it should work technically

the different models are for different markets. the easiest one to find in nigeria is the STL-100-1 but if you can lay your hands on the STL-100-2 model, go for it

android fanbois never had access to glo BIS so the error you're getting could not be due to android devices running on glo BIS...they just can't run on it because glo has chosen to not allow android and iphones to run on it...which is the right thing to do

the glo BIS is available to BB10 devices because they are technically BlackBerry(s) even though they do not need a BIS or BES to work. other carriers (MTN and ETIS) chose to be ignorant of that fact and they have intentionally blocked BB10 devices from the BIS policy page in their system rather than blocking only android and iphones

from your phone, look for the app named 'file manager'....locate the internal memory and select all the files you need to move, do the move and enjoy

Your battery calibration is off or the battery is now damaged because you allowed it to drain too many times in the past. Plug the phone to a charger every chance you get even if it says 100% on the battery meter

Also update your OS if you don't have the very latest OS

they are all equipped with DLNA capabilities...that means, they can connect wirelessly with your TV if your TV can be connected to a wireless network aka wifi network. they can also connect to your TV via wired connection if your TV has HDMI input although the drive is to generally reduce the wired connection because the world is moving in the wireless direction

what type of BB do you have?

if its a BB10, then YES you can connect wirelessly and via HDMI. if its not a BB10 then you're shite out of luck

correct me if i'm wrong...mid-month plan is one of the dedicated BB10 data plan thing right? i don't think you can subscribe to a regular bis when you have put yourself on the BB10 plan...you need to disable autorenew of the BB10 plan to free up your line for a new type of subscription

In case you dont know, glo doesn't officially support regular BIS on BB10 devices...they have just chosen to look in the other direction by not actively blocking it unlike MTN and Etisalat who have decided to be mean to BB10 users

There is no magic wand. Unlocking it will cost like 5k or 6K

okeys112: Oga, SanDisk manufactures Cruzer (USB sticks). All my memory cards are original SanDisk , none has ever given issues. I even sell them when I am upgrading to the next storage capacity. The current owners v no issues.

I believe it is fake memory cards or rather low quality memory cards that misbehave when they reach a particular threshold.

As per the gentle man who complained about his memory card giving him issues after he upgraded his OS, he should test the memory card in another device and see if there is a change in the state of the memory card.

There is nothing wrong with having a belief. We are all entitled to one.

I dont need a belief to Know that a fake SD card will develop issues..I also know from publicly available customer feedback that large sized cards do develop issues for a number of reasons. old hardware that doesnt play nice with the card, formatting issues , unavailability of the right driver in the OS etc

I have been using SanDisk for a long while and l have not had issues with them

Official updates require wi-fi to download or BlackBerry link on a pc with Internet connection.

You can also use mobile hotspot from a phone as wi-fi to do the OTA update. Note that the update might be large

okeys112: New Original SD cards don't give issues bro. Always buy either class 10 or Class 4 SD cards. U can limit ur purchase to Cruzer or Kingston. BlackBerry devices that come with SD cards mostly come with Class 4 SD card. Class 10 are the best. Most of the SD cards sold in Computer village are of low quality, they even select what device to be compatible with.

Get a new original SD card.

Cruzer and Kingston are not better than SanDisk in the world of sd cards..as a matter of fact I'll take a SanDisk over most brands

And by the way, it's a well documented fact that new original sd cards can also give issues especially once a particular size threshold has been crossed

New sd cards are the ones prone to errors the most... bought a new SanDisk card for my z30 and cut all my data to it from my previous card...two days later I lost everything because the card became unreadable
