I can't imagine dat I will witness Chicken selling as high as 25/30k? Our leaders re cruel bt we re heartless. The opposition party needs to buckle up. This country needs to be saved from d hands of Tinubu nd his gang of Alibabas Na your leaders dey breed the chicken? Na your leaders dey produce feed for poultry animals abi? Na Tinubu cause am.... Na dollar exchange rate cause am? The government and Nigerian leaders have their own failures and misbehaviors but the price of food stuff is not their fault. Instead of you to blame the poultry farmers, livestock farmers, crop farmers and feed manufacturers for their greed and super profit mentality. |

However, there is no dispute about Kwara being predominantly Yoruba people but Kwara is classified as a North Central state on the basis of geopolitical zones. |

Biodun556: It is the Northerners that calf Yorubas into the North to have bigger land mass to manipulate in politics
Kwara and kogi Yorubas will be very have if boundary adjustments can be made to return them back to south west South West, North Central and other geopolitical zones are just geopolitical zones, they are often relevant I politics or for statistical data. They are not a tribe classification so I don't think it is necessary to reclassify or carve out the Yoruba speaking Kogi and Kwara people. We know the history of how Fulani took over the rule in Kwara. |

Akamon: Content writing and journalism plays a huge part in national building as the third realm of governance. A content that is not well researched and thought out can bring a nation to civil war and can deny a nation of foreign direct investment. Kperogi, I have time without number critic your content on many occasions because there are most times not well thought out and researched as Remo Omokri does his without going back on correction and partial apology. Revisiting your content put you in the class of clout seeking individuals who want to attain fame with ease. You are based in abroad and your content will easily be consumed by diaspora because of your position in the academia and your ties with your homeland, so a little mistake in your content can do a great harm to your country. Brushing off your written mistake by a wave of hand is not accepted but a total change in approach to your writing without bias is advised. Research forms the bedrock of every genuine content rather than hearsay which can reduce your journalism to a mere beer parlour conversation. Keep up your good work but a change in your approach is highly recommended. Do not join the queue of illiterate journalism we have in Nigeria social media and renown Television stations, all interest is the click, like and traffic. Mr Kperogi was only being rhetorical, consciously or otherwise. His second article was a clever attempt to re-emphasize his earlier article. |

erniok: I'm a country with diverse cultures such as ours, regionalism would always play out. Imagine bringing the technocrats from the south to head sensitive positions in government. Would you be surprised if the north cry of marginalisation tomorrow? The North started this trend under Buhari's government, they should endure it too because other people watched as they did it for 8 years under Buhari. That is my observation |

Greenlandz: Thanks for the clarification Mr Kperogi!
I am Yoruba from Ilorin but If you labelled me a northerner, you're also right. If I called myself a Yoruba guy, I am also right.
God bless Nigeria

Happy first Sunday family 🥰 Mr Kperogi's attempt at clarification still corroborates his earlier view: From his explanation and opinion of most people on this platform, Bayo Ojulari is a Yoruba man who happens to be of North Central origin. Don't forget that North Central is a geopolitical zone not a tribal group. The Kwara people are predominantly Yoruba people. That means the allegations of Mr Kperogi are still founded by his clever attempt to deflect his earlier assertions. I wonder why he is trying to clarify his opinion anyway. I don't really blame Tinubu because Buhari showed everyone that he didn't care about the federal character in his selections for service in his government and the various MDAs under his government. Never has nepotism been so bad as it was under Buhari. Was it the recruitment done in FIRS, NPA but to mention a few, under Buhari's government. When you set a dangerous precedence, you should know that it may turn around to bedevil you. I am somehow not bothered that Tinubu seems to be serving the North back the nepotism and sectional recruitment and administration that they visited on Nigeria. I know this may just be the beginning. Everyone that becomes president of Nigeria will always want to select his trusted folks, especially for sensitive positions, in his government going forward. It has become a precedent contrary to federal character - federal character seem to have been dumped. |

BoldBrainz: Good thing you said "had".
Whatever migrants were instrumental to building the US have long been assimilated into the American society, so that's an eternally porous point of argument.
The country reserves every right under the sky to deport any illegal migrants at this point. Should they sit back and watch their society collapse from the influx of migrants simply because they want to please you and your ilk? Abeg get real! Building process is continuous, a lot of your Nigerians, documented and otherwise, are doing several jobs in the USA which means they are adding value. They are being taxed and the ones that are not taxed are earning less that minimum wage hence the company or person that employed them is still benefiting from them (they are able to pay them less because they are undocumented however, the job is done and value is added). Your point in bold letters is well taken and accepted by me but I don't agree with you that their society is collapsing due to influx of migrants. There are jobs in USA, most white and blue collar jobs are reserved for their citizens and a few documented migrants that have high value however, most jobs undocumented migrants take in the USA are brown collar jobs, casual and menial jobs. They are jobs that most Americans don't want to do but those undocumented migrants do it to make money. It is all about the Benjamins. Typical American would prefer to be on social Security scheme of being paid monthly stipends for upkeep and doing online jobs from the comfort of their homes or parlor. However, undocumented migrants are hustlers, they hustle hard because they plan to return home some day or perfect their documentation in USA someday and be able to afford mortgage and assets by then with funds saved. They also have responsibilities to family and folks too so they take any job available. |

You can eat a baboon that it's head is like your own, ozuor. Foolish boy! Yes I can. I am proud to say I can, if you are pained about it na you sabi. What is your problem? People eat dogs, snakes, frogs and so many other strange animals and food. Let me also state that it is not peculiar to Nigeria or africa. Do you know the various strange meats and delicacies that Chinese people eat? That is what they wanna eat, not into your mouth but their mouth; belly. Why is there a word like "Cannibal"? It is used to describe the act of eating humans because it is still meat anyway. You have not heard of people eating other people during war times, hunger and famine, people lost at sea? Some people from your South East (Ngwa people) even eat humans as normal delicacy. Why are you acting like a pussy over food, as in - meat! Baboon meat is good meat, if you don't like it then find another meat. You don't have to eat it but don't disturb other people that eat it. Period! You are becoming a nuisance on this thread. What exactly is your problem? Just talking without sense. |

BoldBrainz: It's not mandatory to play host to undocumented migrants. If the host country decides to deport such elements, their origin nations should make plans to integrate them into the society, not threaten the country being plagued by the illegal migrants scourge. How is the USA 🇺🇸 plagued by these migrants? The USA that you see today had a significant contribution to nation building by migrants, including the undocumented ones too. |

Ape is a primate so are humans.
Even Lions don't eat Tigers, cheetahs or leopard even after they kill each other, because they are from Cat family. They don't eat each other, except in rare cases of cannibalism. Dogs don't eat wolves and vice versa.
Something you share 99% DNA with is what you call meat?
You are ignorant, Lions can't know better than you man, a human should know more! You are very stupid. Is a baboon human? Is baboon part not meat? If you can't eat it, that will be your business. I can eat it and I don't care what you think about it. All I know is that it is meat when properly processed and cooked. I will eat it.
