Nothing is impossible but I don't think the Google play app will be coming to BlackBerry 10 ecosystem just like that unless there's something in it for Google.

A very large number of the apps on play are already available for side loading to BlackBerry 10 anyways

You can reinstall the OS.
The runtime I sent earlier was released to sort the few instances of the official 10.2 and sideloaded apps and other Android ports not playing nice together

What you can do first is to delete all the side loads and android ports that are not currently working and reinstalling them now that you have installed the runtime

If that still doesn't work then it's possible there's a problem with the 10.2 installation and a refresh might be it

If you have been allowing your battery to run down before charging it, then the problem is not with the OS update

BBM dp needs to be in a 1:1 ratio.

You can take your pictures with any of the aspect ratio depending on how wide the area you want to cover is

seems you have the latest OS...did the problem start recently i.e. after you updated to this particular OS version? if it did, you might need to re-install the OS

What blackberry device do you use
What bb10 OS version are you on
What bbm version are you on

If you are not using the latest version of either the os or bbm then you need to update accordingly

After you did the security wipe, did you login with your bbid?

If you did then go to BlackBerry world and update your apps especially bbm

Biko iv been tryna upgrade 2 10.2, if u can recall my fone nearly crashed when I was upgrading to 10.1MR so iv automatically developed this phobia for upgrades. Ish is Glo pushed a 1GB upgrade to me, Iv used abt 7.7GB of my phone's memory(iono hw cos my media is jst abt 2GB, I dnt knw Wats consuming the other 5GB and I dnt knw hw 2 free it). So with less than 1GB space can I still do the upgrade?? Cos when I jst tried it started upgrading witawt askn 4 more space but I paused it. Or will it cause it to hang along the line demanding for more space which I dunno hw 2 create

you can't survive with 2Gb memory card in this day and age...Q5 has only 8GB internal memory and the OS itself takes up about 2GB...your pictures, music and video must be responsible for the remaining used space

with 1GB of available space only, the update might not push through....get a 32Gb or 64Gb memory card, move all your personal files to the card and you should get back your space

you need wifi or a PC with internet connection for the update

it requires internet connection...if your connection is inconsistent or is too slow, you will get that type of error

what was the error message you got when you tried to reinstall

lagdude: @walcolm,please I need to know the network that will be good to use for BB Q5,am presently using mtn on my present bb,is it advisable to use mtn on it or switch to another network,learnt that one has to subscribe 3k for bb10 before one can have access to bbm,web,skype and the likes.please need clarification.

Airtel or glo are thé two networks that allow the regular bis to work on BlackBerry 10 devices

If you stick with mtn, you have to buy the dedicated bb10 plan which is more expensive and gives lower data allowance

the highest signal I've seen with airtel is H+ which is the equivalent of 3.5G.

Depending on where you are and how strong signal strength it, you might see 3G or H

Well, they are the most generous with data and I don't think the fluctuations will be a deal breaker

It's supposed to be due to a network upgrade so I expect it should improve over time

You probably didn't allow the update to install properly and you will need to reinstall using BlackBerry Link

You need internet access on your pc for it to work

Plug the phone to the pc using the usb cable, once BlackBerry Link loads it will give you the opportunity to reinstall the OS

popplm: i subscribed to Glo BB10 package of Maximonth and still cant access the internet...my apn is blackberry.net with only 'e' showing on my Q10 network status bar...pls what can i do?

Call customers service to harass them or change your network mode to 2G
