A lot of people do not understand that there is huge business opportunity in connecting egg buyers and egg sellers. Marketing eggs comes with lots of investment benefits because egg is consumed on a daily basis. Many poultry farmers who produce eggs on their farms do not have the time to market in a bid to reach out to potential buyers because of the task of managing the farm. This burden is taken off by egg distributors who come into poultry farms to buy crates of  eggs at reduced price and sell to market women (who retails to end consumers) at a profit. Many industries such as baking and confectionery make use of egg as an important part of their raw materials. Production of poultry eggs is a major source of income for farmers who are into layer birds production.

Gather Your Capital
Although some farms may give you certain amount of crates on credit after you have been tested over time, nevertheless you will need to have your capital with you when starting egg distribution business. You should decide on how much crates of egg you want to start supplying based on how much capital you have raised and how large your market is. Also note that in most farms, you would get better price when you buy more.

Source For Reliable Poultry Farms
Your source of getting table eggs that you supply must be reliable. You should look for farms that can give you the eggs at competitive prices. The price of medium eggs ranges from #750-#780 per crate in major towns such as Lagos, Ibadan, Kano, Calabar, Portharcourt, Enugu and Abuja. Jumbo (Extra large or Double Yolk) goes for #830 - #880 Naira per crate.

When choosing farms to stay buying eggs from, it is important to consider the selling price, quality of eggs in terms of size and colour, distance to market and means of transporting the eggs.
 
Look For Egg Buyers (Retailers)
One of the key success in egg business in Nigeria is to grow a list of reliable egg buyers. You can get market for your eggs through market women in foodstuff market, bakeries and caterers. How much eggs you can sell should influence how much egg you buy from your source i.e. poultry farms.

Get A Warehouse/Outlet
Demand for table eggs fluctuates. Sometimes you end up buying more eggs than is eventually sold. There comes the need for an egg storage facility. An understanding of the guidelines of egg storage is important in the construction of your warehouse. Site your egg supply outlet strategically as this will give your egg marketing business the needed exposure.

In starting egg supply business in Nigeria, you can start small and grow your capital slowly. Buying and selling eggs might look strange to you but concentrate on how profitable it is. Keep yourself busy and be productive.

When it comes to buying eggs, do you reach for white eggs or brown eggs? Does colour dictate your preference? Perhaps you buy white eggs because that's what you grew up eating. Or, maybe you've been told that brown eggs are better for you, so they've become your go-to.

White and brown eggs certainly look different, and there's often a difference in price between the two. But do you know why?

The difference is in the chicken.
When it comes to hue of the egg, the key lies in the breed of chicken. In general, white-feathered chickens with white earlobes lay white eggs, and reddish-brown-feathered chickens with red earlobes lay brown eggs. There are also breeds that lay less commonly-found blue eggs and speckled eggs.

Are brown eggs better than white eggs?
The colour of an egg is not an indicator of quality. When it comes to taste and nutrition, there is no difference between white and brown eggs. Despite the fact that they're often more expensive, brown eggs aren't any better for you than white eggs, and vice versa.

Do brown eggs have a harder shell?
The shells of both colour eggs have the same thickness. If you've ever noticed that an eggshell seems tougher, it's because of the age of the chicken, not the colour of the egg. Younger chickens tend to lay eggs with harder shells, while older chicken lay eggs with thinner shells. This is true of both white and brown eggs.

Why are brown eggs often more expensive?
There's a perception that because brown eggs are more expensive, they must be more "natural" or healthier. That's not necessarily true. Brown eggs tend to have a higher price tag simply because the reddish-feathered chickens that lay brown eggs are larger than the breed that lays white eggs, and as such, they require more feed. That extra cost is offset by — you guessed it — a higher price at the grocery store.

One small caveat!
There is one small caveat, however. If you've ever eaten eggs from home-raised chickens, chances are they were brown, and you may have noticed they tasted slightly richer or had a more vibrant yolk. There's a reason for that.

Many of the chickens commonly found in backyard coops are brown egg-producers. But it's not the colour of the egg that accounts for the better taste. Rather, it's the feed that was given to the chicken. Feed plays a big role in the colour of the yolk and taste of the egg.

Bro first of all, wat part of the country did you send from? I had a similar case like yours. I sent out mails to two different provinces in Canada. They were sent out to Canada on 24th of Dec one got there on the 15th of January while the other got there on the 18th. The funny thing is thta I kept tracking it online but it kept showing item received and inserted in bag. So you may need to confirm from the person you sent the parcel to or better still call Nipost office. 08028469631 to ask them. Though you have to be patient cos it takes them awhile to pick up. Guy abeg run away from that uni. With such grade you should only aim the best universities. Contact university of british Colombia or mcgill university. I know mastercard offers post graduate scholarships at university of British columbia, so do your research.

Thanks bro. I have already applied for a 1 yr MSC mfre program at UBC. They are just waiting for me to send my references letter , although i sent it through courier on Monday but the graduate assistance there told me to upload it as that work faster.

I applied with MasterCard foundation. I just don't want this yr to waste that is why I wanna apply to another sch to be on safer side although the funds may not be there.

Am just trying to see which one will work out best.

Hello. You should try University of Manitoba. While your CGPA is good, I can't ultimately assure you funding but your chances are not bad at all. Also, the school fees aren't as high as that of some Canadian Universities.

You should at least get some funding that reduces your fees into half with this CGPA (IGSES).

For a research based masters degree, it is mandatory you get a supervisor with same research interest as yours. Here is the rundown of the process. Though there may be a slight difference based on school. 1) You apply with your statement of intent and other supporting document 2) School of graduate studies review your document 3) School of graduate studies send your document to your home department panel for review 4) If you are found academically admissible,then the department send your file to available supervisors if any available supervisor gets interested then he reviews your file and then fill a program of study form for your admission then you get admitted. But if they can not locate any supervisor for you, then they mail you informing you that though you have been found academically acceptable, but you should try and send your proposals to your prospective supervisor. If you cant get any and they cant get any, then you wont be accepted. So i normally advise people to try get a supervisor themselves before applying. If you have any more question,let me know.
