Audacius:Congrats on your graduation. Serious adverts for admission ongoing. So I expect school fees to increase though there will be plenty admission places. |
Eku market ooooo Invoice for 'school fees' will be sent out soon. Those affected should get ready to pay. |
debeey87:Many are just doing kalo kalo. Tuition fees will be collected then eye go clear. Eku market ooo |
bigjay01:But prices will be adjusted for the Bonus! Not sure why people buy on the news of a bonus. |
bigjay01:Why ? |
YourhealthNG2:You are RESPONSIBLE for your actions. This is an anonymous/faceless forum with people with various agenda |
Mcy56:I render no subscription service ooo ![]() |
currentprice:RIP SMN ![]() But there is FREE education now. Sometimes someone else may pay the tuition on your behalf ![]() |
swilo:Pickin wey never suffer talk say him get sense, who be him teacher? Eku market oooo |
Eku market ooo ![]() |
RabbiDoracle:Teachers pay constitute the greatest draw on a School's resource. Crisis has not passed in Nigeria oo. We are just starting. Not close to the peak at all. Consulted for a leading school in PH. Teachers were told to pick between half salary in April and May or full salary in April and no salary in May. They picked full salary in April. Now that may is here they are wondering whether they will get paid in May. My question is where will the money come from? Employees need to consider the business when making demands. It is like a pilot resigning from Virgin. Which airline will employ him now? This is a problem affecting the sector as a whole! |
RabbiDoracle:Better to be upfront with people. What you have wrote is ideal provided he himself has the liquidity. Dont forget, he will require school fees to pay salaries. With school not in session no school fees. He should have a meeting with the workers, let them know the challenges (transparency) and together work out a solution. |
E ku market ooo. The most important thing in this era is CARE. So let us CARE for one another. I believe everyone is doing fine. Stay at home except you got no option. Maintain social distance and BOOST your immune system. Most will get infected (just a matter of time). Most will be asymptomatic and will get well without any drug or medication. Conquer the fear. Next is CASH preservation. The market is irrational. You see a share with almost 20% dividend yield, <3 PE and you are looking at stocks with PE of infinity? I dont think you have CASH preservation in your dictionary. There will be many job losses. Some will have to take pay cut to remain in jobs. This is a global phenomenon. But do you know what? Some companies are going to BENEFIT from this crisis. Some will supply the vaccines. Some will supply the surgical masks and gloves. Research that instead of monitoring prices every minute and giving yourself high BP. The patient dog eats the fattest bone. HAPPY INVESTING. |
pluto09:It was obvious that the bull had no basis. Our economy is in dire shape. Devaluation is imminent. (CBN will delay till next year). Recession beckon. I pity the economic team. Salaries will be owed. There will be job losses. For us it is more of the price war than the corona pandemic. Saudi Arabia and Russia are trying to push Shale Oil companies out of business. This will affect the economy of USA with the banks feeling the heat. So expect a fight back. That said, people will over react. Stocks will become ridiculously cheap. So great opportunity is here for fundamentally sound stock especially those that are toast of foreign investors. People will make a KILL |
Eku market oooo |
OakPearl:We have different threshold. Unfortunately when people join a forum like this, they dont understand that our risk profile differs. So when you follow someone with different risk profile, when the risk materializes then response will be different. When people use SHORT TERM funds for LONG TERM INVESTMENT because someone told them of a 50% return in 2 weeks what do you think will happen? Then you have people averaging down and the more they buy the lower the market goes! How patient can they be after they've spent rent and school fees money to buy shares expecting to make 50% in 6 months only to be at 25% loss! Then you have those that don't fully understand the strategic reason behind some moves. You have people buying illiquid stock to get on the board. No plan to sell. Now you joined because it was gaining 10% everyday with the hope of selling! You suddenly discover that what you have is paper profit because no one is BUYING ![]() People need to develop a plan and follow the plan. Yes you can update your plan BUT don't do follow follow because of our risk profile, objective etc are DIFFERENT. Know yourself and UNTO thyself be TRUE |
The problem with people like Obabolujo was that they promoted the stock market as a 'risk free' investment. The inefficiencies and lax regulation make people to buy 'dead' companies and still make 'money' Life has a self adjustment mechanism. The bubble must always crash. NSE was made to look like a scam. Those that understood the nature of stock market investing left very early. The so called 'experts' got trapped and have their fingers burnt. Some knew that it was a scam (just like NOSPETCo, MMF etc) but they planned to beat the system so they joined and get trapped in. Obabolujo an co got involved in insider trading and the public offer and right offer scam with active support by the brokers and banks! Most of them are conflicted. I still remember Proshare coming to SMN to argue about OandO spewing rubbish. I don't think he believed the rubbish but likely on payroll of OandO to launder their image. I think Obabolujo himself was ignorant about so many things. He did not intentionally start out to mislead people! People need to get back to understand what stock market investing beyond the kalo kalo and quick money making venture that people are after! Building wealth is a PROCESS. Most people that 'jam' wealth overnight almost always lose the wealth! Follow the PROCESS. No one should blame Obabolujo when it was obvious that they got overtaken by their GREED |
sellydion:What will bring the FPI back? That's the main signal to look for. |
emmanuelewumi:Do the PFA's have N500b NEW cash to invest that will cause this month long bull run? After the month long bull run what will happen? 11 month bear run? Eku market |
emmanuelewumi:The question is how much is already invested in the market and how much NEW funds do they have that is available for investment. |
Mcy56:Happy New Year ma. |
pluto09:The fundamentals of the economy has not changed. Bull is mainly driven by FPI which for now are not finding Nigeria attractive. Local investors (PFA) are behind the current movements but they don't have unlimited funds. So, time to be fully invested BUT the bulls may not come as quickly as some are expecting. |
maishai:Where is the BULL oooo BULL in the China shop ![]() |
ukay2:My brother, thanks for this. I am doing fine sir. Happy New Year (and Happy New Decade) to you all. Eku Market. Welcome to Bears and Bull ![]() |
pluto09:Not a BAD result as they are trying to clean up the books of their Nigerian operation. I however think there are BETTER meat in this NSE bush ![]() |
Eku Market ooo |
tobao:Mine is to WARN. Yours is to be careful or IGNORE. It is a matter of choice. |
Timtol:My brother, I know what I am talking about. Deal with him with CARE. On this particular build and his Lakeview build, he soiled his name and reputation. It is water under the bridge now BUT be warned. |
yom2:He is a Chartered accountant |
Yayira:Why will anyone want to be an advisor? Chief of Staff or NOTHING ![]() Do we need the ministers ? |
Mcy56:Busted ke? Just trying to understand the help he really need. Some may be able to offer him free apartment etc Maybe we should have a GET HELP/GIVE HELP section (not MMM ooo ) |
