secondly, I used wema bank to pay my 65% which is 8650 pounds . They deducted above 4.9m .
Lastly, I don’t have an idea about your child’s passport . I hope someone answers .


Please is the credibility interview just as easy as the reading it’s pdf sent or more reading is involved?

nice thread guys, quite unfortunate I didn't know about this in time.
I'm in a sort of limbo, I did the processes of school admission and visa all by myself (no past experience guide).. still awaiting a decision on my visa app at this very moment and I applied since more than 3months now.
I made a terrible mistake and only got to know how important this is in this very commendable thread. as earlier stated, I applied for the Belgian study visa with no guide whatsoever, so definitely every step was horribly horrible for me, very very.. to shorten the talk, I got the study visa requirements and was not clear about the annex 32, so I mailed the embassy what the sponsorship form meant, I didn't mention annex 32 but sponsorship form instead because I saw it was meant to be legalized, so I asked if I am to legalize the sponsors form too, their response was very misleading because the reply was no (I really wish I found this thread earlier).. so I ignored the annex 32 and continued with other requirements including other sponsorship docs and all..
yeh I applied without the annex 32, don't even know what's blocked acct, I found out what it meant here.
so the reality my brothers is that I'm waiting for a visa that annex 32 or blocked acct was not included, how pathetic
I was even trying to find out if applicants can add documents even after submission but I don't think it's possible. so this is the situation I'm in now and I pledge to direct prospective students here and help also in the little way I can so peeps won't have to make terrible mistake like myself.
I apologise really for this short novel, my first contribution and I'm relief I've let this out.
I haven't mastered the names yet but I must commend some old buddies, they've been excellent from the previous comments I saw.

Sorry for the late response...
Truthful, your sponsor wouldn't be told differently, who is going to refuse money?
Check the back of the annexed 32, it should be written there, either in dutch or French and if not and you are very sure your sponsor has such monthly income.... for example: your sponsor should have about 1900x350(assumption it may be more or less) let's say 700k monthly..(salary not biz money ... his salary).
Then you are good to go... but you must include pay slips, statement of account, family structure letter (to know number of dependant) ..(. have forgotten the rest but check online..).when applying for the visa... hopefully with prayer.. you will be granted... if you are refused don't be discouraged... I was refused too..name was refused... Just rectify the problem and apply almost immediately... you will be granted... have in mind no be beans ooo.... but it's still easy.. after all every Nigerian who came follow the same procedure though the money might be different... best of luck sis... all will be fine and don't forget to always pray it's seals shut the bad door...

Thank you so so much for the detailed update. I really appreciate your help. My sponsor went to the Embassy of Belgium in Abuja yesterday to fill, sign and submit the Annex 32 form for legalisation. They asked her for some documents which she provided and the official said all was fine that she even overprepared sef; that he would legalise the document. She was told to come back at 3pm for the legalised document. She has given me the legalised annex 32 form. I don't see where it is written "Sufficient Solvency" on the form although it has been legalised. Should I be worried? Or once you have a legalised annex 32 form does that serve as proof of sufficient solvency.

Please advise. Thank you


Requirement for Student visa looks easy but it's more complex than we think. In one of ur post u said tuition is sorted does this means u have blocked some amount with ur school? If it does then the financial attestation from ur school is ok. Please be more precise so veterans like fikki, Namebdis etc can help out. They got Ph.d in belgium visa processing I swear

I hope your sponsor does not reside in Nigeria?
If that is the case, then you not be issue the visa. Reason you need a sponsor who is placed on monthly salary of about 2000 Euro without a dependant. For each dependant added, you need to add about 150 Euro. It is hard to fine someone in Nigerian earning this much per month. I mean someone who is being paid monthly salary as this will reflect in his/ her pay slip and not a business man. I hope this will now guide you to search for a good sponsorship. If I may advice you, look for a sponsor abroad.
