kpnick: I really need advice my elders, I am July Aor, single applicant, I did tbills of 4 months for 3.5m as my only proof of funds. About 2 hrs ago I logged in and saw update proof of funds on my dashboard, but now there is nothing there. Nothing on my messages or my email. By the way my tbills matures today. Has anyone experienced this? Was it a technical glitch? What do you think I should do? Update ASAP. you probably liquidate into your savings account or re-invest. either way, raise CSE and upload proof (statement or new Tbills certificate). |

Prisscindy: 1. It's Sept 2016 to Sept 2019.
2. So it doesn't matter if let's say for example, I got an ITA this October and he sends the money. Then gift of deed, I show the inflow in my bank statement and also put it as a mutual deposit, same month? Yes. it doesnt. You just need to show where the lump sum came from, which is transfer from your dad (eevident in statement), and a gift deed (notarized) to prove its not a loan. |

Prisscindy: Hi gurus in the house,
I just embarked on my journey, started my evaluation with WES, will be writing IELTS next month and am not certain about some questions, though I have read through the previous threads.
1. I was working as a primary school teacher since 2016 but stopped this Sept. Can I apply as with the 3years work experience? Given that I am currently unemployed?
2. For my PoF, my dad has promised to give me money once I get the ITA, can I do the gift of deeds after ITA? Then put the money as mutual deposit? Given, I won't have 6 months for the PoF post ITA.
Kindly advise, thanks. 1. Yes, as long as period was up to 3years. I hope you had started working there before september 2016. 2. Offcourse. A gift deed from your father will do just fine. Do include statement showing inflow of the money from your dad. Do not forget a reference letter from the bank, and mutual investment certificate. You're very well on track. |

charlfay: Goodmorning everyone. Been a silent follower of this thread.
I really wish to embark on this journey but finances is a major constraint ooo, i dont even have the slightest idea of how i want to get 3.5million as proof of fund, how do y'all do the financial aspect of this journey please. Express entry on my mind since last year but i dont even want to start and get stuck because of finances along the line.
I went on WES website to see the process and price for evaluation but i am confused as to the actual price, is it $145 or $100 for the evaluation of degree please? Sometimes, you dont have to see te whole picture before you commit to a course. I'll leave you with these words to ponder on... "If we try, we might win..... if we dont try, we HAVE LOST." |

Dfavouredone: Please, let me ask one more question. Because of the waec wahala, i don't want to use WES for ECA.
So I have the option of ICES or IQAS (degree is BSc Industrial Relations and Personnel Management).
My concern is ICES is faster but don't give a soft copy, so what if the hard copy get lost in transit, while IQAS give both soft and hard copy but is slower.
Obviously, they both therefore have their own limited and disadvantages, but can someone with insight advise which is lesser 'devil' to go for?
Thanks. Waec?? Thats no longer in play. Wes do not request for waec any longer. Just get your highest qualification across to them. |

MCynthia: Hello everyone, pls I need you all to advice me. My crs is 459 and I will be loosing points in November. My questions are;
1. Any hope to get Ita with such score before November 20?
2. Should I book for medicals while waiting for ITA so I can submit immediately and have my profile locked to avoid loosing points post ITA?
3. Can I book medicals without an ITA letter and how long can I wait after payment to be invited for the lab tests?
Thanks everyone, pls answer, am very worried lately. 1. Sing this hymn with me.... "In Christ alone my hope is found He is my light, my strength, my song This Cornerstone, this solid ground Firm through the fiercest drought and storm". But seriously ... we cant say, scores might come down in the coming days. 2. No need. Like i explained earlier. 3. Yes you can. But considering your score, I'll advice you wait till ITA is sure. Dont be worried. Just chill and do the little you can. Let go and let God. |

Remark-3times (one changed)
Firstly, after I saw my result on September 20th, I paid for the next exam and contacted @blissnenye on September 21st. I paid that same day for 1 week coaching with her. I remember when I contacted her and she asked how many times I had written, I said I had no idea. She was like I shouldn’t hide that information from my tutor and I told her I wasn’t ashamed but I had no intention of counting it until I passed. @Blissnenye is the best. Also, a friend I met on this forum coached me on task 1 within the same week. Thank you so much Babatunde(we got connected because I was meant to coach him on reading but he ended up teaching me)
Additionally, for every result I did not make, I made sure I got a document ready. I Went to Alagbon for PCC when I saw Sept 7th result. I have also done medicals too. I collected my reference letter from HR after I saw my Aug 29th result. It should be noted I did all these with faith. It is only my proof of fund that is not ready and maybe choosing the right NOC.
Finally, I have to add that, for people that have written this exam more than once, it is important you don’t believe the report of friends and family who says this journey might not be God’s will for your life because of the number of times you have written it. Only believe God’s Report!!
In conclusion, Determination, Perseverance and Faith is key for this journey. Eyes on the Prize.
#Canada2019/2020. Ohh my God. I am short of words. Thats close to a million naira on ielts. You, sir, are a LEGEND. Congratulations!!! |

I included the Unique Client Number from my current visa, but I was still charged the biometrics fee. Anyone with a similar experience and would I still have to do another biometrics Yes. you'll have to give biometrics again, notwithstanding your visitor visa still valid. babyfaze514: all protocol duly observed ..... congratulations ladymarshall
I have a quick question
I've gotten a reference letter from my former place of work (i'm using the experience as my primary job Noc) but the issue is I spent three years there .... the first two years I was paid cash ...... it was later all staff had to open a bank account for salary payment ... do I need to get a cash salary payment from the company to support the reference letter and also add the statement of account from when salary started entering the account
thank you in anticipation of a response I'll advice you include everything and anything that would be of help to your application. If possible, the company could also indicate cash payment was done for the first 2years. Also get bank statements highlighting at least 6months of the one year you were paid via bank. All the best. |

ladymarshall: First, let me say a big thank you for your wishes and prayers since I first announced. I’m so overwhelmed as I type not just because of the happy shock of PPR but also because I never expected the outpouring of love. Thank you. I really appreciate you all.
Second, to those post-AOR awaiting PPR, please check your emails even as you read this script. Golden email can come at anytime like play. Only two nights ago I was so depressed at the thought of CIC, I ate only once, had a sleepless night, woke up yesterday expressing my frustration in group chats early morning until 9.05am and from nowhere, golden email came in at 9.06am. There is hope. Congrats @ladymarshall. Was stunned to see we have thesame NOC. sent you a pm please. |

samspella: Good day house.
Congrats @LadyMarshall.
Please I have a quick question as regards WES secondary (institution) verification.
I got a mail from WES that they've sent photocopies of my documents for verification both electronically and by standard postal mail, when I contacted my school they said they are yet to receive any mail from WES. Meanwhile, the email on the school letter head is @yahoo.com
My question goes does?
1. Please could it be that it is because they are using @yahoo.com that's why they didn't received the email? 2. How long will the standard mail take before it gets to Lagos? 3. People that have had this experience, please which courier service does WES works with?
Gurus in the house please help.
Thank you. hi, to your question, i'd say: 1. your school should get the mail even with a yahoo domain 2. shouldn't be more than 2weeks at most 3. I can't say. for now, i'll advice you approach your school's registrar office. someone somewhere has probably gotten the mail. |
