You will definitely be happier with the z30...I did buy the z30 despite my z10 serving me well. I gave the z10 out to someone who was still on the bbos to win their soul for BlackBerry 10

It's also a good idea cos the z30 will be BlackBerry's flagship for at least another 6 months. The next BlackBerry 10 to be released sometimes in April or May is a low end and I don't expect the next set of high ends until September or October

If you're happy with your z10, you can live without a z30...that's the short answer.

the z30 packs better specs but both run the same OS. Yes, the Z30 will run faster and the experience will be more awesome but the z10 is not that far behind

Technically you're not buying from the cbn. The bank buys from the cbn and resells to you for a fee.

Although cbn wants to sell to you directly but Because cbn cannot handle the logistics of selling directly to individuals, they had to allow banks charge that small fee

So long as the Glo sim has an active bis subscription, apn is set automatically once you put the sim in a BlackBerry 10 device

BlackBerry 10 can allow you to install android apps in addition to the BlackBerry apps if you know what you're doing

BB10 devices use data very well and they make sure you get value for the data you paid for

if you have been rocking your Z10 and chatting, voice and video calling, Skyping, installing and playing hardcore games then most likely you have burned through your 2gb

Any BlackBerry charger will work. They might not charge as fast as you want but they will work just fine

that's a windows 8 issue init? Anyways, from the tiles page, open your desktop and proceed normally as you would on a windows 7 laptop to search for wifi. You'll see the wifi icon in the bottom right notification area

When you click on it it should list all the hotspots around you

when you switch on mobile hotspot, follow the prompt and give your hotspot a name and password

on your laptop, search for wifi and pick the name you gave your BB10 device and enter the password as above

send 'deactivate' (without the quotes) to 440....make sure you have the money for subscription in airtime then do as mekstaniac said below

actually, airtel rolls over your data so long as you are on the monthly plan and you do automatic renewal or you deactivate and re-subscribe

welcome to the BB10 thread and glad to see a new convert in our ranks. Your observations about the new look BB are quite spot on and many android and iPhone folks who take a delight at bashing the BB use the previous BB experience as their excuse and have not taken the time to objectively and dispassionately look at the BB10 OS and how it stacks up against their beloved mobile OS

of course BB; the company has made a mess of the whole thing with their poor and non-competitive pricing on the hardware and ridiculous marketing

on the other hand, BB10 the OS has closed the performance gap between BB and the other mobile OS (Android and iOS) everything these other platforms can do the BB10 can do and even do better....speed, reliability, stability for hi-def games and heavy wait apps

the Best Blackberry device to ever walk the face of this planet is currently the Z30....it does everything the Z10 and Q10 can do and does it better and faster but that doesn't take away from the Z10 and the Q10....both are extremely capable and beautiful devices

you might want to ask your gf is she prefers the all touch Z10 to the Q10...the Q10 is a very pretty device and popular with the ladies. its more expensive than the Z10 and Q5 (the baby of the family). The Z10 and Q5 are both below 50k in most shops so you should be able to get your own brand shiny new units to rock
