You can't edit ds160 form after submission..

Nothing happen to the appointment you already scheduled, what you will do is to send a feedback mail from the appointment site that you want to update your new ds160 and remove the old one. some weeks or months ago someone claimed that applicants can now update it online themselves but i doubt it for now.

My parent have valuable properties with low inflow (Low account balance now, they spent on my elderlys of recent) at the moment, but my account is very much better. Can I present my account even though my parents are sponsoring me?

If you have an adviser telling you such then your adviser is not advising you well

Realistically in the Nigeria we live in how much can a 19year old have .....legimately and legally where does a 19 year old get enough money to the point of been able to sponsor especially when it doesn't appear to be inheritance money .

My sister's husband didn't take the SAT exam and he was given a Visa. I want to follow his footsteps, I'm just scared because people are saying I must take SAT and he said he only took TOEFL and that I shouldn't sit for SAT.

What worked for Mr A might not work for Mr B.

Hello guys, this has been a very interesting thread so far. I thank everyone who has contributed to the success of this thread, you all don't know the great work you are doing and how many lives have been blessed by your act of kindness.

I would like to study in the US. I am 22years of age and I want to study at Utah Valley University. I have my waec certification and other documents relating to my high school. The problem here is that I don't have the means to sit for SAT and I would love to go for TOEFL alone. I have 2 sisters in the US and an Uncle in Nigeria who are ready to sponsor my education.

My questions are..

1) Is it possible to be granted a Visa without sitting for SAT, even if the school didn't ask for it?

2) What are my chances of getting approved, due to my age and other things I mentioned above?

3) I am really new to this and I wouldn't want to make any mistakes. If there are any tips or advice you could add it will be deeply appreciated. Thank you once again.

Please house, I just noticed something. While I was booking my visa appointment, I noted that I will like to depart Nigeria on the 10th of January, 2018. However, I was just reviewing my I-20 now only to discover that 10th January is stated for compulsory Orientation for Freshers/ New students. I wish to know if there is a problem with this? Thank you.

You will have to refill a new ds160 form and update it back on your appointment interview page so that it will match

Sevis ID is on your I20 and it starts with N00xxxxx and you can fill visa application form before pay for sevis fee and you just need to be care when doing the calculation for sevis payment so that you won't end up not paying before going for interview

have done research but am not cleared. some say Lagos and Abuja only while some include pH and other state.

Yes you can get available date less than a week if applicants are not rushing this time around.

You can only view first available date for interview if you didn't pay visa fee but if you pay, you will see all the dates available.
