So he can respect CCT but not abide by the order of court of appeal restraining the court from making any orders that would affect the res?

Yes the CJN accepted and gave a written admission. Do you know that the law says that once a person who has admitted to a breach of the rules or non compliance with the Act admits a reference to the tribunal would not be necessary?

There is every possibilities that the CCT sent a letter to the presidency at 8:00am and Appeal court gave theirs around 12pm.

And moreover appeal is trying to stop the trial not the suspension dear.

He has admitted committing the crime ..... the next line of action was suspension from attending to court matters, in other to continue with the trial that the appeal court stopped.

The issue here is that of due process. In truth, people do not care about CJN if due process is followed, but we care about democracy. We cannot have a tyrant in office who does not respect the constitution.

Buhari’s orders should be disregarded or better still, the senate should step in to save Nigeria’s democracy. If CJN is guilty, it’s not up to Buhari to become the hammer and the carpenter

Which other due process are you looking for....... CCT gave the president order to suspend CJN.

On the 24th of January the court of appeal gave orders to CCT to stay all actions in respect of the CJN matter. Buhari nevertheless went ahead to abide by the kangaroo orders of the CCT. Why did he ignore the order of the court of appeal?

The president acted on the information he got from CCT....... another problem is between the time he got the information and the time appeal court gave orders.

but to be sincere with you..... CJN accepted his mistakes..... the next line of action should be tendering his resignation and not going to court to stop his trials.

First note that this CCT was ordered by three courts: the Federal High Court, the High Court of the FCT and the National Industrial court to maintain status quo and not to do anything that touches the office of the CJN until the hearing of some applications filed before this three courts.

The CCT in disobedience to those court orders went ahead to make interim orders of such far reaching effect without directing that the motion exparte that led to this particular order should be given to the CJN so that fair hearing can be granted to both sides. That's what 'on notice' means
