When Nigeria was sweet was back then in the 80s and 90s.

The way things are going on in the country right now(kidnapping, banditry, religious killings, ethnic crisis) if care is not taking the economy will crash to the ground before 2050.

Living in Nigeria right now is a risk.

That's why people say if you can survive in Nigeria you can survive anywhere in the world

I travel for holidays, but I can never travel to do menial jobs...some people are born entrepreneurs/business men, but of course if you are an employee, abroad is better, but business men make money in Nigeria.

First I didn't say anything about menial jobs I don't know why you keep bringing it up.

Secondly I was talking about thier system of government and taxation policies

And thirdly abroad is not just about making money it boils down to good standard of living.

If its all about the money making in Nigeria, then politicians wont be relocating thier kids abroad for schooling and medical trips or checkups.

Someone can't read a thread In travelling section with out the thread being derailed by the pro abroad and anti- abroad people.

The OP is talking about what those staying abroad illegally pass through, it has degenerated to another abroad is good/ bad , Nigeria is good / bad thread.

When posts like this one come up, you see them coming out to say its to discourage people from travelling abroad and then they argue and argue.

Shuuu, those that will go abroad will go and those that will stay in naija will stay.

Stop talking nonsense, we do not need to live abroad to know what is happening there...Internet, cable tv etc...

Sorry you don vex, im sure if you have the opportunity to travel abroad you wont reject it.

Those complaining that abroad tax is too much tell them to come back home.

Is taxing your ass out a good thing...yes a lot stay in good estates, with clean water and 24hrs light across Lagos, Abuja and PH.

I mean they are making good use of tax been paid by the citizen. A country cant work without a good taxation policy.

If you have traveled out of the country you will understand

You don't need to go to the west to experience those things! Benin Republic has all those things!

Going to the west on those grounds is just an excuse.

How can you compare it with developed countries like China, US, UK and the rest

You are funny, do a common man in Nigeria enjoy stable electricity, good hospitals, good roads, good working taxation system

Dont mind this motivational or illusion speakers, abroad sweet ooo. But my advice to anyone travelling abroad is that...

Its easier if you have someone over there that can give you accommodation and set you up well because accomodation is very important.

But if you dont have anyone in abroad and you come all alone its gonna be difficult.

And as a student in abroad you still have to know someone for support unless you are receiving enough funds back home steady.

If you have a skill like barbing, carpentry, plumbing, cooking etc is a plus for you

Only poor and struggling people in Nigeria, travel as illegal immigrants...nothing fancy about doing menial jobs etc...richest Nigerians live in Nigeria.

Its not always about money, but good standard of living.

24/7 electricity

good roads

basic amenities and well structured infrastructures.

Why are their phones scarce in Nigeria?

I guess they selected few countries in terms of distribution, and some Nigerians dont really know about the brand yet. And google Pixel in terms of stock Android is the mother of all other android os like samsung, xiaomi, sony etc.

And the fake type of Google Pixel is very rare because its not common

I love my Google Pixel been the first time.

I will have love to get the iPhone but the restrictions are just too much for me.

When another latest Google Pixel is out, I will sell this and buy the latest one

is this brand cool? Better than gionee, xiomi. , Samsung, tecno, ?

Remove tecno, and Gionee.
The Google Pixel has longer years in terms of firmware update and resell value.

Stock Android with more equipped google features because its built by Google.

And the camera is outstanding and its built on computational camera lens.

The Google Pixel 4a camera competes with the iPhone 12.

You can check youtube and search for Google Pixel 4a vs iPhone 12 camera and see wonders

Hi nairalanders, I don't know if this is the right channel or platform to use, we've been trying to raise a fund for a friend of ours who had an accident 4 years ago, which affected her legs and other part of her joints she has made a little progress of healing but we were told she will need to undergo surgery at Igbobi. Please I will really appreciate if there is any right channel or thread to post this, thank you.

Not to sugar coat word I find those complaining about tax to be very silly.

All the development and advancement you are seeing shey it is through selfishness that brought about them? And it's not the immigrant pay a different tax compare to the citizens.

Don't mind them

Most people just want to escape the tribalistic nature of Nigeria so that they could achieve their full potential.

I tell u brother, most of these good countries like USA, Canada, UK, Australia and the rest that we all are dying for are developed by tax, if you are not ready to pay tax stay back in Nigeria that is not paying tax and under developed
