Philadelphia: I see a bunch of selfish people on this thread. People are asking questions about admissions and assistantships but are being ignored by the ones who are either trying to book interview dates or have gotten visas. The general mentality is that the person will come and take the portion of his own assistantship or funding. It’s just like some dude here who went to US to study with borrowed money and refused to come back then got married either hook or crook to be able to stay grounded there but they are now preaching for some folks with different advice not to leave naija and study abroad instead of telling them how to do the right thing that will work out for them. They even go extra miles to condemn people with good intention plans, I wonder if the plan ain’t friendly why haven’t dey return Naija I hail oooooo |

To all those who wanted discounted offer for either GRE or TOEFL, you can indicate or PM me if you want to partake.
Please take note that is not by force but by choice because some benevolent guys on the US student visa thread initiated this to assist or help those who wanted to do it and get funding or scholarship but just for limited number of people. |

space1: Good afternoon everyone, please who can put me through on writing GRE and TOEFL.
I’m actually new to this and I want to go for my MSc Economics in the US my Bsc Economics CGPA is 3.93/5
Please any suggestions about schools with or without funding options will be appropriated
@walspring I can read people’s comments about you. Any advice from you will be appreciated. There are plenty schools out there that grant full or partial funding but you will need to register for GRE and TOEFL then ace it since Msc is very competitive. |

jhidey08: Okay, thanks. So where do you advise I chose, I’m expected to resume by Spring 2021 and I reside in Abuja. I’m only worried with the fact that there are no dates available in Abuja (as posted by people here) before January. I advise you follow your mind and spirit ooo Come thinking of it, imagine the stress of going to Lagos if you are to pick Lagos and compare to abuja where you reside. What part of abuja do you stay ? Just follow your mind |

Newdawn123: Are you really sure about this? Can't I first send them a message before requesting for an expedited interview? Please send them message first to be sure because my earlier post was the process before pandemic locked down and it might have change so email them to know the latest update on that. |

Lildairo: The earliest date I saw now for Abuja is March 2nd.
This is very funny because my sch. start date is January 13th.
Does this mean that one should book the appointment, then request for expedited appointment? Because, according to their site, you must have already scheduled an appointment before you can request for expedited (emergency) appointment.
Just confused. Don’t be confused, you can just book and request for emergency date since your school is resuming in January 2021 and early date will be given to you. |

jhidey08: Please can one change from Abuja to Lagos in case there’s another emergency opening in Lagos? You can’t unless you cancel the appointment first and then start the application afresh where you will have to pick a new location either abuja or Lagos. In one word is not possible because you will lose the date your picked before. |

ajaoakeem200000: I understand brother, but my concern is about the sevis number they generate for me, will the school with funding generate another sevis number for me or it I’ll have to use that sevis number that was generated by the school without funding? Please your response is warmly appreciated All the schools generate sevis number for all their student that they gave admission to and you should not be bother about that too much because there is not harm having 3 school generated sevis number for you because at the end you will only make use of one sevis ID while the other school will cancel their since you didn’t attend or resume to their school Deal with school that gave you funding and use their sevis number to apply for appointment, Ful ds160 and pay sevis fee on it. |

ajaoakeem200000: I got admission into three schools, and I got Funding in only one, the other two without funding. and the one without funding already generate Sevis number and I-20 for me. I want you to guide me on this. Will I abandon the Sevis and I-20 and ask the school with funding to generate theirs?, thanks in awaiting your kind response m Congrats and what a wonderful good news. Accept all the admission and just go for the one that gave you funding and pay your sevis fee on the sevis number generate for you by the school that gave you funding. |

IrishCrown: Hello all
Can I fill the Lagos emergency visa appointment even when my 1-20 is not ready?
Thank you. If you can tell your school send you scan copy of your i20 or send you your sevis number and school code, you can use that to book appointment and fill ds160 and generate coupon payment for sevis fee while you await the original copy of the i20 to arrive to your door step in Nigeria. |

websta: Help Guys, My program was to start in May with my appointment scheduled in March. Please, I don't know how to start up things again. Should I request for new I-20 form from my school, then request for new admission letter? I guess you saying may 2020 which has gone for good. Just tell your school that you want to defer your admission for spring 2021 or Summer 2021 or fall 2021 and a new i20 will be issued for you with a new program date as well. Well I think you can still meet up with spring 2021 if you make the call this week and start the processing |
