Forget all those xiaomi device. They are trying but not reliable like other brands. For me, its either iPhone, Google Pixel, Samsung, Huawei,LG or nothing.

I just got the Google Pixel 4a I'm really loving it, dont listen to all those benchmark review rubbish until u use it and have a real life user experience. Its just perfect for me, video recording is okay, battery last full day on internet, sound production is outstanding, fast charging. You can use 3.5 audio jack headphones or type c earphones. The usb port is 3.1, imagine the speed of transferring heavy data from your PC that is compatible. The OS even run my old winning 11 and pes game

The Google map has more outstanding features than the regular Android os, and other crazy features.

Infact as im typing this, my order for Google Pixel Buds is on its way.

OP check out Samsung Galaxy S10Lite that phone is a beast and I dont know why samsung attached 'lite' to its model. Its a 2020 device

You right on this one, most of the device that build their own software from the scratch, the likes of Microsoft Apple, Google Pixel stand the test of time and can receive software update from 3-4yrs.

Should I talk about the camera experience? The iPhone 12 would clearly beat the pixel 5 dual camera. I used an iPhone 11 and trust me it has never lagged or hooked compared to my previous Samsung galaxy S10. IOS has proven over and over that specs on sheets don’t matter as actual performance. An example is the iPhone 11 12 megapixel primary camera that is considered to be the best camera so far of 2020

Maybe in Africa, particularly Nigeria, phones an 18 year old would get in the UK or US or most European countries or some Asian countries where they can roll up a plan with their bank to cut certain amounts up to 3 years little by little the would own the phone with the twinkle of an eye, while you in a third world country would see it as feel richer.
Go to internet and see teenagers playing games with latest iPhones bought brand new from store paying little from the bank, it isn't a big deal but it is a big deal in Africa.,but it is better way to do business.

I stay in Manchester, around Moston, because good food and African shops is accessible, salon, shopping mall, business centres,food vendors, car repairs. And you can easily go to Piccadilly to have fun buy stuffs. You can visit the Manchester Arndale shopping mall where you have various shopping malls and stores. And not too far from Manchester Fort (another set for shopping malll and foodies)

Google service is essential. We use google maps alot here to track a postcode, track incoming and outgoing buses, train, tram etc. What's the essence of an iPhone without its appstore or iCloud features or android without playstore or google backup and service.
