They are not stupid for sure. Very unlikely that they will list under current condition. Rumors is linking this to some political maneuvering. |

ogedanny: Morning guys, buy NEM Insurance, here is why you shouldn't ignore the stock and my fair value estimate.
See NEM analysis - https://nigerianstockstobuy.com/nem-insurance-stock-price/
Also available on Yochaa App. Except you are Eaton that would like to control NEM not sure why you will be buying NOW. What are you seeing in NEM at N3.00 that was not evident when it was selling at N0.80? I will not put a BUY on NEM at this price. BUT Eaton bought at N4.00. Yes they did. They will make their money from other things so you can't compare yourself with them. Disclaimer: NEM is a substantial part of my portfolio and selling as part of portfolio re-balancing |

deepsuk: thought of the day.
to all the oracles and so called gurus on this forum, god punish you today and tomorrow for misguiding people into buying into dis stock market.
if will never be well with you today and tomorrow.
this message is on behalf of all the people who lost their livlihood trusting the scammers and criminals on this forum who pose as investment advisors. Interesting BUT 1) Stock market is by definition for LONG TERM investment. So how long has your investment lasted before the loss of livelihood? 2) Do you see investment in stocks as BUYING a company/business? If YES, is that COMPANY still in operation? Is that company still profitable? Is that company still paying dividends? Is that company still growing? If YES to all the above, you've got nothing to worry about. 3) LASTLY never us SHORT TERM funds for LONG TERM investment. Please, market will always go up and down. Never believe anyone who tells you he/she is able to time the market. Expectations MUST be managed. |

musty00: It's important for people to read the article so that those who think that election uncertainties have no impact may start having a second thought, and adjust their plans accordingly. We are affected more by emerging-market sell-off caused foreign investors to shun assets than anything else! Check other emerging markets where there is no election to better appreciate the issues. |

Mcy56: Boss, money is not lost unless one sells at loss. Those that were there years ago didnt die afterall Besides, I follow my mind mostly when doing things not really because someone says it. Of course, I guide my decisions sometimes with info gotten. Because Union Diagnostics is VERY illiquid, SELLING may be a problem. Even if you make a 'profit' you may not be able to SELL. There are many stocks like that. So factor that into your strategy. That's why I said it may be a 'paper profit'. I think someone said he tried selling for TWO years! |

austinkenneth: @Yayira There is nothing wrong with predicting that a stock will go down.
Stocks can either go up or down. Why are people only happy when the prediction is in the upward direction?
From Yok's posts, we could all see the handwriting on the wall in the past months: Massive sells from the foreign guys...It's not about fundamentals, it is election fever. If they are selling that much, something will have to give: Prices will go lower.
GT is the biggest component of the MSCI Nigeria index. They haven't been dumping it so much. The price of GT in the next months will depend on whether or not they decide to dump it. It isn't about fundamentals. Same for all stocks in that portfolio.
Do not be caught offside. Better protect yourself.
He who has ears, let him hear. I don't think it is election fever. The risk associated with election in 2019 should be much lower than it was in 2015. What is happening is money moving out of emerging markets due to increase in interest rates in developed world. Check other emerging markets where there are no election. It is the usual 'herd' mentality of fund managers. What situation like this does is to throw up bargains. We should LEARN to sell to the 'foreign' guys and not BUY from them. They will soon be back. Just ensure you have enough 'loot' to sell to them. Those looking for 'quick' bucks may be disappointed BUT if you are in it for the 'long' term, start the acquisition of some lovely stocks now. Strong fundamentals. Good business strategy. Good corporate governance. Stocks that are market leaders or positioned for strong growth. |

Mcy56: Hhmmm....it is well. This market is not looking at faces at all. That's why I just took some negative comments on penny stocks, especially uniondac with a pinch of salt 'cos the mighty self are falling, so, its not a matter of running down any stock with mouth around this time. Most if not all, are affected. Uniondac like other few ones recorded profit, which is a good development afterall, considering the many economic and socio-political instability the country is facing. I'm however not against cautioning at all. Have you tried selling? Don't bank on paper profits ooo |

Not many will believe that Notore is not worth that price because they have come to trust the judgement of the parties to the transaction. Not many are wise to look into the financials. Deadlytruth: You have forgotten COSTAIN the all time record breaker which rose from N0.68 in 2006 to N88 in 2008 - almost 13,000℅ gain. Those were really crazy moments on NSE. When the bubble finally burst in 2008 it was a merciless cascade of daily losses. If you know the Costain roundabout you will know whether to BUY Costain shares or not. Anyway, we are very far from 2008 levels |
