PTDF scholarship is not meant to be a gateway for you to escape from Nigeria.
The aim is for you to go study, then come back and develop the country.
So I think this your post is not just nonsense, it shows that you don’t understand the philosophy behind the scholarship scheme.

The return home policy is for how many years?

Thank you for submitting your application for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, it is now part of our review process. 

A University of Edinburgh Selection Committee will meet in February-March 2018 with an aim to interview shortlisted candidates in March 2018. 

If you are shortlisted for an interview, you will be contacted to arrange a suitable interview time. Interviews will take place either in person, one of us will be in your country, through Skype or phone. 

If you are not shortlisted for an interview, you will receive an email to inform you that your application has not been successful. 

The scholarship winners will be announced in March-April 2018. 

Please do not apply for admission to the University before the scholarship decisions are announced, unless you are applying for other scholarships in the University of Edinburgh. 

The successful Mastercard Foundation scholarship applicants will be supported by the MCF Team through the process of admission and will not need to pay any fees.
