There is iota of truth in what Gen. Shehu pointed at. Recently, El-rufai has ordered and earmarked demolition of buildings all around the State with no provision of any form of relief or compensation to the victims. And his claims were, those land are government properties and as the State government the only assistance is to fund the litigation process against the person/group that sold the land to the victims.

No doubt El-rufai mean good for the state, however this is not the right way to go about it...

Hi everyone, Please I need your candid advice on this matter of the heart. There is this beautiful damsel which am really in luv with because she is kind of perfect to me. (Though we all believe there is no such thing as perfect). Everything I ever really want about a lady she’s blessed with it.
Here is where the problem lies in, we are running the same major, both mathematics. She’s a level ahead of me, she is in 300 while am in 200. She is a first class student while I’m not doing bad either.
I only fantasize a lot about her, and I couldn’t profess my love for her because I’m scared if I did, she will decline due to some flimsy excuse like “she don’t have time for guyz” or she want to face her study and the likes.
Now my question is should I go ahead and tell her? or I should wait until she’s almost done with her school, but I think if I should stick with the former I think the chances of her declining is very high while the later doesn’t guarantee I would get her
Please I would welcome any advice.

I don't think this is true, I live very close to Askolaye and everything is very calm here.

I think i made mine when i was 19. but wasnt up to 1 million. i made about 800k while working in a cafe and computer maintenance, between SS3 and 2 years of searching for university admission, but i had to settle for poly. Now i have spent most of it on school and one land investment i made. all in all i thank Almighty God.

I can totally relate to this thread. There is this friend of mine too, I am totally into her and we have been friends for over 3yrs. There were seasons when the frienship pays well (I get to touch the unmentionable) but this days nothing much is happening than the regular chit chat.
lately people have been carrying rumour that we are dating and she kind of enjoys it, even one of her sister had to call me to confirm if we are not really dating and I told her yes but she kept on saying may be am not bold enough to tell her. For me is not the boldness but the commitment, I don't really want to commit.
I thinks is time I do the needful and take the bold step.

I woke up this morning feeling good, then I decide to check one of favourite website "nairaland" but to my suprise its says server not available, I couldn't believe it, I thought it was mtn doing what they do best. I kept retrying several times but to no avail, I decide to remove my battery thinking its one of those bb problem, I try visiting a different website and it work that's when its now down on me that nairaland is down.
I felt something is missing in me, Throughout I kept retrying the page but its seems we are in for a long ride, atlast I was able to found help from google when I continue searching and it took me to nairalanad's twitter page and a temporary link was pasted there.
Nairalanders what was your reaction and how do you feel when you find out that nairaland server is down.

I couldn't agree more with OP. Nothing like true friendship between a girl and a boy, is either relationship or friends with benefit. However if you think such thing exist then believe me, thought of romance must have crept into mind of either one of them, may be he/she is not just bold enough to act it.
