Akell:There's an etisalat thread on this topic in the phones section of nairaland. You'll find all the details there and it'll work on BlackBerry 10 |
Proospere:There's something wrong with your OS installation. You should reload |
tunnyflow:http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/emu/2453 |
scorpboss:Why do you want to connect the internal storage to a computer? Get a microsd card and use the file manager app to move things around |
tunnyflow:Make sure you go to BlackBerry world from your phone and grab all the free premium apps BlackBerry is giving away for xmas...today is the last day. |
tunnyflow:Enter BlackBerry world to look for themes if there are any...I don't use themes. Look for stickers in bbm shop and from your friends who have free ones they can give u |
Osinitu:There's a sim cutter for reducing a mini sim to a microsim or you can do a sim swap and request for a micro sim So long as your existing bis subscription is on airtel or glo, then you'll be able to continue using it on your new device |
abdulcafe:you need wifi to get past that stage...just look for another phone, set up mobile hotspot to create a wifi your BB10 can connect to |
mochi1:Update your OS |
Emrich:No, you don't need to restart your phone for new contacts to start showing. If someone calls you with a number not in your address book and you add the number to your contact it starts showing immediately If your contacts are saved on the simcard then you have to delete them from the simcard otherwise they will still show in your contacts app unless you tell the app to not display sim contacts Contacts saved on your email must also be deleted from the web email to stop showing on your BlackBerry The contacts app is an aggregate of your contacts from everywhere |
Dahveydson:Airtel and glo bis work All BlackBerry 10 devices are good buys depending on your preference and pocket size |
Dabss:that's the idea and they dont have that ugly rectangle around them anymore |
Dahveydson:no |
dancok: BluePearls:30k |
reaky:unfortunately the sticker pack is not free again ![]() |
biggmusty:Put your sim in another phone that has mobile hotspot capability Your BlackBerry will be able to update when you connect to the wifi you create with the other phone |
Kash007:30k |
eightsin:There's a setting in the browser under security and privacy that defaults to preventing pop up windows...did you by any chance alter that setting to allow pop ups? What you're talking about the way you're talking about it is actually a significant security risk if it is true your browser opens links without your approval.. I have not experienced it on those and that's why I'm skeptical about the picture you're painting the way you're painting it |
cruz22:i don't think you have to reload your OS....please exhaust all options before you start wasting your credit calling anyone go to SETTINGS->NOTIFICATIONS and make sure the sound bar is up |
biggmusty:if you have data on your phone and you're not on the latest OS...it will be pushed to your phone and you will see a notification that you need to update your OS if you cant wait, go to setting->software update and check |
@all those who have quoted the ponzi scheme post by thanksondue, all you have done is echo the ponzi scheme and perpetuated it My advise, pls modify your post and delete the quoted post from it |
tunnyflow:What I have is a z3..you want? |
siegfried99:I think you should be cautious what you disagree with and what you agree with when it comes to Apple. Apple doesn't build hardware and then build software...they build an integrated unit that happens to have hardware and software components Did you know the iPhone 6 & 6+ are believed to run on a dual core processor clocked at only 1.8ghz but they have outperformed all quad-core and octa-core devices in virtually all benchmark tests that are dependent on the cpu? The only way that could happen is that apple builds their latest os specifically for the hardware in their latest device and everything runs like one unit as opposed to androids built in bits and pieces for all sort of hardware permutations |
eightsin:Loollll....your browser doesn't open links on its own..if you don't touch the link the browser won't open it You just need to make sure the tip of your finger is touching what you want No worries though, you should get the hang of touchscreen sensitivity in a day or two of use |
tunnyflow:Bold 9900 & 9930 are both genuine BlackBerry devices. They were made for different network types...gsm and cdma respectively Those who used the 9930 on gsm networks would have experienced mixed results |
Rowybest:Z30 and galaxy note 4 are two different paradigms in mobile technology. Forget the hardware and specs, the main discussion when you mention those two devices in the same sentence is the operating system The fact that you mention the two devices in the same sentence tells me you're not really into technology...you just want a device that works and gives you call, text, Internet, social media and instant messaging capabilities...right? The iPhone was created for folks like you. I can tell you that peer pressure might prevent you from enjoying a BlackBerry if your friends are not BlackBerry users and the galaxy note 4 will overwhelm you with its unlimited apps and customization capabilities I'll be happy for you to get the z30 but the easiest way to go for you is the iPhone |
tunnyflow:All genuine BlackBerry have a pin and they have BlackBerry world. If you pay for a BlackBerry let the seller start the phone and open BlackBerry world on the device...not amazon, not Google store or any funny name...the name of the BlackBerry appstore is 'BlackBerry world' only genuine BlackBerry devices can have access to that appstore |

tziz:I have blend on my laptop and I connect via mobile network. I have not noticed a lag in connection I installed blend on my galaxy tab before I got on 10.3 but the screen of the tab got damaged and I have not used blend on it yet so I can't comment on how it will play out. My guess will be that you use Wifi connection for tabs otherwise you'll be doing cellular to cellular if your tab is the type that uses a simcard Not sure blend can install on the playbook |
oluafolabi:The official word is February 2015 |
tziz:You don reach here ![]() Savings account of any kind is ridiculous in terms of returns.. irrespective of the name the bank calls it Treasury bills are low risk govt securities that give a decent return (up to 13% at times) in Nigeria is exchange for locking your money away for 90, 180 or 365 days..of course you can break the investment in between at a penalty |
softtouch2:Sure the mode of connection matters and will impact your battery differently. USB is best for your battery because your phone gets charged as you're connected Wifi is next because your phone is on the same Wifi as your tab or desktop or laptop and data exchange is faster over the LAN Mobile means your data has to travel over the web to get to your devices Since I started using the passport, I have only connected via mobile network from the passport to blend on my laptop. I deliberately leave the passport on mobile data even though I have fast Wifi at home and I have not noticed any strain on my battery |
