For now I'll vote yes, meaning impossible. What do you think? |
henrychubayo: Plz let us all end the exchange of words here. The poster, you need to choice a of the place you want to go. Many too many enquiries will get you confused. Also, having some knowledge of football rules, you should be atleast 18 years for clubs to play you (for instance in the premiere league or top division). This is according to fifa rules and you must have played in your home country for some time before moving unless you grow up in that country. But if you can play well, try some clubs in south africa cause that rules normally is not implemented by africans. From south africa, you could move on. Please focuse on one thing so that you should not be confused. I gave you some important infos about south africa and bank statements with you enquired then. Don't create too many topics. Try to play for a club in 9ja because your foreign club will need certification from Nigeria football federation NFF and NFF will need confirmation from your local club to draft the document. Arrange everything one after the other. You will travel and that is my assuranceThis is a good counselling, the kind I love seeing here. Well stated, illustrative and educative. Others will give their's too, so I wont say it's the decisive advice for this thread but it's so relevant to our boy's other thread "Bank Statement". God bless you. |
ibrak200: Please how do i get a visa to the republic of geogia ?My brother, you know what I will say, keep on the good research you are making, enquire about more countries and pay less attention to dream killers. I may not be refering to your boss here but be wise and dont give up, stand on your dream and one day the world will celebrate you. Good luck! |
justwise: Crap from confused individual. Is that all I deserve for now. Thank you for the mercy this time your highness. Your nairaland travel kingdom no go crash o. Amen. |
I'm even finding it difficult to do those highlighting you normally do when you are picking out points. Your highness can add what to do in your next insult to me so that my quote too can be neatly arrange like yours. |
justwise: And you just shown the quality of a good leader? What you have being doing here since you joined is to say things in order to be seem to caring/helping,So what Sir? Tomorrow you may end up cleaning his shoes and even thanking God for the great privilege. My finally piece to you Mr Just Wise: There is no tree you can climb to be ahead of all, no matter how much you strive to climb, there will always be those to look up to. The poorest of those I tutor can teach you cos you are not the ALPHA and OMEGA, you are Just Wise. My apology. My nairatravel king. |
We do away from commiting fornication, adultery or any other form of sin in order to make the already existing grace in our lives to abound. As that verse says "We cant live in sin and say grace should abound". |
@ topic 2 cor 12 knowing you have a weakness which you need God's strength to overcome, is essential when it comes to such things.
Grace! Grace!! God's Grace!!! Grace that will pardon and cleanse within.... Grace that is greater than all our sin. As for me I live because of the mercy I receive and his grace upon my life, not because I know how to keep myself from commiting sins. Grace is the umbrella that covers me. Lord I thank you for making me one of those in Romans 9:15. |
justwise: Now you can see the point. Have you ever dreamt of being a leader for once? With this attitude you wont go beyond nairaland. You must learn to be blind when need be in order to see through others. You are not a fool but I'm beginning to doubt your wisdom, cos a wise man will know he cant be always right. Not the first, so thanks for the additional insult. Wish you the best. |
justwise: I really don't know what you are driving at, this young man can not travel to any country outside Nigeria in search of football club, its wrong and against any rule guarding football transfer/recruitment.I believe I'm talking to a man, not another 7. Carefully read through my post, I didn't say you're wrong for trying to protect him. Any reasonable person will understand the point I'm bringing out. No problem, keep stopping your crawling baby whenever he tries to stand cos you believe he's still too young to stand, when he becomes a lame you must prepare to push wheel. At this 21st century you still think 17 is too young to stand. |
justwise: Info on what exactly? On how to travel to SA to look for a club as a 17yrs old boy? Have you ever seen a footballer at that age or any age at all travelling to foreign country to look for football club without an IV from a club? That's where the need of counselling comes in. When you are talking to a zealous young fellow you need to be extra careful so that you dont scare him out of his dream in the process of trying to protect him. Let me say this for the interest I have in your ideas, you are a moderator, any action or reaction you take or give will go farther than what you can ever imagine, dont be surprise your ideas have brought to reality the dreams of many and have killed the dreams of many, cos you are not an angel, so you cant be perfect. We die the day we stop learning, so live and keep living. |
justwise: Will you advice your 17yrs old younger brother to gamble with his life in foreign country? To the best of my knowledge, the boy is only gathering information. Infact, I will say he's a very smart boy, he wants to have a collection of golden options before he make his choice. Isn't that wise of him? I'm an experience man so I can read the young man. He's not gambling with life, his trying to make a good one. |
ezzybuggy: For me i will rather prefer to destroy that goddam nigerian passport when i become a citizen than to keep it because the forces of darkness involve in oour passport can ruine our carier as being a citizen of the usa. So my broder burn am trowayYou sound like a comedian, but let me tell you this. Life is not always about having money, pleasure and all the goodies of this world at your disposal. You are an African, you belong to this soil, if you reject your land for all the affore mentioned things, there will come a time your land will reject you, and all you've acquired may not be able to buy the soil back. You know the saddest truth, that strange land you cherish so much to curse your own land will tell you in a clear English "I KNOW YOU NOT". I pray by then your children's children will be able to forgive you. |
@poster I will advice you to take to justwise advice, I believe you are not a novice so it'll be needless lecturing you on how to plan your UK study trip from holland where you're legally married to a citizen and have all your papers valid. Maybe you actually want to come and see your people at home. |
justwise: As a 17yrs old boy, some of the travel inquires you make here is becoming worrying. You are footballer and want to travel to SA to look for club, now you want to travel to Republic of Georgia? Any such post again will be deleted.@justwise You realy ought to be a soldier. This is a forum for goodness sake, the boy has every right to change his mind, there should be freedom of choice making. I've read much of your posts and seen you are intelligent and good at what you do but sometime you need to be soft on your people. U said the boy is just 17. |
You read engineering and want to travel for acting. A bit ridiculous but I guess you want to take the talent way. Well, I will sugest you take your time, you can act and make money here too. |
humblepie: Fellow brothers and sisters we are all feeling the burden of that name Nigeria regardless of what comments are being posted here cos at the end of it all ,the onus lies on everyone of us. Our attitude needs a drastic change me inclusive cos I'm sick n tired of questions whenever the name Nigeria is propped up feels like a bomb coming out of my mouth anytime I'm being asked of my origin ,its not funny shed tears ,depressed etc as a Nigerian ??but I'm not deterred cos my inner strength lies within me always head up!! So pls let's not lose sight of how the battered image can be redeemed.. in our little corner we can make d light shine positively just with words being tools for others to make use of ....we don't need to insult ourselves rather stumble heads together and shed that bad toga to shame..God bless us all!! |

Few days back a young Nigerian died after graduation ceremony in europe and the Nigerian embassy over there said (as rumored) they can't afford the fund to send the body back home cos the deceased was not on scholaship. The fellow Nigerian students had to contribute to ensure the boy's buried over there, while the embassy couldn't render any help. as we all know what the next reaction and comments could be: NIGERIA GOVT IS THIS AND THAT! Then I made a statement I will like to make here too: "If nothing tamper with the golden Nigeria within me, I believe one day I will live to change the Nigeria without. Any government can fail her people but the goverment of God never disappoint, let's just have a good heart and trust in God and God alone" Until we stand up to our responsibilities as an individual citizen of Nigeria, and change our mentality of I'M-ON-MY-OWN our image will keep getting worse. |
No direct flight from lagos to caracas. SAA is the best choice, as iberia and all others will route you through schengen state like spain of france. Brazil doesn't throw passengers back home for no reason, something must be wrong with the schedule or paper. Transitn thr. Argentina isn't a good option, you will be delayed and interrogated beyond necesary. |
kevi3: ..? |
staaari: dat na my thinking but u never know.you dont have to risk it if your expired passport is legally gotten. Visit the nigeria embassy over there. Some Nigeria embassies and missions abroad do issue passport and other travel docs. |
Litmus: Nigerians are tagged bad probably out of fear of Nigerians. Nigerians are feared because, they are black and because they are progressive. Anyone who seriously believes that Nigerians have a predisposition towards crime is ignorant. Before Nigerians came along, African Americans were tagged bad and predisposed towards crime. The western media always demonizes any set of black people who look as if they may buck the comfortable notion that black people are timid, dumb and servile.I'm realy feeling sick of it. May God help us. |
Recently I noticed a tattoo on the body of a friend who is a strong christian. I asked how about it and was told the tattoo were marked by the parents who are not christians. It bothers me and so I enquired more from an old lady of about 80 years of age. She simply shew me her arm. An eagle tattoed boldly on it. Should I then believe tattoo marking on skin is part of our culture and tradition in Nigeria? |
gallivant: I am not.The point I'm raising is even though Litmus disagree with us, he still made good points. Carefully read his response, he focused on black race in general, not just Nigerians. Though, I can say the points he raised are just additional contributing factors to the cause of the bad image we're talking about. |
justwise: If you don't see the funny side then the joke is on you.Well I like you people's style, "write, laugh and make readers laugh". |
onatisi: welcome to accra , we call it accra cry ur own cry .dont worryGood advice! I just remember Aflao border, they can rob you of your underpants there if you ain't extra careful. |
justwise:Princeonx's comment Isn't funny, is it? The person's just requesting for all infos he needs from filling the non immigrnt form to ticket booking, though with a less appropriate grammatical construction. Just educate him/her. |
So the organizer's contact couldn't be included, no phone number, no website, no abstract, he's really in lost angels. If me i will simply reply "Save Your UN Youth Conference for those Without Heads cos I Got One and It's Working Perfectly". God save us! |
