Ol'boy you better go get some education because you don't really understand the meaning of education, talkless of talent. |
Mr Man, always get your facts right, Diezani has never been minister of works. She was the transport minster. |
Chuksgeo: @ OP U R very correct, this is why a lot of engineering structures in Nigeria dont last, thus U see buildings falling here and there, machines breaking breaking down not so long after purchased or installed and a lot of poor proffessional maitainance strategy. Engineers are naturally creative thus younger engineers ought to have coupled their creativity with mordern technology but in Nigeria the reverse is the case because the older Engineers fear loosing their job to them thus their weldare is opposed,U can imagine ENGINEERS TEACHING DURING NYSC. . .Please stop exposing your ignorance.NYSC members are not engineers but graduates of engineering. |
Unless you are mistaking engineers for technicians.I hear this kind of question often from laymen and don't blame them because they don't understand that what they are expecting the engineer to do for them is actually the job of a technician, when you tell them that the job of an engineer is basically DESIGN, that confuses them the more because you can only understand what is meant by engineering design if you have carried out one before, and that is why COREN will only certify you an engineer when it has been verified that you understand engineering principles by carrying out a design and can defend your design philosophy, these are things a technician cannot fanthom. |
She wrote waec at the age of twenty-three, she must have been the mama of the class. |
Chai, people can be so gullible that is why some idiots can come out to a public forumn like this to defend the semi-illitrate fraudster of a governor.I am from Imo State, infact I came back from my village today and nothing is going on in Imo State in terms of infrastructural development. The big mouth is only good in propaganda and showmanship and I wonder why Imo state that prides itself as home of intellectuals will have such a buffoon for a governor. |
thekrafter: Haha. OK. Thank you, intelligent man.Bleep off, you are a fool who thinks he knows everything.I said I doubted if it was congestion because of my experience on the site. What if it is an internal arragement by the owners of the site to ward off traffic. But you seem to be sure it is congestion, because you built the site and administer it, moreover you started insulting your father. |
thekrafter: Not true. The fact is if you really think you will ask yourself why the congestion did not occur at the application stage and previous years. |
thekrafter: Sorry. No vex. But if you don't think think it's congestion, or the number of site visitors causing these problems, then you should have your common sense checked. It's running low.Ol boy you must be an e.diot.I have been checking that site for some days even before the May 1 to no avail. If it is congestion do you think the administartors don't have the capacity to deal with it. |
thekrafter: Not true.Did you try to visit the site last week? Pls what is the truth? |
jennykadry: Hahahahahahahahah. Why won't it be congested, when the whole world including the whole nigerians are busy in the cyber cafes and at home checking the resultsI doubt if it is as a result of congestion. The site has been down for over a week now. |
The site has been down for the past one week. |
jennykadry:With this your brain, your husband takes your so called "advise" at his peril. Sagamite is absolutely right,it is just the problem of women and their entitlement mentality. This woman should be thankful for what she is being offered. |
This man is funny. He will pay university students 100000 Naira while IMSU remains on strike.Showman Governor Rochas, you cannot decieve all the people all the time. |
I am not surprised about people singing the praise of Rochas to high heavens as it is a known fact that the majority of people are gullible and do not really take time to think over issues.People would rather swallow anything churned out by anybody that they have come to see as their messiah and rochas being a master manipulator is using this to project his ambition of becoming the president of Nigeria. This man keeps making loud promises without fulfilling anything and some idiots would want to force it down the throats of others. He is taliking about giving scholarships to university students and paying bursaries when IMSU is still on strike.Does that make sense? This man is nothing but a fraud. |
Your English is truly that of a HND holder. Any BSc holder who writes such a post filled with such scandalous grammatical errors must have graduated from a polytechnic with a BSc. ![]() Another self-deluded zombie. So because you are thought how to screw a light buld in makes you better than the man who designed, manufactured and would improve on the light bulb abi?! ![]() My friend go to a university and learn how things are made and not how to install ready-made things. ![]() Hmmm!! Indeed you need enlightenment. Polytechnic produces enterprenuers, but University produces CEOs of multinational and fortune 500 companies. ![]() And its a lie that companies do not employ HND holders cos I know for a fact that they do.
You seem to forget that enterprenuers established and own these multinationals and fortune 500 companies and employ the CEOs.So would you rather be employer or employee. What I have observed here is that poly graduates wallow in self defeating inferiority complex while the uni graduates bask in false sense of superiority.Going to Uni or poly does not guaranttee anything, more than any thing else self development can take a person to any height. Most times you will find out that what obtains in the field is a different ball game from what was taught in the uni or poly. However, poly graduates have the right to speak out against the obvious discrimination in the system especially by the same government that established the polytechnics and this for those who are most interested in paid employment. |
tellwisdom:You are a lunatic! The guy made a very good point from his experience which I will also corroborate. I had the grace of God immediately I took the decision to get married and my finances took a quatum leap from a single deal.I think little boys of your age should not get into discussions of this kind. |
@Lasinoh How much do think it would cost for a week family vacation ( family of three, couple and eighteen month old baby). Please kindly do a break down of the cost including air fares to and fro lagos, hotel and tours. |
@poster FYI, Boyloaf is a mechanical engineering graduate, how can you say he does not have any qualification?Investigate well before you open ur mouth to spew trash. |
From the information you have given, it is most likely your are from the Itsekiri tribe, mostly found in Delta State of Nigeria.Ask your mother if she was ever in touch with any other of your father's relatives in any part of the world and contact them. You can also make enquiries through the Nigerian embassy in Germany armed with your birth certificate. You can visit Nigeria any time the industrial action is over coming now may not be very smooth for you, but you have to be careful who you contact especially on this forum.Goodluck. |
suxes2006:You still don't? In that case I don't think you were competent to have answered in the first place. Moreover, the question was not meant for you but churchil. Thanks |
suxes2006:Well, I was refering to your response to my question (1) to churchill stated in the comment below. WaltherPPK:I hope you understand now. |
Can anyone help me make a choice between TOEFL AND IELTS for post graduate studies? Please give reasons. |
Can anyone help me make a choice between TOEFL AND IELTS for post graduate studies? Please give reasons. |
suxes2006:Please why do you think all will be better? |
victorazy:Hungry monkey. |
@churchil I must commend you for your answers which are quite informative and helpful.I intend to do a masters programme in Germany, however am considering going with my wife and kid (who is barely a year),please I would like you to do justice to some of the questions I have, 1. Would it be better to process my visa first before theirs (my wife & child) or would it be easy to do all together? 2. My wife has not really had any working experience after her first degree, so am considering the language course for her, can you recommend any school? 3.What kind of jobs (regardless of quailification) are readily available on part time for a student? Thanks |
With the economy currently in shambles, that must be an insult to Nigerians. |
