There's no way to withdraw PayPal unless you are in the country where your account is domiciled If you want naira for your PayPal fund, you have to do a swap I can swap with you |
Note that you need to update the following apps on your old BlackBerry to the very latest version available BlackBerry world BlackBerry ID BlackBerry Messenger Once you do that make sure you know your BlackBerry ID username and password on the old BlackBerry because that's what you will use to log in to your new BlackBerry to enable all your bbm contacts transfer over |
Nuzo':Yes you can download music, you're just not doing it right. To download music, rather than tap the link to the music file touch it and hold until some icons come out from the right hand side. One of them is to download 2. What you're talking about is call waiting. IT has nothing to do with the phone. You have to set up call waiting on the sim and it will work irrespective of the phone 3. Yes the memo app doesn't exist in bb10. It has been replaced by REMEMBER and for the early adopters of BlackBerry 10, we could not get the notes from bb7 to copy over to the remember app on bb10. If you're a new bb10 user and you used BlackBerry link to do your device switch, it's possible your notes are in that app |
gykes: You are wrong man, the flag is from your network carrier. If you are using MTN-NG, be sure to get a Nigeria flag. You should refrain from saying people are wrong. Nobody knows it all...see attached
|
There's definitely a newer OS than that. |
Peggysally: Hi,it's stil showing me that I have the latest softwareWhat OS Version do you say you currently have ? |
How whatsapp works is not up to BlackBerry. Whatsapp uses mobile numbers to populate your whatsapp friends list and you can't copy conversation history from one phone to another in whatsapp I don't use whatsapp group so I don't know if your groups will come back or you have to rejoin them If you have the whatsapp app installed on your BlackBerry 10 at the time you do the switch, it might be possible that your settings will copy across and your groups will be preserved |
Etisalat bis doesn't work on BlackBerry 10 devices You have to get the BlackBerry 10 plan. Check their site for the cost and data cap Note that etisalat sim will run data on a pay as you go rate if you don't have or run out of a data plan so long as you have credit on your line |
10.2.0.1803...the latest official OS version i have the latest leak on my z10 and the new feature set are fantastic...check some of the earlier posts you will see the complete list of the features |
Apps for the different mobile platforms are a 'nice to have' addition not a necessity. If you read my earlier post you will notice I said 'nairaland doesn't need' not that its a bad idea If Seun and his crew have the time and resources to implement stand alone apps, that's fine but it won't detract from or improve the popularity of nairaland Nairaland is already vastly popular and enjoys the pioneer's momentum. Standalone apps will only make interactions easier for those already on and those who will join in future but it's not the strategy to take nairaland to the next level I'm sure Seun and his company would have already and are continually analysing the cost to benefit ratio of implementing standalone apps |
I use a z30 too and I don't use BlackBerry 10 plan. I use glo or airtel bis depending on my mood My battery life has been beyond fantastic. Just a few minutes ago I realized I have not restarted the phone since I got it almost two weeks ago I typically charge it overnight and usually still have plenty of juice by the time I get home The advise I always give for smartphones is for people to avoid depleting the battery to the point of making the phone switch itself off...it shortens battery life if you let that happen irrespective of which platform or brand of phone |
i dont think nairaland needs an app.....the mobile web version works really well and since the mobile web version is compatible with all mobile platforms, i think it saves Seun and his crew the stress of creating apps for the different platforms out there |
serty1: Mind u am on a dual citizenship....am gud with it in 9ja but wen am out am out......can some1 help meit might correct itself or it might not....the device detects the time from your network to set your time but the flag shown most times is that of the country language you used at the time you set up the phone i typically use US English to set up my phone so the US flag always shows in BBM but the time is WAT |
it works on all BB10 devices...theres no way to add to your data on etisalat...you can however have BB10 data plan and a regular data plan running side by side...your BB10 device can use both without any problem |
Your BlackBerry is not the one doing the job. The app is like an interface to servers connected to the telescope. At every point in time, there are stars above you that could be seen if you had really huge telescopes connected to powerful computers. The app developers have access to those types of telescope and that is what they pull to your device if you buy the app So the stars you see are real but it's not your phone that's doing the work of searching them out...your BlackBerry only provides gps coordinates that the servers use in showing you the right stars above that position |
Tuneday01: Walcom pls add me......pin:2B6B745EIs there something you need me to help you with ? |
anitank: Oh I see! Was thinking I could view real stars using the app, kinda like the telescopeActually you're viewing the stars already picked out and named for you something close to what augmented reality offers on ground. The stars you see are real and their locations are quite accurate but the developers go the extra step to tell you what you're seeing If you used a telescope, you'll probably see something but you most likely won't know what you're looking at |
kodeya: Pls guys, help me out.Everything works. Just put your glo sim and you're good to go Don't worry about BlackBerry 10 plans, there's no extra benefit |
that's the latest official version...you don't need any link, just check for OS update from your BB or from BB Link with your BB connected to your PC |
Unless you're into astrology, you're just supposed to know what stars are above where you are and as you turn around in 360' |
The issue is not with the video but with how you closed the dvd. PlayBook Videos are recorded in either mpeg or avi formats and those are universal formats that any dvd player can decode You need to properly end the dvd write session for a dvd player to work with the disc |
Is the z10 new? At the point of setup it will show you the option to select language If you have already passed that stage, swipe down from the top, tap settings, look for anything that says language or keyboard The first item is for choosing language |
tonte: Thank you walcom its fine now, and I dunno how to explain how it got finethere was a problem with the latest version of the twitter app and it was pulled from the BB world...that is why you could not download it again after uninstalling it.....you were then able to download it when they put back the previous version on BB World |
I actually downloaded 25 apps and games. Didn't get the black knight game of Day 20 though I compensated myself with monopoly and the other app of Day 21 i agree wit you on the usage but i always prefer to have the freebies on my profile in case they ever become useful in future |
howdy Folks, the Blackberry 25days of Christmas is now over...see list below How many people got all 25 gifts
|
@tonte, all is well that ends well ![]() Enjoy |
amprime: I hav an htc one jss need Ѧ second foneunless you're like me and you don't mind having multiple touchscreen phones, the Q10 or Q5 would be your best shot |
post a screen shot of what u see....oh btw, to capture a screenshot in BB10, you press the Vol +/- together... |
tonte: I have restarted a lot, but I don't seem to know how to refresh my BlackBerry world any help with that please?open blackberry world, swipe down from the top Select setting and select General settings you will see a button to refresh Blackberry world |
