After much denial i was fed up and just didn't want to apply again,but my brother urged me. I did,and this time i was FURIOUS and determined i will not waste 64k. [b]2 months before interview i fasted 3 days dry... on day 2,exactly at 3pm,[/b]there i was telling myself,...egn,it's not yet time,...i broke the fast...haaa! Was this not the devil playing me? Fast-foward to 4 days to interview. I fasted the dry and i didn't break inbetween....Lol.

I prayed and cried my heart out to God. Thus time around i researched very ,very well,knowing the number of credit hours...the schools history..

i was disarrayed and unprepared mentally ,but God was prepared.

Here's what was funny,it was as if this bros,didn't want to ask me questions.It was as if he had made up his mind.
He asked me about my brother,i said the same nonsense,but this same guy who denied me for that reason,approved me. Now tell me why won't God be praised. Abeg help me thank God.

For thise applying:
This is a matter that needs utter concentration. No be joke. Treat it like a joke and it'd show you it's funny.
Olease read this few advice...:
1: Pray,pray and pray more...as my pastor says,'you can never overpray you can only under pray'
2. Don't cram o... You will regret it.Understand what you are saying ,because if they ask you question,you'd feel like a faulty car with no breaks.
3. Oractice ,practice and more practice...
4. Don't read testimonies and fail to remember you haven't gotten yours.
5. Be google friendly, the people here have their lives and remember you are not thr only one trying to get yours.
6..... The God that did mine,will do yours,if you have good intentions for going. God bless you and have a wonderful year.

I think its just a system error from their end there and I believe they will give your sister a call or mail her that's if they have her details.

Or

Try inform your sister the new development so she can give the WU center a call on what's on ground.

Ask her of WU give her receipt then it was successful and not a system error... If not then payment was not success

DHL should be able to pick up from the school directly

Some schools don't accept pick up like that since they asked for courier fee from applicants

I guess it is time to take a backseat but before I do so, let me share this.

When I joined this thread, my first 3 questions were ignored I felt pained and decided to start reading from part 1. By the time I got to part 4, I was so confident that I'd end up getting my visa I also got all the answers to my questions. I've met a lot of people on this thread and more often than not, our problem is a lack of sincerity For instance, there's a lot of people that emailed me for a mock interview. It was crystal clear that they weren't going to school but when I asked them, they lied. Please, how do you want such people to be helped? I don't mind if you're 'running away', not everyone is meant to go to school but try and be sincere in all your dealings.
Most people here want to be spoonfed, like seriously There's a lot of answers by just typing your questions on Google.
Also, I think I have said it before, we hate being told the truth. You'd warn people against applying to certain schools and they'd hate you. You encourage them to rewrite standard exams and they flair up. Well, I know some people have learnt their lessons (I won't mention names).
There was a time on this thread someone was denied a visa and she started blaming people for not replying her PMs. All of us here are adults, if you can't handle responsibilities like this, I wonder how you'd cope studying or working over here. I don't wanna bore you with my post.

I know the pick up location is DHL office at wuse 2, usually 2 working days after the interview but I don't know the time; whether it's morning or afternoon?

You pay sevis fee after you have been granted admission and your i20 has been issued

My school wants to send my i20 and for them to my i20; they need Affidavit of support/Scholarship letter. Now they sent the Affidavit form for my sponsor to fill, in the form there a place they said "The University requires that this document be notarized (Affidavit form). Faxes of this document will be accepted."

Please, I need help how do I go about this Affidavit of support, I was hoping they will request bank statement, but they didn't, they asked for the affidavit of support.

You can get this done at any federal high court around and it should be less than 1k

Nice point on this but not all school gives fee waiver and who know if the school he is planning to apply to give waiver or not.

The truth his if he has Gpa, GRE/Toelf , SOP then he won't waste his resources or cash on 10 schools.

we need to be wise because when someone who doesn't meet admission requirement and keeps applying to over 10 universities, it is certain that the student is wasting his or or money.

It's better for him to check that the school required maybe he has it or not before applying.

Is it possible to change the SEVIS information after payment is made, before going for the visa interview at the embassy?

what i mean is a filled SEVIS for school A and paid the Sevis fees, but got a better admission with GA a week later from school B and would like to change the details of my SEVIS Record before the Interview date.

What can i do here?

Yes very possible and you can transfer the sevis payment if that is the question all you have to do is to email sevp/DHS for them to get this done for you.

As I am aware that no one is allowed to enter the united states with a passport that has less than 6 months before it expires. Everyone is aware of the passport wahala right now in Nigeria. What do you all think about applying to the embassy with a passport with less than 6 months for it to expire (so as to meet up for September resumption) while waiting to get the new one which can then be used together after getting the visa to be shown to them at the P.O.E.

Well you can take the risk for visa interview but one thing I know for sure is that you can't travel out of a country with passport expiring date less than 6 months

I have been here long before and back again to strike. I applied back in 2013 undergrad but got denied. I wish to apply for MSC electrical. I have a good grade now.

I plan to apply to about 10 schools, but unfortunately transcript in my university cost -#20k. This means to apply to 10 schools it will cost me 200k, whilst local transcript cost just #7k. Is it possible for me to apply for the local transcript,send to a known co-cooperate address I currently work and then send directly to the universities I wish to apply. What is the implication. Thank you guys

I hope you is not because you read a success transcript of someone who told the VO that he applied to 10 schools and you want to do copy cat.

Anyway if yo evaluated your transcript and send to 10 schools you will spend less than 150k if my calculation is not wrong
